Allen looked away from Lysandre to find an aide approaching.
"Nice to meet you." He gave the Aqua Captain an odd look, "You seem familiar."
"I get that a lot." He places a hat on his head.
"Well, anyway... Good Luck. Go Chesnaught!" The big Juggernaut Pokemon landed on the apparently very sturdy floor and gave a fierce roar.
"Impressive." Allen thought for a moment, "Ubella!" He called his Volcarona from her ball. "Bug Buzz!" The air around the two Pokemon vibrated violently, shaking the Chesnaught, forcing it back towards it's trainer.
As the vibrations came to a stop, the aide called out for the Chesnaught to use a Body Slam. The Pokemon ran forward, jumping out and tackling Ubella from the air, smashing her to the ground, red hot scales from her wings floated from her body, much like embers from a flame, rapidly scorched parts of the Chesnaught's shell and body. "Ubella! Heat Wave!" As the Chesnaught was right over her, a quick flap of her wings was all it took to send the foe flying through the air back to his trainer, fainted.
"That was a bit tougher than I thought it would be..." Allen commented as the aide chuckled and tossed out his next Pokemon, a Greninja.
"Greninja! Water Shuriken!" The opponent quickly gathered many spinning discs of condensed water to throw at Ubella. She was able to dodge around most of them, but one caught a wing and three more slammed into her chest. Effectively taking her out.
"Oh boy, come back Ubella. Fleur!" He called out his bloodthirsty Honedge with the Lucky Egg still dangling from her hilt.
"Bad move! Night Slash, Greninja!" The blue frog shifted in place and practically appeared in front of Fleur to bring it's front legs across her blade. She clattered back against the ground, hitting hard. After a moment she floated up again, but her blade was only just off the ground, "Again!" The aide called.
"Destiny Bond!" Allen called, Fleur placed herself in her sheath and started glow a bright white just as the Greninja brought the next attack across her. There was a loud clang as Fleur hit the ground again, fainted. The Greninja wavered in place before falling over with a faint white glow surrounding his body. "Return." Allen recalled the fainted Honedge as the aide returned his Pokemon.
"Delphox!" The last Pokemon came out, "Nice plan back there. But I sure hope you have something better planned this time." Allen nodded and called out his Kabutops.
"Ecralys, Aqua Jet!" A surge of water covered Ecrelys' body and he shot forward crashing at high speed into the foe Delphox, hitting at just the right angle for a critical hit.
"Quickly, Psychic!" The Delphox recovered, barely, and swung it's stick around in a large circle. Ecrelys could be seen stopping in place, being pulled into the air when an immense began crushing his body. He cried out, causing Allen to wince with every wail. And then fell to the ground.
"Are you alight?" The trainer called to his Pokemon, Ecrelys stood, glancing back and nodding, "One more Aqua Jet!" The Kabutops nodded and covered himself in a veil of water to fly in at the Delphox, knocking it back and out. Allen gave a sigh of relief that it was over before nodding to the aide and getting back to the group.

