Why on earth do you think I joined? ninja

Templesmith is always good for a bit of baby-eating discussion, too.

I enjoy me some Fraction. The other day, to commemorate Jack Kirby's birthday, he decided to create 719 universes, describing several of them. Hilarity ensued.

I am such a hopeless little DC fangirl. Almost all my comic industry people on my follow list are DC, but that might just be because 90% of my sub list is DC. Which, I totally need to cut down... sad At least until I get a new job. I'm averaging 25$/week (which is nothing compared to how much I spent when I read Marvel titles as well).

I think the Bat books are going to be the ones to go. sad I honestly only started getting the majority of them just to figure out why the hell Birds of Prey was going to be cancelled. ....which I still don't understand. DC said at SDCC for BoP fans to read the relaunched Batgirl. I'm going to give that one a few more issues, but err... I didn't just read BoP for Babs, or for the "all girl" element.

I love @GeoffJohns01's twitter best out of the DC's twitter crew, 'cause he posts the sweetest little mini stories. Like about the neighbor kids who's mom told them when the ice cream truck played music, it meant that they were out of ice cream. D:

The cereal experiments are great too, like eating Frankenberry with Strawberry Quik!ed out milk. x_____x I swear, that sounds like something Kid Flash (Wally or Bart) would approve of.

I like @GailSimone too, but sometimes, I worry a bit with all her crack related jokes. Although, having a full oath written for the Crack Lanterns, and saying that Metamorpho's white skin was cocaine was the kind of silliness I approve.

At first, I was a Twitter hater, but then I realized it totally was not for following people who treat it like a Facebook status update. X) Also, my friend who basically refuses to join ANY social networking site, loves her Twitter feed, and is addicted to checking it. Like, she gets 20 browser tabs going of all the people she follows, so she can see all the @ replies. ...we are such nerds, that we usually discuss our various twitter feeds daily over the phone, or in person. sweatdrop

I have a problem grasping the "less is more" when it comes to personal LJ posts (epic mini novellas, when I actually post one), forum posts (when have you not seen a wall of text from me?), and even real life verbal conversations (I go off on so many tangents to explain things, I end up forgetting what my original point was...which is kinda really bad during a job interview btw). The character limit forces me to really cut down, and get at the heart of what I feel I need to share with the internet. Limits angry ranting, too!

I have been very guilty of doing 3 tweets in a row when I get upset over my evil bank, my endless job search, or AWESOME late night 80s videos, though. gonk

Part of me wants to get buzzed/drunk just to see what it's like. This week has been way too freaking stressful.

Oh, I've been there. Like, last night. Tequila failed me. sad

Supernatural DVDs and Jensen Ackles therapy was a nice backup. I've found some quiet R&R is what I really need after a bad week. Is there anyway you can be a lazy slug this weekend and have a manservant wait on you hand and foot?

Warm cookies. Fresh ones, make someone else bake them, don't just get the soft chips'ahoy and nuke them. It does wonders.

My aim has been hacked for some odd bizarre reason.

Stressful..

Work, lack of work, stupid family drama, yadda yadda....
As for being drunk, nope. I'm well over drinking age too. I'm boring, I guess.

Have you tried unemployment?

Where they give you checks while you're inbetween jobs. Would reduce the stress.

Went to Austin Books and Comics to day for there Marmoreal Day sale. 50% off select trades and back issue comics.
buy one get one free Mangas (also had a buy 5 get 7 free, and buy 10 get 15 free)
Went there and picked up the back issue of Zot 6-10 (sadly they don't have 5, only one missing crying ) If any one new a site where I can find a issue I'm looking for let me know. Already tried Ebay and Amazon with no luck.

Also, I'm now going to get serous about making a comic. and Since my current Comic project with Jeff has had some problems (he hit a rough patch in life) so I'm giving him a break, plus i get to work on a new comic.

So I posted a job offer at Deviant Art, and I was surprised at the number of people interested in working on it. And After a long time of looking through applicants I think I found some people like to work on it.

So wish me luck that this comic come to see the light of day.
