Amnity saw him suddenly turn away, the smile disappearing from his face. She saw as he got ready to reach for his guns, instinctively she herself would immediately and swiftly draw hers first, but she didn't move a muscle.
"...Still a little jumpy?" she asked, a warm smile proceeded, "I'm not doing my job well then...I promised earlier that I wouldn't let you live in fear..." the hunter closed her eyes, "I can never bring myself to hurt you, I'll protect you with my life...Mephlius." she cringed, expecting him to draw his weapon and shoot her.

He eased up a little bit. "I'm sorry... I just expected... I don't know what to say here." There's no way... that I've given up my trust this easily? No, I can trust her. She'd never hurt me, she said so herself. But if she said it... how do I know... AUGH!

Amnity saw his face, he seemed to be conflicting on whether or not to truly trust her. Guilt crept into her heart again, almost suffocating it. He doesn't fully trust me?.. She scolded herself for acting so foolish, for being so secretive with him when he just wanted to help her. So now she has to prove that she trusts him...With her life.
She came closer to him, slowly and gently she placed both of her hands on his hand...The one that was holding the gun. Amnity raised it right to her chest and looked him straight in the eyes. "Pull the trigger Mephlius..." she ordered, her voice was as brave and strong as the look she had in her eyes, "Pull the tigger..." she ordered one last time, her hand still holding his.

A trust excercise... I'm going to flip it onto her. He looked at the gun, seeming to be in horror, but actually checking. The safety was still on. Confident it wouldn't fire... he pulled the trigger with a resounding click. Either she kills me here... or she trusts me.

Amnity didn't flinch like before, she didn't even move a muscle. Seeing that the gun didn't fire she rolled her eyes, feeling really stupid to forget to check if the safety was on. Perfectly and flawlessly disarming the gun from his hand she took out her own revolver and cocked it before putting it into his hands. She then leveled the gun to be symmetrical to her heart.
Amnity looked back at him now, a smirk on her face, "I know this is a little extreme compared to the 'falling backwards and letting the person behind you catch you' game but I find it quite affective." she joked, then the smirk disappeared, quickly being replaced with a brave expression. "Go ahead now..." her voice sounded really serious...Probably because part of it was.

Mephlius watched. He held the revolver in his hands. He felt its cold steel. All of his questions... his worries... his problems... all a few inches of his finger away. He stared her in the eyes. "This isn't the trust I need." He pulls back the hammer of the revolver, and moves it away from her. He aims it at the sky, acting as if he was done. He slowly brings it down to his temple, and closes his eyes. "This is the trust I need."

Tokeru arrived in the city, homing in on the signal that was given by Amnity's communicator. He had focused on her because she had sided with the scum once before, and he was to make sure she did not again.
He got closer to the signal, and made his way to where she was.

Daiguren enter the city looking for a person, but as he couldn't see he would have to find his brother'n by another manor. He would search for the sounds of combat and the smell of flames for both seemed to always be around DB.

Amnity's eye widened in horror, then they narrowed dangerously. She rushed at him in almost vampiric speed, grabbing his hand she struggled to point the gun away from his head.
"DON'T!!!" she hissed loudly, "Mephlius you're a hunter! If hunters give up as easily as you did then there will be no more left! Can't you see? It's the strength and courage that keeps us from fearing ANYTHING! It's from our determination that we struggle to live and protect people from the unholy creatures of this world!"

He didn't struggle at all, as the gun was pointed away. He reached out his free hand, and hugged her. "You passed... I trust you completely." He smiled, but she couldn't see it.

She blinked multiple times in shock, then realization came into view. I've been tricked... Were the words that popped into her mind. Amnity briefly hugged him back before pulling away, a pout on her face. How did I not see that coming? she scolded herself, folding her arms stubbornly. But when she looked at Mephlius, she couldn't help but smile and feel relief flow through her veins.

"I meant it literally. I wasn't afraid that I would kill you. I wasn't afraid that you would kill me. I was afraid that if push came to shove, and someone put a gun to my head... whether or not you would risk yourself to save me. Despite the orders... and the risk... if you would do it. And you did." He opened his eyes, and sighed with relief.

"Hey Daiguren."He said walking closer to him."Its harder to find me in the city, thats the one of the places I make my flames basically gone but not completly."He looked around checking for hunters or any other kind of threat."Its very unwise to be in a city blinded, theres to much noise and to many diffrent kinds of smells to find just one person or lock onto them."

She stomped over to him and punched him in the arm. "YOU could have told me that before you IDIOT!! I was so worried that you were going to hurt yourself!!!" she yelled, but her anger didn't last long. She could never bring herself to be angry at him, she was just angry at herself for getting him so close to a gun pointed at his head. Amnity's fury slowly eased, having it replaced by happiness and relief, "Don't scare me like that Mephlius..." she said to him, her voice soft and warm.