Seeing the battle rooms, Ace smirked. "Now this is more like it! So who will I be battling?"
"Now that would be me hon! You go first!"
A rather cheerful, woman probably around her late 30s came into view. Ace raised a brow before tossing the pokemon to the ground. You're up Amber!"
The turtle emerged from the pokeball before going into battle stance towards his trainer's opponent waiting for the pokemon.
"Oh my! The fur of the growlithe is strikingly beautiful! Why she is as healthy as a lamb." She enthusiastically complimented at the small dog. Amber turned away due to embarrassment before returning a rather small sheepish smile at the opponent. However, Ace was not amused as she narrowed her eyes with annoyance. "As much as I like that you're flattering her, can we get on with the battle?" Her tone getting a bit louder by the word.
"Oh hon, no need to be impatient. It's just great how well you're taking care of your pokemon. But I must have rattled off a bit." The aide then tossed a pokeball into the air. "Go, Froakie! Use Bubble !" A blue toad popped out of the pokeball and spray multiple bubbles at the fire pokemon. She leaped out of the way, hoping to dodge it, but some of the bubbles got to her, slowing her down.
Ace narrowed her eyes at the froakie before giving her pokemon a command.
"Amber, use bite!" The puppy began to dash towards her opponent and began to bit the side of the frog pokemon's body. The frog yelp in pain, but stood its ground. The aide continued.
"Bubble once more!"
"Use Bite again!"
The froakie blew a beam of bubbles at Amber, but in quick haste, she dodged and dash towards her opponent before biting it once more. The blue pokemon soon felt lighthearted before collapsing. Ace returned her pokemon while the aide does the same. "Not bad," the woman said, but how do you like this?
"Go Chespin!"
The Chespin emerged from the pokeball from the woman that tossed it. Ace then let out her zubat. "Stella, come on down! Use wing attack!" Stella dive towards the chespin, but narrowly misses. "Chespin, tackle the critter!" Before stella had a chance to soar up into the sky, she was tackled by the chespin, and tumbled through the ground. "Air cutter!" The zubat flapped up in the air before launching a razor-like wind against her opponent, directly striking it with the strong current. The chespin then fainted. The aide recalled her pokemon before sending out the last starter.
"Oh, you got lucky hon, but Fennekin will be a toughie for you!" Ace smirked as she returned her zubat and let out her squirtle. "Leon, I save the last for you, use watergun!" Leon glanced at his opponent for a moment before sending a burst of water directly at the fox-like pokemon, defeating it. After the aide returned her pokemon, she then congratulate her. "Well, hon, you got me there! Maybe you should try to collect all the badges and beat the elite four! They sure don't mind a strong challenger such as yourself!"
Ace blushes a bit, before responding, "I'll think about that."

