((...What? My character is chasing down her prey...))
The hunter raised his crossbow to fire again. Shinj'ak brought up a knife and threw it at him like lightning, hitting the string and snapping it. She jumped, her cloak ruffling out behind her as she raised the whip and bashed him against the wall, a loud thump reverberating throughout the building. She looked down at the man as he lay, stunned on the floor. She took out her shortsword and placed it on his neck as he started to stir again. In a moment she cut his throat, blood gushing out, he gurgled a cry, his suit stained before he died. She wiped the blood from her sword on his coat. "Time for me to collect my pay." She muttered.

Sighing softly, Fate began placing the sorted and folded clothes into their appropriate drawers. Hanging a nicer sweater in the closet, she sighed again. It's so quiet..bland..lonely. Turning, she took a glance at her clock; '10:23 PM'. The night hours would continue to creep by. This would probably be one of the longest she'd ever have to sit through.
Standing, Fate entered the living area. Opening that window, she exited onto her fire escape. Sitting solemnly, she folded her hands into her lap and watched the night unfold. How she wished to live like they lived..feel what they felt..

Cyrus appeared at her door and knocked on the frame. "Hi..." he says softly and sighs.

Fate gasped quietly, slowly turning her head. "What are you doing here?" She blinked, noticing the door. "Why did you open before you knocked? Isn't that considered a felony?"

"Only in the world of mortals...Forgive me though...." he says as he sighs and notices that she is looking much better. Then he sees something else. "Where's lover boy?" he asked, tilting his head to one side.

She grinned. "Ah yes, the mortals. Such arrogant folk." Standing and straightening her clothes, she steps inside. "..Silver? Probably at the Glacier..But I am not certain. Why do you ask, Zendale?" She motions for him to have a seat.

he walked to his room it had no windows and the only light source were candles the walls were black and bloody symbols were on the wall"This is just fine..."he walked to the middle of the dimly lit room and there was a bed he laid down and went to sleep

he arrived home he locked the door behind him he laid on his bed in the dim candle light he closed his eyes and fell asleep again

Cyrus stormed across the broken down door, tears in his eyes and sits down on the dusty, old couch. He gets up and kicks a rocking cahir in the corner and it shatters into many pieces. He slumps down in the corner and cries into his hands.

Shadow walks into the apartment and found Cyrus's scent. She goes to the room he is in and srops at the door. "Daddy?"

Cyrus looks up through his tears and sees Shadow. "Ge...t out of he...re" he stammers as he uses his hands and backs up as far away from her as he can go.
