I'm wary of actually using KB's sword, not only because it's a katana... but because I haven't done any dueling RP with a sword in like, 5 years. Mostly just sword vs something-else, which isn't as much my specialty.

The best villain is the kind a reader can relate to. If I treat and write Roen as a monster, he becomes unapproachable, and I don't have the will or patience to write up horror stories and plot events just to have someone talk to him. I won't change him for the life of me - it's just too fun!

I still think Roen should have fought KB, after knocking out James. Then the Devil could do something nifty like disarm the vampire with absurdity.
Roen: "I destroyed Puerto Diablo and all that you love, KB, you really think a weakling like YOU can defeat ME?!"
KB: "GOOOHAAAAAAAANNN!"
Cue the overenthused karate chop actions in the air, and him just generally pretending he's fighting his archnemesis, anime-style.
