Go watch more of it. I've watched the first 70 episodes of Naruto, and all of the Manga, and the first 150 episodes of One Piece, with all of the Manga. One Piece is better paced after the first 30 episodes. Why do you think I tell people to skip until the Luffy -Krieg Fight? Naruto, for 70 episodes, haven't showed signs of getting better quality animation, or better paced =/

Anyway....
What i'm saying about Naruto in general, The manga is good, the Anime is mediocre, but it definately doesn't deserve the attention it gets.
There are much better Shounen out there.

I'll get right on that, as I intended to anyways. rolleyes I still don't see the justification, even in the 90s in Arabasta, for you to claim that One Piece has much better pacing. They spent a whole episode of Luffy eating, Smoker et al being in town, and bringing Ace into the town. On the later post: I love Ikkoku too. That was just to mock your choice of using "slower" instead of "more drawn out," which is what you meant. And by no means am I saying that Naruto has the best animation, so stop trying to making it seem like I am. Don't hate Naruto for Cliche's Characters? Care to review your first argument then? There are much better Shounen out there. Then your argument about being drawn out is invalidated by your own statements as well, because the manga draws it out just as much. Regardless, I like the series, but by no means are you required to. Similarly, I like One Piece well enough, but I believe that there are far better series out there as well.
