yea i love watching typhoons from the safety of my room smile hearing the whoooooosh of the wind... seeing the spindly trees bend 45 degrees <.<
it's a good thing infrastructure here is good <.<
i would think that apartments are safer than houses... at least apartments are taller, and the foundations should be stronger! :O

Thanks. Gulf coast has it BAD!! You have hurricanes there and not too far away are tornadoes. -_-;
Side note: If academy starts while I'm away, I'll cry.

We just picked up another new person, and there was one who signed up right before I did, so I think there's four total.
Gotta go, it's starting to rain and I need to conserve battery power in my laptop.

Normally only get one ever 2 or 3 years unless your tip of Florida now they are the unlucky ones. >.> And generally its windy and alot of rain sometimes it floods a bit but we lived in a back bay area and get no flooding really at all were the house used to be. Occasional tornado in the hurricane if your on the wrong side. The stormy part gets hectic but it is cool when the eye goes over for that hour before it starts raining and blowing the crap out of you again. Only when big ones like Katrina hits. O_o now that was a monster. edit: Good luck Arisen

New Zealand has volcanoes and earthquakes...
But at the moment, only one volcano is active, and whats White Island, which is off the coast and not so dangerous except to the tourists...

We get typhoons and torrential rainstorms :O
Typhoons are epic to watch like i said, cleaning up the damage isn't cool though... i live near the harbour and once the sea washed up with so much force that it sent a butt load of rocks up like 3m to the promenade and ruined a lot of the plants and stuff. haha the damage seems so paltry!!! trees also get uprooted but it's mostly a pain in the a** to clean up. then you get the occasional guy who thinks it would be cool to go swimming in typhoon weather... >.>
oh yea, we also get landslides, but they're not that common and signs are everywhere, so yea.

Typhoons, My dad used to hunt hurricans and typhoons when he was an the Air Force. Loved telling me about this one typhoon that broke all their reading instruments going into Guame destroyed every building on the island. Never wanted to ever experience a typhoon after hearing that. >.> I do think it is a little silly since its really not much different then a hurricane just formed on the other side of the international date line but the descriptions he can give are enough to make me say you can keep them. sweatdrop

XD that sounds really cool.
I think it just all depends on infrastructure really. Hong Kong is relatively unaffected by typhoons, but places like Manila, typhoons rip it to pieces. It sucks since they get direct hits by typhoons like 3x every season.
I pretty much feel the same way about hurricanes and tornadoes razz I don't know how bad they are except for the worst most publicisd cases of course.

This is a test to see if I can post in the forums. Earlier today my computer glitched up. Now all the students in Konoha are far ahead of mine. That and I had to go check out different assisted living facilities for my father today. The doctors said that he will never be able to come home and that he is the way he is. Which sucks because he doesn't even remember who I am 95% of the time. The other five he gets aggravated with me because I'm supposed to help him escape the place hospital that he is in. Basically, if my father didn't have health problems, they would put him in a psychiatric facility. I'll post when I can, but don't count on me being on here too much.