( ~A Test Of Power, Dimitri Vs The Professor's Aide!~ )
"Well, I've never been any good at tests, but if it's a pokemon battle you want... be prepared to lose!" Dimitri replied in an anticipated tone once his Cranidos leaped out from his arms and landed onto the battlefield, anxiously hopping around along with headbutting the air, the hard-headed pokemon was prepared to demonstrate his strength.
"That's a rather peculiar pokemon... I haven't seen one of those around this region before." The professors aid replied in a surprised tone before she took a pokeball out from her lab coat and tossed it into the air, sending out a Fennekin. "Go Fennekin! Use Sunny!" Following it's trainers command, Fennekin used sunny day to change the weather climate to sunny skies, suddenly making the bright light of solar power of the sun shine into the room from outside, giving all fire pokemon a boost of fiery power.
"Don't let that tricky fox fool you! Go Hammerhead and use Head Smash!" Following his trainers command, Cranidos began to hastily charge at the Fennekin before he used Head Smash to slam his head into the fire fox pokemon's stomach, delivering a devastating full force headbutt, dealing a critical amount of damage that was more than enough to finish it off with a one hit K/O. Consquently, Cranidos suddenly collapsed from the recoil damage that was self-inflicted as a result of the Head Smash Attack.
"Fennekin..." The professors aid said to her fallen pokemon before she took a pokeball out from her lab coat and pointed it at her Fennekin, watching as a red beam of light engulfed Fennekin to return the fire fox pokemon back to it's pokeball. Following this, the professors aid took yet another pokeball out from her lab coat and tossed it into the air, sending out her secondary pokemon which was a Quilladin.
"Go Hammerhead! Use Fire Punch!" Following his trainers command, Cranidos awakened enough of his strength to stand and leaped out at the Quilladin, using Fire Punch to ignite his fist in flames before he punched the Quilladin across the face, dealing a great amount of damage
"Go Quilladin! Use Solar Beam!" Following it's trainers command, Quilladin let out a painful cry before it used Solar Beam to quickly charge up a beam of gathered sunlight from the solar rays that were shining into the room and subsequently fired the blast of gathered sunlight at the Cranidos, dealing a critical amount of damage upon impact, enough damage to finish him off with a one hit K/O.
"You fought well, Hammerhead... now get some rest, you've earned it." Dimitri said to his fallen pokemon before he took out a pokeball and pointed it at his Cranidos, watching as a red beam of light engulfed his Cranidos to return the fallen pokemon back to his pokeball. Following this, Dimitri's cyndaquil suddenly awoke from his slumber and jumped onto the battlefield, happily hopping as flames began to exert from his back. "Go Cyndaquil! Use Eruption!" Following his trainers command, Cyndaquil used Eruption to make several clumps of magma fall down onto the Quilladin from above, dealing a devastating amount of damage, enough damage to finish him off with a one hit K/O with the help of the power boost gained from the sunny day's effect, an effect that is still active.
"Quilladin..." The professors aid said to her fallen pokemon before she took a pokeball out from her lab coat and pointed it at her Quilladin, watching as a red beam of light engulfed her Quilladin to return the Spiny-Armored Pokémon back to it's pokeball. Following this, the professors aid took yet another pokeball out from her lab coat and tossed it into the air, sending out her third and final pokemon which was a Froakie. "Go Froakie! Use Rain Dance!" Following it's trainers command, Froakie used rain dance to change the weather climate from sunny to rainy, granting all water pokemon a boost of power.
"Go Cyndaquil! Use Wild Charge!" Following his trainers command, Cyndaquil began to rapidly charge at Froakie while he used wild charge to shroud himself in electricity, dealing a devastating amount of damage upon directly slamming into it. Consequently, Cyndaquil suddenly collapsed to his knees as a result of the self-inflicted damage dealt from the recoil of the Wild Charge Attack.
"Hang in there Froakie! And, Use Hydro Pump!" Following it's trainers command, Froakie let out a painful cry before it used Hydro Pump to fire a huge volume of water at the Cyndaquil, dealing a critical amount of damage upon impact, enough damage to finish him off with a one hit K/O.
"Cyndaquil, your battle was amazing for a first battle that is." Dimitri said to his fallen pokemon while he began to nervously rub the back of his head before he took out a pokeball and pointed it at his Cyndaquil, watching as a red beam of light engulfed his Cranidos to return the fallen pokemon back to his pokeball. Following this, Dimitri detached a pokeball from one of the holsters on his belt and tossed them into the air, sending out a Poochyena.
"Go Froakie! And, Use Water Pledge!" Following it's trainers command, Froakie used Water Pledge to fire a column/ pillar of water at Poochyena, dealing a great amount of damage upon impact.
"Goooooo! Shanks!, And, Thunder Fang!" Following his trainers command, Poochyena let out a painful growl and brushed off the pain from the watery attack. Shortly after, Poochyena began to charge at the Froakie, using Thunder Fang to electrify his fangs before he eventually bit the bubble frog pokémon with his electrified fangs, dealing a devastating amount of damage, enough damage to K/O the bubble frog pokemon.

"I'll be the one who tests you", a female aid stood in front of Yamato "Allow me to introduce you the Kalos starters. First is the grass type. Go, Chespin"
The Kalos Grass type Starter emerged from the Pokéball. Yamato picked up his Pokéball, too.
"So this is a Kalos Starter. If it's a Grass type, I'll use this guy. Go, Po"
The Pidgey flew on the air as they began the battle
"Chespin, use Pin Missile"
Chespin shot out a lot of needles from its sharp head at the bird. Po quickly dodged them, but couldn't dodge all of them.
"Now, use Rollout" the
The Chespin rolled into a ball and shot itself at Po. The bird was hit and seriously injured.
"Po, try an Ariel Ace"
The Pidgey got up and his beak glowed. He charged at the Chespin and hit it, knocking it out.
"Come back, Chespin. You're next, Froakie"
A blue frog appeared to the battlefield. Yamato returned his Pidgey and sent out another one
"Go, Dora"
The Aron appeared and readied for action.
"Dora, use Headbutt"
He charged at the Froakie with his head. The Water type endured the attack, then its Trainer commanded it to use a Bubblebeam. While it was still holding the Aron, it spilled out a lot of bubbles at him. It was a direct damage, but he was still standing thanks to his ability.
"Dora, use Headbutt"
The Aron jumped at his opponent again and knocked it out with another Headbutt
"Return, Froakie. Here is the last one. Go, Fennekin"
A red fox appeared, and Yamato returned his Pokémon and sent out another
"Go, Wani"
"Fennekin, use Ember"
The small fox shot out small fireballs at the crocodile
"Counter it with a Water Gun"
The water pillar extinguised all of them and hit the fox, knocking it out.
"Wow, that is easy"

