Sometimes I think it would have been smarter to have been an Elemental type- I've learned more techniques from earth than I have from anywhere else T.T

True... that's about as close to hell as you can get.
The exam isn't actually held IN the village though- it's held in some bunker in the Rice Country. So you're kinda in like purgatory or something.
