Rei sighed. "No im not getting on it." The brown horse continued to follow them "hey if it follows us out of the palaace were not stealing it,its just following us." she said trying to think positive. the wound on her leg had ripped open from walking but rei was still ignoring it and continued to walk.

"You have a good grip on the kids?" Bakura asked, but didn't wait for a response. He scooped her up, almost effortlessly, and continued to walk. A stable boy had run out after seeing the horse following them and grabbed the reins, tugging the horse back into the stables.

Rei let out a slight squeek still holding onto the kids "You know bakura...even if you hate me....I still love you..." she said closing her eyes.

"You probably will for the rest of your life." Bakura said with a sigh. "I think Akila stays in this town. I wanted her to stay close to the palace." Away from the palace and the pharaoh, Bakura was starting to go back to normal.
[You know how sometimes people will have Marik in ancient Egypt? Do you think I could have that for this roleplay? Not the actual Marik, just what he looks like and same attitude. Or something.]

[His name shall be Mariku. Only because I recently read a nice fanfic with him in it and his name was Mariku.]
"That's where I'm going." Bakura remarked cheerfully, as they entered the town outside of the palace gates. He had gone back to normal and was much more cheerful than before.

It was night out, so most of the people were inside. Bakura wasn't exactly sure as to which house was Akila's, but decided that once he came across it he would remember. He didn't need to, however; before he knew it, a person was rushing towards him. He dropped Rei to the ground; (not hard, of course-- he had knelt down and placed her gently on the ground) and tensed in case this was an attacker. He suddenly found himself being swallowed up in someone's arms, and quite unable to breathe. "Oh, Bakura, I've missed you! You can't leave an old woman alone like that!" Akila's voice was so familiar, yet it had been so long since Bakura had heard it last, that he almost cried. He was glad she was still alive. Akila pulled away, smiling broadly, to examine the king of thieves. "You look a lot older. I'm just glad to see you alive, though."

Rei let out a small chuckle. Even if akila wouldent rember her,it was nice to see her "You dont look that old." Rei said struggling to get to her feet.

"Oh, I still think of you as a little boy." Akila said, then suddenly seemed to realize that it wasn't Bakura who had spoken. Wide-eyed, she looked down at Rei, seeing her for the first time. "Who are you?"

Rei smiled softly "hello. Im rei." Shesaid. Sheran her fingers threw her hair and stoped when she felt somthing wet. looking to her fingers she blinked "So thats why my head hurts..."

Akila looked at Bakura, who sighed and shrugged slightly. Akila huffed. "Well, I guess if you're with Bakura I should take you in as well. How do you know each other?" She was rather guarded around Rei, who she judged as a stranger. Bakura wasn't in the mood to explain things right then; he decided to be mean and leave Rei with the job, which would be hard to do with Akila being grumpy and defense around a stranger. "Here, you guys go to the house. I'm going to get some water. For, uh... for your head, Rei." He was coming up with it on the spot, and it was quite obvious. He quickly scurried off before anything could be said.

Akila laughed out loud at the ridiculousness of it. "Wife? Of that Bakura? Don't think so." She slapped Rei on her back as she led her into the small hut. "Now, why don't you try startin' from the beginning and see if I know what you're saying." Bakura laughed a little to himself as he got to the well. Poor Rei. He'd have to apologize later. He realized that he didn't have a jug or bucket to speak of, but wasn't about to go to the house and get one. He'd just have to wait a while. Sighing, feeling utterly worn out, Bakura sat down on the ground, leaning his back against the stones surrounding the well. He felt safe enough to perhaps doze a little bit, knowing that not many people were out and that he had a hidden knife.

Rei stumbled a bit as she was slaped on the back "yes of that bakura" she said as they heded into the hut. kek and started to whimperand rei lookeddown. once his mothers wereswereon him he stoped whimpering.
