Tenkyl just grins as the knife is held to his throat, a claw suddenly poking into the side of her neck. He pulls away slowly, bringing his paw up to wipe the blood away, then grooms the fur of his own blood. "Now that's better."

Sundrea paid no attention to the claw against her neck. She didn't like pulling a knife on anyone but she was glad the she hadn't fallen through. Usually the cut would have been deeper and more serious. Letting her knife slide back into her glove after he moved, Sundrea pushed herself to her feet. She looked at him, not knowing whether to apologize or not. Instead, she took herself down below again to busy herself with orginizing the already organized supplies.

Tenkyl continues grooming himself, then lets out a soft sigh once she had gone under the ship. He walks back to the helm and takes hold of the controls.

Since organizing was rather pointless, Sundrea took her bag into the small cabin, dropping onto the bed to sit. If she couldn't go through ship supplies, she'd go through personal ones. Pulling out her things, she began to pick through everything including weapons, jewels, slips of paper and more. It kept her mind busy and off other things.

Kanashimi Kurai Adrienne made her way to the gates of Latent, sniffing at the air in search of her master's scent. She was no equipped with a pack that held several days rations and water, as well as a few other necessities. Kaiser was at the gate talking to one of the guards when Adrienne found him. The guard looked displeased, and Kaiser had a big grin on his face, patting the man's shoulder. He turned to her and smiled, waving his hand - with a fat wad of cash in it.
"It looks like my luck's starting to turn around," he said, walking over to her. "The guards were playing some dice, so I figured I'd play a game or two with 'em." He then grinned, pulling his pair of magic dice out of his pocket, lowering his voice. "I switched the dice out. Sshh." He rose his voice back to a normal level again. "I think this might be enough to afford us a couple horses now," he said, winking at her.

Adrienna let out a soft hiss, quite pleased by the wad of cash that Kaiser was carrying. "Quite the gambler, aren't you massster?" Some horses would be nice, would certainly make the trip quicker compared to walking and if anything happened, they could always kill the horses and eat them.

After finding himself another couple of articals of clothing for the journey, the little hidden creature that had been following Adrienne and Kaiser through town, now waited at the gates for the two to be ready to leave.
The little thing would swear under his breath when he heard that they would be using horses, for it would make it a whole lot harder to follow them. He would need to be very careful not to fall behind.

Maximos He had to smile. Just ear to ear smile. Here he thought she would worry and perhaps even attack, or question the validity of the claim but she took it all with grace and and form like a true Lady. My that fate should have such a unique way of working, that he should stumble upon this...the perfect companion. A woman he could both admire and respect. He had been gifted in death with what he had never received in life. And before he could say a thing, or know a word, his hand was in hers. Latent, my I don’t think I know that name...is it a far walk? And they were gone! *The little red head appeared with her invisible companion on a busy market street, the wind swirling happily about the pair* Not far at all by the way I travel wink but it is not all that far from the stadium really... it was built shortly after the stadium was destroyed by Reiko and Kasuga sweatdrop *Raven let go of Maddick's hand and stepped over to a shop window, looking in at the clothes on display* some good coming out of so much destruction... just like a forest fire

Oh my...a Lady of many of talents...
Teleportation, he had seen it before, but he never expected...His thoughts were cut off as he saw the world around him. People, buildings, vehicles....nothing was the same as he remembered. It was...it was a whole new world out here. One would think he might be some sort of depressed but he was overwhelmed, exstatic even. Practically giddy!
Yes, yes I remember that day, I found myself stuck in an area of rubble unable to cross what used to be the stadium walls. But all I saw was forest...oh my...I never imagined...humanities resilience is amazing, is it not?
He rushed up beside Raven, taking in the store, the shops.
Oh my...Lady Raven this is the greatest gift you could have given me.

*Raven laughed softly and looked up at him over her shoulder* We could go down to the sea side, or up a little higher to get a good view of the city...
I'm not just a Raven by name dear wink *Whatever she meant by that Rave obviously meant to explain later as she started to head down the street, a small whirlwind centered around her keeping the people from bumping into her as she made her way towards the wharf* The world has changed a lot, but in some ways it never changes Maddick...

