GemEncrustedEarth GigglyGal GemEncrustedEarth GigglyGal Strideo Oh noes! GigglyGal is becoming dumber! gonk Quick! Read a science book! xp gonk My brain is MELTIIIIINNNNG!
I gave a friend's friend pointers on her GCSE English coursework today. Sonnets seem such a long time ago! -sniffle- I miss writing essays already! I don't. Go be an English teacher. I tried to clean my room today; it got mostly picked up. Does that count? Lol - I want to do an English degree (possibly a masters, too), convert to Law (Family Law, in particular) and then, possibly, train as a forensic linguist. 3nodding never heard of the last one They basically analyse textual evidence. Things like making sure that statements haven't been forced or dictated by the police, or that suicide notes are genuine, not cover-up attempts. It's pretty interesting stuff, if you're like me xd
Less than a month until I get my results gonk

Less than a month until I get my results gonk It does sound more interesting when you put it that way. I always thought that a legal career sounded boring unless you were a big shot trial attorney or something. xp

I always thought that a legal career sounded boring unless you were a big shot trial attorney or something. xp I still want to train as a barrister first, but places at the Bar are far outweighed by potential barristers, if that makes sense. Too many people are training in the belief that it's all big money. Sadly, most lawyers, particularly barristers, end up pulling themselves along minimum wage by their fingernails. Hence adding as much as I can to my CV xd
