Hey, only moments ago I was a dazzling young woman. And now? Well...now I'm simply the sick twisted **** you've come to love without a grunny atop his head. Don't mind the username, or the fact that previously this account was being used for an angsty lesbian character. Stupid ragnarok online giving me baaaad influences. Anyhow, this is going to be the face of the new me. Seeing as I have a plethra of accounts and the grunny was getting annoying...yeah. Furthermore, you yourself Tegral stated that you wanted meh old avvie back. This is more or less my old avie. Except..Blue eyes. Blue eyes being the key signifer of good amognst my characters. WHY? Because I'm lazy, so red means evil and blue means good. So I'm going to play a good guy, and I'm going to march out and kill my bad guy, and it's going to be a lot like what Twilight does except with more hardcore moves, less auras, and a helluva lot more plotline. xd Kidding TJ, don't hurt me. sweatdrop

Woohoo, Kahlen is out and about. For anyone who cares/remembers he's currently wearing Haziel's armor. I'm basing it off this thing that the armor isn't really armor, but rather it was the body of the angel, since the angel was more of a wisp within it than anything.
Aaaaanyhow. The armor remains as a holy parasitic representation of goodness within someone. Therefore, it's essentially not haziel's at all, but rather a representation of the man's goodness. Just like in the bible, where you get the armor of god in a metaphorical sense, he gets it in the literal sense. I'll explain it all in the profile.

His faith isn't yet that strong. Right now it's all about faith, just as the armor's strength will leach from faith/ goodness. So if it's something he fears, like say rabid snakes, then the armor will shudder and decay at snakes, simply to fall away and have him bit. Unless of course he has a strong enough faith to keep the armor there, which is between him and god. Obviously some laws of physics are there, but there may be a day eons from now when he doesn't fear the power of a bomb, and thus they will not effect him, or rather, the armor will hold against it. I don't plan on letting him become that strong though. He's going to a character that actually has consequences from his tie with god.

In all seriousness, though. You know about my position regarding the whole religous tie in with characters. Sure, go ahead and worship god and use holy magics, but so long as you don't go and say this armor was personally forged by god himself to make me so powerful my belch can level an entire city!!
Then I slap you and ignore you for the rest of forever...

The armor was forged by god, as was the angel in it, as are all angels. Mind you in that belief system all things are forged by god, so the creator is of very little consequence. If you want to boil it down to the point where you can never destroy energy, then all things in existance are as strong as each other, since they can only be reduced to that form, which isn't being destroyed, but rather converted.
That aside, this armor is only going to give him the strength that his inside self would afford. This isn't a factual thing so much as metaphor. It's not that he'd have the strength to kill KB, but his wholesome passion to protect children and stop people who would harm them would give him an advantage over Kb. It's like he has a holy weapon against a demon, but to a man it is only a sword. If something comes along that he falls to, like say he's a hardcore gambler or drinker, he'll have no protection from those things. That is, UNLESS he stands before them in resistance. Like if he chose to stop drinking, and decided to keep to that, he wouldn't have to fear losing the armor in a tub of alcohol, but only the tmeptation to drink, in which case if he did, the armor goes poofty.
