A thought poped into her head and an evil grin came over her face "ya know bakura...if you want this child to live you'll leave him alone..I have to trouble with stabing myself..."

Bakura's face contorted with anger, and he growled slightly. This was bad; he knew that what Kira said was true. His featured twisted into a slight grin as he shrugged. "Fine. We'll allow him to choose for himself." He said, then fixed a dark glare on Ryou. "Ryou, do you want to stay with Kira, or come over here?"
Ryou was taken by surprise at being given a choice, although it wasn't much of one. Stay with Kira and only get Bakura more angry later, where it counted, or go over to Bakura now when his anger was less than it might be later. The simple matter made itself clear, however, and he remembered what he had said to Kira before, when she had been on the verge of dying. He bit his bottom lip, though, and trembled under the strong glare of Bakura's, not moving.

"I'm staying by Kira," Ryou said with some uncertainty, but then nodded abruptly and sat down on the floor, wincing at the pain of this. His flesh wounds were healing slowly as Bakura resorted to more mental 'activities,' and using smaller physical wounds.
Bakura let out a small sound of outrage at this. "You just have to mess up everything, don't you, Kira?!" He snapped, looking cross. "Fine. I'll just stay here until Ryou makes up his mind. And if you dare kill the child, I'll do the same to Ryou. I swear to you that I will..."

Bakura left the room silently, and came back with a pair of scissors. "Okay, I'll agree to those terms. Now, Ryou, since I can't hurt you, let me at least cut off that hair of yours. It's getting quite long and it disturbs every bit of me."
Ryou didn't budge. Instead some of his confidence was gained as he curled up, catlike, on the couch next to Kira and smirked slightly. "Why? Does me having long hair give you some impression that I resemble a girl, and that's what disturbs you? 'Cause I could believe that..."

"I see how it is, then," Bakura said in an oddly casual voice, as though they were all friends. It had been so long since he had had a real talk with other people, not really counting Ryou, that he was enjoying this. "Everything I say or suggest you'll go against, right?"
Ryou looked thoughtful for a moment then nodded, closing his eyes. "Yeah, pretty much. But don't you dare try to use that against me later; I'm just saying that for your opinions." He yawned widely, tears forming in the corners of his eyes. "And I like my hair as well..."

Kira nodded "yea thats the way things go..."her hands were still gently running threw his hair.She had missed the feel.She had missed him period.

"Hmm..." Bakura shrugged slightly and grabbed a lock of his own hair, examined it, and cut off the tip with the scissors. White hair fell to the ground, and he frowned at it. "Oops." He cut the scissors in his hand in open air, then let out a muted roar of anger and flung them at the wall, where they broke and fell to the ground. "Dammit, what does he want?!" He suddenly demanded, getting to his feet, and storming into his bedroom. "Tell him to go away!" He shouted, slamming the door.
Ryou sighed heavily at the comforting feeling of Kira's hands, but trembled when Bakura suddenly flew into a slight rage. "What on earth..." He murmured, but his silent question was answered when there was a knock on the door. Ryou rose to his feet and cautiously moved towards the door, opening it to reveal Atem. "Oh. Bakura says for you to go away." Ryou said bluntly, blinking in slight confusion.

"And since when do I listen to him?" Atem asked, pushing past Ryou and into the living room. He didn't seem to notice that anything was wrong. "Oh, hello, Kira. What are you doing here? Last Khalid told me you were still in the hospital..."
"Leave!" Bakura came out of his bedroom at Atem's entrance, sulking in the doorway. "I don't want you here." He said, as though this was reason enough for Atem to leave.

Bakura grunted in response to Kira, giving Atem a look that a child might to a parent who took away a toy. This quickly faded, followed by a glare. "Not leaving? Fine. Ryou, make him go away if you must." He demanded, turning his glare on Ryou.
Ryou sighed lightly, wondering what the point of trying would be. He couldn't use his right arm very well, and was weakened considerably by abuse. All he felt he could do was try to shoo Atem away with a wave of his hand. He could tell by the look on Bakura's face that his yami was quite serious, and knew that he'd be wanting Ryou to hurry up. So the boy extracted the dagger from his sleeve, head bowed, and abruptly whisked it up to be held against Atem's throat. He gritted his teeth together, wishing that he didn't have to be doing this, and added a little pressure to the weapon. "You heard Bakura... Get out of here..." Ryou growled in an attitude and voice that was unlike his own.
Atem backed towards the door, where Yugi stood, watching in awe. "Look, Ryou, you don't have to listen to Bakura..." He tried to say, suddenly not doubting Ryou's ability to kill him right there. There was a maddened look in the boy's eye, one that could only have formed after some horrible forms of torture. Atem had seen it before, some of the victims his own. This look had been hidden by Ryou with Kira's presence, but had suddenly emerged as the boy's concentration fell on Atem only.

"ryou...its alright..let him in...you dont have to listen to bakura.." she said calmly to ryou.She really couldent see what was going on.
