*waves to Pinkee*
That somewhat sounds like my friend. All our other friends had boys this year and she is having another girl. She just knew it was going to happen that way too.

Malee, got a question for you, I know that posts encouraging suicide are against the TOS but are threads by someone saying that they are suicidal against the TOS? (ran into such a thread the other day)

I don't believe so. If they are looking for people to encourage them to go ahead with the act, might be a troll account. But if it is somebody creating a thread stating they may be suicidal and are perhaps looking for help, then it should be okay.

hmmmmm on Oprah they are talking about global warming and what you can do to help. They talk about buying those hybrid cars but seriously how are those practical for a family? They are all SO SMALL!! We need something that is a wagon that we can put kid(s) and our dogs in! But more than that we need something that actually has ROOM! If they made a bigger fuel efficient car I would jump all over it! But they just arent practical for a family bigger than 3! >. sweatdrop

Totally understand!
That makes more sense! 3nodding
Yeah. I actually make baby bows and bracelets, and I've tried to sell, but... well qkay, I live in Utah, and you can find hundreds of them here. I have a friend I sent some to in Arazonia, and she says that she has peole asking her if she got them from this expensive botique there, she said I could easily charge $20 a bracelet there. I can't even sell them for under $10 here, and they're sterling silver and crystal, or cat's eye beds, or real pearls, or...
The baby bows I am constantly complimented on. (I'm a perfectionist) They are very well made, I sear the ends of the ribbon so the the bows don't fall apart on you (yeah had that happen with some of hers before I started making them), and they're sewn, not wired, so they're fairly time-consuming. But again, being in Utah, people care about cheap, not quality...
My sister works as a nanny (in-home) in Maryland, and the lady that she nannies for LOVED the bows and bracelts on my little one when I went to visit and said I could make a small fortune on them there. I did end up sending her an adult-sized bracelt of one of her faves as a thanks for letting me and my daughter stay with thir family when we visited my sis. [/complain]
I didn't care one way or the other if we found out, hubby didn't want to, so we didn't. He said that he was disappointed 'cause it didn't happen the way he thought it would--basically how it happens on TV, baby comes out and you throw a minit party with confetti and stuff... okay, not quite that extreame, but he was disappointed, so he says he wants to find out with this one. I'm for whatever he wants to do.

Yeah, people have told me I should sell them online, but there are things that you have to do to sell stuff online too, and... I don't know. It's kinda like I was telling my mom, it's one thing to be able to take orders and make them as I get them, it would be another thing to try and get enough of a variety and stuff to sell them online... Hmm, that's not quite what I'm trying to explain.... Ideally I would like to take orders and pick up the materials as needed. I mean tying to match colors and what-not and... I don't know.
Would like to be able to sleep now, but nah, we've still got a few hours before bedtime.
I've heard the booths are pricy, then add the fact that I'd have to compete with the other pepole who sell things like that there... *shakes head* not worth it by a long shot.

I've had people tell me eBay, and Amazon, but there are still things you'd need to do like set up a sales account, set up something like PayPal, get pics up...
Yeah, hours... *thinks* you weren't on eariler when we were talking about my hubby working nights. We're all (hubby, daughter, and self) on a LATE schedule! I was talking earlier about how my daughter goes down for her nap when most people put their kids to bed for the night.
