Trina's dark eyes left the definition of a 'Geode' and looked at Caradoc, instantly concerned. "Are you alright?" She asks, lifting the book from her lap and setting it on the counter, rising.

Ever stretched his arms as he came in through the kitchen, eyes half lulled. Though, as he saw Caradoc, he instantly came to life, as if animated. "Love!" he exclaimed, hurrying over, and drawing Caradoc into an intimate, close hug. Standing back with a hand on each of the boy's shoulders, he smiled. "HOw are you, my dear?"

"I'm okay, miss Trina." Caradoc said, wrapping his arms around his lover. He rested his chin on Ever's shoulder and relaxed in his arms before pulling back. Trian was able to give him a new eye on their trip to his house and he was glad there was no more stinging or discomfort. He loved depth perception, too. "Just some extensive repairs. Sorry I couldn't come to bed last night, Ev."

Ever sighed dramatically, as if he had just remembered. Putting his hands on his hips and dropping his head, Ever sniffled. "I just had to cuddle with the blankets like a poor-desperate-six-foot-tall-boy-with-wings-who-is-pitiful." he said, before laughing softly, and hugging Caradoc again. "Just glad that you're alright now. If not maybe needing a good rest."

Trina smiled at the two of them, glad they were both content. Alot of people were rope friends here. "Good." She lifted the dictionary, tapping a picture of a Geode. "I'm going to go find one of these." She stated, smiling. "A G-o-de" (Think Odie. That's how she's saying it.) "I'll find one for the both of you as well, if you like." She seemed pleased with her new found discovery of Geodes, and actually grinned. "Okay?"

Miles ran after him.

"Well he be all right now?" He asked with concern to Caradoc.

"Aww..." Caradoc sympathized, rubbing Ever's back. He looked over at Trina and smiled, "I dunno where you can look for those. Master Trian has friends who collect them, but I don't know where they live." He said, resting his palm on Ever's cheek before giving him a tender kiss. He sighed and looked over to Miles. "He should be fine as long as he stays out of the rain." He said, reaching down to toy with his fiance's fingers.

Miles smiled.

"You're the best." He waved and ran back down the stairs.

(Gotta go!) Trina nodded, not knowing who Trian was. Closing the book and leaving it on the counter. She'd be back the next day, shouldn't take too long to fly where she needed to. With a wave, she headed out.

Ever smiled down at his hand, and wrapped an arm around Caradoc. "Love, dear, can we go make up our loss of snuggling time?" he asked, in a soft, pleading voice. With a small giggle, his lips landed all along Caradoc's ear and neck.

Caradoc shrugged, "It was no problem, Miles!" he called after the man before putting his full attention on Ever. He blushed and bent his neck with a small laugh. "I'd love to, my sweet." he murmured, loving the other boy's warmth. He kissed his jaw and pulled him along towards the stairs. After one last kiss, he pulled him up them.

A tall woman of almost-twenty one came slowly down the stairs, eyes content and shining, and a small smile to the room. Cassanova's hands set into the pockets of her loose jeans, and her eyes wandered. Tomokazu must not be back yet, she presumed, because the bar was lacking a certain homey feeling warmth. Or, perhaps that it only felt like that to her, because Tomo was not here. Her hair dipped beneath her shoulder blades, and shown a creamy-hinted silver, instead of it's tinted blue. Her ears and tail the same. After recovery from Liam, her body had quickly adjusted back into itself.

Wringing her hands a little bit, the young woman of average height approached the bar. Was Tomo going to come home today? She'd prepared tea and everything, yesterday; but no signs of the blond-soul-searcher. It would seem normal to most passerby, but to some, Cass seemed more calm. Down to earth. She'd become like this for just a short while during Liam's pregnancy, but her unstable emotions had driven her out of it violently. Yet now, she sat here, happy and smiling atop a barstool. Comfortable, and content... Simply waiting for the cat-boy that she loved.

It'd been a few days since Cass had talked to Ellie, since she was always busy snogging and cuddling her husband. No matter, though. Cass kept pretty busy taking care of Liam, and watching him. Also, she spent her free time reading... It had been a long, long time since Cassanova had been able to sit down with a book, a box of Oreo cookies, and have a good sit-in. Somehow, Liam's sleeping, smiling face and small, twitching, furry ears had reminded her to just slow down and take a breather every now and then. He was precious, and everyone knew it. When she was not reminded of Kaia, Cass always thought of Liam as hers. She mothered him, and nurtured him. All too glad that he was here. If she'd known the choice back then that she did now, she'd still take that vial from the mysterious person. It was worth having Liam for every minute.

Finally at peace with herself once again, Cass was ready to try this relationship. She was ready to take the time for Tomo. He was worth it. And, she was grateful. This man was busy, and he did deserve his own break. Sometimes now, Cass definitely felt like she'd gone too hard on him. Things were not so peaches-and-cream for the poor boy! And again, something about cookies had brought her to this. Tomo had definitely been through a lot... He needed his own peace, too. The entire time that Cass had gone through such a withdraw from the blond, she hadn't taken into consideration that it was not just stress upon her. It was his son, after all. Maybe it was not all so easy... She'd thought of that now, with the cookies, and the pages upon pages of words.

