KirbytheChef dot_com confused It definetly is worth it. Naruto isn't bad, it's just given a bad reputation by Narutards. It's one of the most original series I've seen, anyways. sad xD It's not original. The Manga is good, I'll give you that. I dislike the Anime, however, mostly due to the crappy animation quality. The story itself may not be original, but the characters, for the most part, are extremely original. I've seen the prankster type of character, and I've seen the tortured youth character, but I've never seen them both used in the same character. On top of that, there are very few series that I've seen that put kids in such a situation as... being trained to kill, and have them act semi-realistically about it. I like action series' that center around kids and their growing up in difficult situations, as long as they act fairly realistic. That's what I liked about Digimon Tamers, and that's what I like about Naruto. It's something I don't find in many series'. And there was the tail end of the Cell Games arc of DBZ... whee Edit: And of course, there's Eva... almost forgot since it's been so long since I've seen it... sweatdrop

Naruto is the typical hot blooded shounen hero with a tragic past. Sasuke is the generic angsty rival who's better than Naruto than everything with a tragic flaw with power to get revenge at a certain someone. Sakura is... Sakura. "SASKE KUUUUNNNN!" Other than the very little developement the characters go through, it's pretty generic. DBZ had more character developement than Naruto. Seriously.
