Bhavaranth was already composing an ode to himself in his head. It was true that they'd gotten very lucky and managed to help a wingmate out of a very bad situation, but odes were probably unnecessary. Still, he'd let the ecstatic blue bask for a while longer.

No. That line of thinking wasn't going to keep the blue calm, and that was most important now, as the dragonhealers stitched tended his leg. There was no fault to lay, no fingers to point. Winds played havoc with Thread and those who fought it. But it should have been him!
