Hey everybody, I've played several woodwinds. However, I've played Clarinet the longest, I started back in middle school back in 1996'97 and kept playing since. I've played Alto Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, and Contra Bass Clarinet. I went to Mayfield High School, where I did march all four years on the clarinet and did concert band all four years on all clarinets and saxophone, all different ones.

ClarinetGoddess I've tried singing(sister took choir), dancing(she decided to take the class too), writing(now she is writing a "book"), going to college(now she wants to go), and drawing(she started drawing too.) So, all I have is band. She tried to take it away(though technically she had no choice) but failed miserably at the flute, so she gave up. Bwahaha, I win at soemthing! thats really cool though

Hey people! i have been playing the clarinet for at least...3 years 4 if you count this year. my band teacher in the 5th grade gave me the privilege of playing a bass clarinet. now tho, whenever i tell people i can play bass clarinet, they immediately ask me if i can play that permanently. Eventually i surrendered and i am now in the highest band in our school, playing the bass. I really miss my clarinet, but there is no turning back now. crying i tried playing my clarinet, but i can't play it anymore!!!! it's really sad, what should i do fellow clarinet lovers? (i am totally committed to my band and i would not give up the bass if it saved my life)

I have been playing the clarinet for about 5 years now. I'm an eighth grader at Costa Mesa High School, and this is my first year in a marching band, so... yeah. Clarinet OWNS.

Need help again. Almost every time I try to play an actual NOTE, I either wind up making this awful high-pitched squonk, or not being able to blow through the clarinet at all.