Perhaps this be why it best that these two people needed to start over. Not entirely with getting to know each other, perhaps; or maybe not even with being parents. But, there was something certain that they needed to slow it down, and maybe just take it one step at a time. As much as she was guilty for agreeing to it, Tomo was right. Cass was not Kaia, and could not be her. And lately, Tomo seemed to have noticed this. Only time could tell if he had come to more of a realization of any more of this situation they faced, through his time with Ritsuko. This was good... Ritsuko was magic in more ways than just healing. Well, perhaps this was healing, that he was doing. Healing for his wife... Healing for his family. The entire Muffin's-worth of a family.

Still, here she sat, calm, and happy, now having gotten up to retrieve a bowl of berries, which she'd sat in front of her at the bar. Now, she was picking out small leaves and such, putting the best of the little berries into a white bowl for eating. It was a small job, but it kept her hands busy as her head swam among many a-thoughts. One thing she was sure of, though. Things would be better from now on. Without her being pregnant, she could keep her emotions under control, and be more calm about things like she'd always tried to be before.

The Muffin was quiet except for the heavy fall of the rain outside. There was no threat of thunder, but the pattering of the rain was loud enough to pull a daydreamer out of his daze. As for Tomo, the soaked catboy was fighting one. He stood at the top of the hill and stopped to hold his head for a few moments. It felt huge, like a giant lead balloon. He felt drowsy and comfortable. Like a contently sleeping teenage girl after a good cry. That sort of heavy, yet weightless feeling that made you want to curl up and sleep right where you were.

The Demented Muffin was a straitshot, now and its glowing warm lights seemed to call to him even more. The blonde pulled a grin on his face as if it were as natural as breathing. Two years ago, he stared at this building with wary eyes. It was a calm afternoon, then. Nice day, really. The dark blue paint was peeling from the building's wooden siding. The sixteen year old catboy pushed opened the old door as it swung open on one hinge and cringed at the falling beams and spider-ridden fireplace. The Muffin-- currently known as 'Mama's Kitchen' according to the rusty sign buried under a pile of broken chairs and dust-- was on a downward spiral towards rubble. That day, the young blonde pushed up his sleeves and didn't stop working until his home was finished.

A coat of paint, a new bar, and some major remodeling later, the Muffin stood in all its glory. It was like a family member in itself. Loving and helping anyone who walked through her doors. Tomo woke up every morning with pride behind his eyes every time he heard another voice. Every time he heard the clinking of plates downstairs. Every time he heard someone cry. Every time he heard the creak of a floorboard. The Muffin was very much alive thanks to his tender eye and loving hand. Families were made here.

Tomokazu Uehara caught his breath and started to walk closer to his home, his family. The closer he got, the warmer he felt as if gentle hands were pulling him in for a hug. "I'm home!" He said to the building, running his wet fingers over the sun-faded paint. He smiled and pushed open the front door, letting himself drip on the foot rug before setting his bags down on the floor. "I'm home!" He said again, this time to the occupants of the Muffin. Tomo gazed around, letting his eyes fall on Cass.

"Hello." He greeted softly, smile gentle and inviting. Despite being soaking wet, his appearance was already ten times better. One could tell he had groomed himself quite well before he left. Freshly showered, his shoulder length hair trimmed just a little bit. He looked healthier, too. Like he had been fed a good hearty meal after starving for weeks. Then came his eyes. Before, his eyes were just an ordinary shade of green. Handsome, but mediocre. Now his eyes shone with a golden warmth. A love that had been in them all along, just a little too shy to come out.

Now he stood for a few moments, wondering if he should let her come to him or if he would stop worrying about making her uncomfortable and just hug the poor woman. He went for the latter and walked up to her at a quick pace, lifting her into the air and twirling before setting her back down on the floor and kissing her. "Did you miss me?" He asked, proud of himself for barely getting her wet through the whole thing.

River sat silently staring at the ground of her room. It felt so utterly amusing to be sitting and thinking about things she'd usualy disregard. Of course she was soaking wet just coming from the shower room. Though she didn't really dress herself like normal. The smell of paint drifted by her rooms door earlier and she thought of it; must be that man Silent spoke of. That was the only Logical thing she could think of not to mention the lingering feelings The boy had for her.
It made her feel insanely guilty for putting him through this; it was not his fault she had not the compacity to feel things. If only she could some how fix herself to apepase the boy. Her arms where all torn up, blood that had been there was washed away in the sudden rush of water from before. Taking a deep breath she closed her eyes to think deeper on her feelings.

Falling back she mulled deeper on her thoughts and enjoyed her absolute silence. Not a soul was with her besides the utterly dark mirror that seemed to keep her reflection as a memory then as a one time thing. At times she could speak to the thing, it would take her away; she had yet to test how far it could take her and wasn't about to try it. She should teach the others to use it; it'd be alot easier to control she thought.