He of course followed, even if he lingered on he would be tugged eventually, but he followed willingly. The way she avoided the people, she must have been concerned for there safety. This woman...she honestly cared. Such a big heart...but then it must be big for her to be willing to let another in, just to save him.
Despite his smiling visage deep inside Maddick's burning rage had frozen into a solid block around his heart. He cared...as long as it was convenient. It was just instinct for him...but as he watched her, he could feel a tiny bit of that ice begin to melt and drain away, though he may not have known it.
Instincts told him that someone who was warm was weak, and those that were weak should be exploited...but he could not do that to her. Whats more he didnt want to...change was on the wind...on the outside he looked just as before, pleasant.
Whichever you think best m'Lady, this place...it yet still amazes me.
And they were off toward the wharf. The sweet smell of sea water and fish, the sight of peoples busy at work and play. And there she was...the ocean...he smirked, taking it in as a whole.
I suppose she never changes does she? The un-ending ocean...a beauty indeed...
There was a moment of silence where he just took in the scenery as a whole. The sight and sounds, and oh how very much he missed it all. And then he turned to Raven with a bit of a curious grin.
If I may be so forward as to ask Lady Raven, what did you mean by what you said earlier? Your name is quite eliquent, the title of a noble and beautiful creature much like yourself...does it hold more meaning?

oh yes dear*Rave stood at the end of a short dock, happily pulling the ocean winds in arround her, letting them tug at her long hair* I am not human... not in the least..
*She had an evil little smile on her face as the orange eyed, red headed woman suddenly disappeared and was replaced with a real Raven, feathers black as night and yet they shone with a hint of fire red and orange in the direct light. The Raven spread her wings and shook her feathers out a little before she mentally continued her conversation* A long time ago.. a raven fell from the sky, the bird was not old, nor was it young.. but it had been ill for a long time and could no longer manage the strength to navigate the air currents...
At the same time a being was banished from the heavens, sent to Gaia to live amongst the beings that she had chosen to side with*There was a slightly embarrassed tone to her voice* The fallen being chose the body of the falling raven to be her host on her earthly travels... She changed the bird slightly giving it the ability to take on other forms... eventually I found my way into the same body sweatdrop ... but that is a longer story*the wind ruffled her feathers as she looked out to the ocean* The point of my little tale dear Maddick, is that I am really a raven...
*She knew that he was a part of her, and so as she gave a little hop and pumped her wings to get off the dock Raven was hoping that she would mentally drag Maddick along with her. The water was a great place for thermal’s and it only took her a few moments of furious wing flapping to catch a hot rising wind that sent them soaring high into the sky as she slowly wheeled back towards the land to watch the town of Latent unfold beneath them* Looking like a human is all fine and dandy... but I just love to fly... blaugh

Maddick listened with untamed interest. His eyes and mind were focused, his ears intent. His hand rested gently on his smooth chin, gently rubbing it. He looked intently lost in the tail, which is not to say that he did not understand, but rather that it had stole his interest entirely. He had mixed feelings about the situation as a whole...could he help her, as she helped him? What was she thinking or feeling then about the new wieght he cast upon her shoulders. But his only voiced thought was a simple one.
Fate...truly much keep a watchful eye on you m'Lady Raven...a chance encounter at deaths door...a fortunate blessing with a being of such power...and now this...
As she bore herself on blackest wings Maddick followed, a spirit he was no bound to gravity and so floated beside her. His arms extended outwards. Though he was no bird, he could feel the rush of wind in her wings, the grace of her subtle movements, the utter bliss she felt from this simplest, and yet most gratifying pleasure. How we take for granted such simple pleasures...Maddick was given a chance to enrapture himself in one now. And to set aside the battle for survival.
He was speechless in the wake of this stunning joy. But slowly the worlds for his feelings came to him.
My Lady Raven...you never cease to amaze...please, if there is more to your tale I beseech you to tell. If not for the raw intrigue of your lifes story, at the very least to, grant me the simple pleasure of fully knowing the treasure who's company I have been granted.

Samantha and Kitty Faen appeared in a shower of sparkles on a quiet street in front of a library, Sam acted like nothing had happened, and Kitty might have noticed that only seconds had passed since they were in Barton. "Well, unfortunatly I have no idea where the tourney is supposed to be held... but down town is that way, and there is a buss stop a little further down the street from here."
