The little Lunora looked up at Demetri, sniffling a little. "But sometimes we didn't have food. Or we didn't have a place to stay. And when that happened, he would talk to me. He wouldn't tell me anything!" the child said, starting to cry.
Luke, quite enjoying himself, couldn't help but start to drift off to sleep. Soon he was sound asleep, having sweet dreams.
Sora held Ghost in his arms as she randomly hugged him. He smiled and kissed her cheek, hugging her back and twirling with her a bit.
"Well where do you want to go?"

Demetri tentatively put his arms around Lunora, hugging her. "He just didn't want to scare you. He thought if he told you too much, you'd grow up too fast and never get to enjoy being a little girl," he whispered, though he really had no idea what had gone through Luke's head back then. Crying had never been his strong point. Usually, if one of the kids was crying, they'd curl up in their mother's lap and cry into her tail. But in this case, he was the only one around, except Luke, who Lunora as a child would know.
Kaya watched as the wolf fell asleep. Her stomach growled in protest at her having skipped a meal to play with her animal friends, and she bit her lip. She was starving, but she didn't want to leave the wolf there alone. So, she gently shifted her arms under the creature and lifted him up. She quickly made it to her room, where food had been dropped over at her earlier request. She set the wolf down on the foot of her bed, going to sit down at her small table and eat while a few of the cheetah cubs crawled curiously around the sleeping wolf, not touching him.
Ghost laughed a little as Sora twirled her, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing his cheek. "The castle is oddly quiet today, isn't it? It seems most everyone is tuckered out from last night," she said with another laugh.
Razz looked down one hall, then another. "Since the gardens are that way, it'd make sense if the groundskeeper's quarters are that way, too," he said, pointing in the way opposite of the medical wing.

Lunora hugged the wizard, sobbing some more. But she calmed down to sniffles, wiping her eyes on her sleeves. "I... I guess so.... Demi? Will you be my friend?" the child asked, looking up at the wizard with those pitiful puppy dog eyes.
Luke didn't seemed to stir significantly, nestling into Kaya's bed as she went to eat. His nose twitched softly, smelling the cubs circling him, but it didn't seem to remove him from his dreams.
Sora nodded some, smiling still. "Leaving us to enjoy our lovely night together."
"Then let's go! Before they start their rounds!"

Demetri smiled some at the little girl and nodded. "I'd love to be your friend, Luna."
Kaya gave the scraps from her dinner to her wild dogs and a python that was curled around her chair legs. Then, she got up and sat on her bed, petting the sleeping wolf gently as one of the cubs curled up to the fluffy tail of the visiting wolf.
Ghost smiled back at Sora and nodded. "I truthfully can't remember half the dance because you were there distracting me."
Razz nodded to Yumi and began to push the dragon's head quickly down the hall towards the rooms. He bit his lip, trying to ponder what to do from there. finally, he nodded to Yumi. "I'm going to light this in a moment. Go knock on all the doors, then run into the gardens. I'll run out through the front and meet you."

Lunora smiled and hugged Demetri, dropping her ball. "Thank you Demi-chan."
Luke stirred once more as the petting resumed and something curled up against his tail. The bushy appendage coiled around the cub, keeping the young one nice and warm as the wolf yawned softly, staying asleep.
Sora laughed some. "Should I reteach you the dance, or just twirl you around in circles?"
Yumi nodded and did as instructed, knocking on all the doors of the groundskeepers before fleeing into the gardens.

Demetri smiled softly and stood, ruffling Lunora's hair. "C'mon, let's play catch," he suggested, kneeling down and collecting her ball.
Kaya smiled as the wolf's tail curled around the cheetah, and she continued to pet him as the rest of the cubs hopped up and curled against him and into her lap.
Ghost rolled her eyes and flicked Sora lightly in the forehead. "No matter what you do, you'll be there to distract me so what's the point in trying otherwise?" she pointed out.
As soon as Yumi was at a safe distance, and all the groundskeepers had opened their doors and were beginning to stick their heads out, Razz lit the fireworks. The sparks began to flare, and he ran for it, leaving to the sounds of frightened screams and shouts.