*An assistant approaches me*
Me: Well, show me what you got.
LA: I'm pretty sure I should be saying that to you. Quilladin, go.
Me: Ghastly, go!
*My gaseous Pokémon faces the spiny armor ball*
Me: Curse.
*Ghastly greatly harms itself to bring a Curse on Quilladin*
LA: Interesting. Bite.
*Quilladin Bites Ghastly and KOs it, and then suffers from its Curse*
Me: Ghastly, return. Snorunt go.
*My icy ground mop appears*
Me: Ice Shard.
*Snorunt quickly attacks Quilladin, for good damage*
LA: Needle Arm.
*Quilladin bashes Snorunt hard with a thorned arm and then is KOed by the Curse*
LA: Frogadier, go.
*The ninja frog appears*
Me: Ice Shard
*Snorunt quickly attacks Frogadier, for minimal damage*
LA: Water Pulse.
*The pulse of water KOs Snorunt*
Me: Return, go Kadabra.
*The mustached shrew appears*
Me: Confusion.
*Kadabra warps time and space hurts Frogadier pretty badly*
LA: Lick.
*Frogadier licks Kadabra, paralyzing him*
Me: That's unfortunate. Confusion.
LA: Lick again.
*Frogadier takes advantage of Kadabra's paralysis, and critically Licks him, KOing him*
Me: That was no fun. Wartortle, take Kadabra's place.
*My eared turtle appears*
LA: Round.
*Frogadier lets out a big croak, hurting Wartortle*
Me: Mirror Coat.
*Frogadier is KOed as its croak comes back at it*
LA: Braixen, go.
*The fire fox appears*
LA: Psyshock.
*Wartortle isn't looking to good from its assault*
Me: Water gun.
*A powerful stream of water hits Braixen hard(
LA: Psyshock.
*The special attack on the physical takes Wartortle down*
Me: Return, Rhyhorn, go!
*My Rock bull comes out*
LA: Psybeam.
*A multi colored psychic beam hits Rhyhorn hard*
Me: Rock Throw.
*A single rock is thrown at Braixen and it is KOed*
Me: Power of a full party.

Reaper popped in with the rest of the group. "How did I do that?" He wondered before he noticed what was going on and seen an Aide of Sycamore's challenge him. "This should be easy. Some lab rats cant beat me." He said as the Aid sent out a Braixen. Reaper sent out his Combusken.
~Battle Start~
Braizen attacked with Round, dealing moderate to Combusken. Combusken attacked with Rock Slide, inflicting a high amount of damage. Combusken's Speed Boost activates, increasing his Speed a bit. Combusken(Speed+1) used Dig, hiding underground for a turn. Braixen tried to attack with Psybeam, but missed. Combusken's Speed rose due to Speed Boost. Combusken(Speed+2) attacked from underground with Dig, critically hitting and fainting Braixen. The Aide returned Braixen and sent out Greninja. Combusken's Speed rose with Speed Boost.
Combusken(Speed+3) attacked with Power-Up Punch, striking Greninja hard and raising his Attack. Greninja attacked with Water Pulse, dealing high damage to Combusken. Combusken's Speed rose from Speed Boost. Combusken(Atk+1, Speed+4) attacked with Reversal, dealing tremendous damage to Greninja. Greninja attacks with Surf, fainting Combusken. Reaper returned Combusken and sent out Staravia.
Greninja attacked with Hydro Pump, but missed. Staravia attacked with Aerial Ace, fainting Greninja. The Aide returned Greninja and sent out Chesnaught.
Staravia attacked with Brave Bird, dealing very high damage to Chesnaught but suffering moderate recoil damage. Chesnaught attacked with Take Down, dealing moderate damage to Staravia but suffering minor damage to recoil damage. Staravia attacked with Brave Bird again, fainting Chesnaught, but fainting itself in the process. Both trainers return their Pokemon to their Pokeballs, but the Aide has lost. The Aide steps back with the rest of the defeated Aides and Reaper hangs back with the rest of Aqua. "Too easy." He said.