Lunora smiled, laughing as he ruffled her hair. "Okay, Demi-chan!" she said with a bright smile.
The wolf stirred some, shifting a little, feeling the other cubs cuddle up or warmth in his fur. He yawned a little, cracking one eye open to look at all the cubs.
Sora flinched a little at the flick, but smiled. "It''s not my fault you can't think about anything except me." he said, nibbling on her neck softly.
Yumi laughed softly, hearing the groundskeepers be scared out of their wits. What a lovely prank!!

Demetri smiled a little, though if anyone had looked closely they'd see his eye twitch from his overused nickname. He tossed the ball from hand to hand then backed up a few paces before gently tossing the ball to Lunora.
Kaya continued to pet the wolf and the varying cubs, zoning out as she stared at the door of her room.
Ghost squirmed in her husband's arms, a smirk coming across her face. "Well it's certainly your fault that I can't seem to escape you long enough to think of anything else," she teased back.
Razz caught sight of Yumi laughing, and he looked over his shoulder as he continued to run, chuckling himself. However, he'd miscalculated how fast he'd reach the princess, and before he knew it, he'd toppled over her, squashing her into the ground.

Lunora caught the ball, tossing it back to the wizard, laughing and giggling happily as someone played with her.
Luke glanced up at Kaya, seeing she was zoned out so he just went back to sleep.
Sora laughed softly, keeping a good grip on her. "And does it look like I care?"
Yumi was about to say something when Razz ran right into her and squashed her. She groaned a little before looking to see Razz right on top of her. "Razz. You're squashing me."

Demetri smiled as Lunora's mood changed back to happy-go-lucky and he continued to play with her, making it a little harder to see how she did.
Kaya leaned back against her pillows, starting to feel sleepy now that she had a full stomach. She continued to pet the animals around her, but she started to fall asleep, her hand slowing and her eyes closing.
Ghost continued to squirm, but less now, as though she'd accepted defeat. "Not at all," she responded.
Razz pushed himself up so that he was hovering over Yumi and he glanced over her, looking for blood or broken bones. "Sorry," he said sheepishly. "You okay?"

Lunora kept up, as if not even noticing the difficulty change.
Luke opened his eyes again, feeling her hand stop. It seemed she was tired. The wolf got up, moving the cubs up closer to her before pulling a blanket over her and nestling up against her side.
Sora smiled and gave her a sweet, loving, but still playful kiss.
Yumi nodded some. "Yeah. I'm fine. I think I bit my tongue though..."

Demetri tilted his head a little, but said nothing. He took a couple of steps back and started to throw a little faster and a little harder, again increasing the difficulty.
Kaya didn't stir in her sleep as the cubs were pushed against, nor when a blanket was pulled over her. But when the wolf nestled against her, she smiled a little in her sleep and moved her hand to rest on his fur in her sleep.
Ghost kissed Sora back, her hand running down from his neck down his chest. Then, she reached his side and tickled him, pulling back with a smirk.
Razz sat up and pulled Yumi up, too. Then he gently pulled on her chin and looked inside her mouth. "Well, it doesn't look serious."

Lunora still kept up rather effortlessly. She was still playing, unaware of the test Demetri was trying her.
Luke murred softly and licked her hand before going back to sleep.
Sora started to laugh as Ghost tickled him. "H-Hey! N-Not fair!" he laughed.
Yumi blushed a little when Razz opened her mouth to look at her tongue. "O-Of course it's not serious..."

Demetri continued to try and increase the challenge. He was rather impressed by Lunora, even in her child form. He didn't want to press too hard, though, knowing just how powerful she could be.
Kaya fell into dreams of her home village, and the journey that brought her to becoming a teacher at the school of Mesilici.
Ghost chuckled evily and continued to tickle Sora. "All's fair in love and war."
Razz laughed a little at Yumi's stutter and kissed her cheek. "I had to make sure."

Lunora soon had to stop, very tired and in need of some water.
Luke woke after some time and had to leave the warmth of Kaya's bed. Maybe he could ask her out some time. He carefully got off the bed and started to the door.
Sora continued to laugh as he was tickled, but soon fighting back and pinning Ghost on the bed.
Yumi blushed more and snuffed some, being stubborn.