Sycamore gave them all yet another of his charming smiles as they all defeated his assistants. "Perfect!"
Lysandre smirked. "I've seen what I need to see." He turned to Professor Sycamore. "I'll be taking my leave."
As he went to leave the room, he pressed a card into Maddy's hand.
"I hope you'll all come by to visit." He gave her a wink and was gone.
Maddy furrowed her eyebrows a little and gave the card a glance. It was a business card... for a cafe? She shrugged and pocketed it.
"So, tell us about Mega Evolution."
His eyes flashed a little. "We still don't know much about Mega Evolution, but we do know it's somehow connected to these special stones."
He took a wooden box off of his desk and opened it, showing them the contents. The box was filled with stones, all of either a red, blue, or green hue. In the center of each stone was an image that resembled a DNA strand.
"Wow. You have a lot of those."
"We believe that Mega Evolution is tied directly to a trainers bond with their Pokemon. The stones in this box should hold the key to assisting the Pokemon Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur Mega Evolve. At this time, Charizard has two different stones."
"I assume not all Pokemon that can Mega Evolve have been discovered, yet?"
He shook his head. "We don't think so. We're finding new stones everyday." He let out a sigh. "However, we feel like there may be a missing piece of this puzzle. The stones on their own don't seem to do the trick."
He held the box out to them all. "We would like you all to take a stone of your choice, for now. When we find the missing piece to this Mega Evolution puzzle, you will be the first ones to be informed."
Maddy smirked. "Awesome!" She picked up one of the red-colored stones.
[Choose a Mega Stone. You can pick either Charizardite X or Y, Venusaurite, or Blastoisite. You are not able to Mega Evolve any Pokemon at this time, though.]

Reaper looked at all the stones for Mega Evolution. He stepped back and let everyone else grab one since he wasn't really interested in Mega Evolution. "You guys are powerful enough. We don't need special items to make you any stronger." He said as his Pokeballs all wobbled back and forth once, as if nodding. He chuckled and put his Pokeballs back on his belt.

Allen steps over to the box, looking in to see all of the colorful stones, "Perhaps..." He reached in to grab a like blue stone with a darker blue and black DNA strand core. He looked up to see one of the aides looking at him.
"That's a Charizardite X, it matches with Charizard." He tells Allen.
"As the name would suggest." Allen mutters, holding the stone up close to study the multitude of colors the flow through the stone at different angles in the light.

Misery looks at the Mega Stones. "(I uhhhh... I;m not sure what to pick....)" She stares at them before choosing Venusaurite. "(Dark could use another grass type.)"

"Charizard use two stones? Does that mean he can have two different mega-evo forms? Do you know why Charizard has two?" Dimitri asked in a curious tone. Shortly after, Dimitri smirked while he grabbed a mega-stone from within the box that had a resemblance to the Charizardnite X mega-stone. "Thank You! This is a very generous gift!" Dimitri said in a grateful tone and began to admire the mega-stone, the stone was like nothing that he had ever seen in the past. Immediately after he had thoroughly admired every aspect of the stone, Dimitri placed the mega-stone inside of one of the pockets of his backpack. "I doubt it would make a difference in my teammates strength, but I bet I could trade it for something worthwhile." Dimitri thought to himself as a devious grin crossed his face.

Sycamore reached out to shake Maddy's hand.
"It was a pleasure meeting you all. I will be sure to keep in touch."
Maddy gladly shook his hand. "It was a pleasure meeting you as well. We're happy to help out."
"Before you go..." He picked up a silver case and opened it, revealing a bunch of Pokeballs. "I have a bunch of extra Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur if anyone wants one. It could go with your new Mega Stones."
"Geez. You're pretty generous tonight."
She picked up a Pokeball containing a Charmander for herself. She turned to her companions.
"I have somewhere I need to be. Pick a Kanto starter, if you'd like."
She turned to Sycamore.
"Thank you. I look forward to working with you some more."
He flashed her another of his smiles.
With that, Maddy rushed out.
