She shakes her head. "I huwrt the widdle guy, He had a bigggg bump on his heawd."
If she could shrink she would. Every line of her body show signs of dejection. She looks up at him and there are tears in her eyes, "Big Mama says I gots a wot of wearnin to do... buff I no know wuff to wearn."

Smiling, Kero picks her back into his arms, and sets her over his lap, gently rubbing her back and relaxing her so she will have an easier time listening to what he is saying.
"Luna, sweetie, Listen to me. You didn't truly hurt anyone. Yes, you gave the little man a bump, but you were just defending your territory. He was wrong to touch your box, and he got in a lot of trouble for doing so. Trust me, Luna. You are not a bad girl. Perhaps you're a little naughty sometimes, but then so is everybody else. I was naughty when I was your age, and so was Mommy. Nimbu will be too, when he gets old enough."

"Den why Big Mama noff tawk to me no more?" she begs to know, not realizing that Lunaria is a rather fickle deity who waxes and wanes with the cycles of the moon. Being able to talk to the goddess since her arrival to the realm is a rather new thing for her and a big one, something she doesn't want to give up or surrender. It might only have been an experience, with no physical value only emotional, but like all dragons, she's a hoarder who doesn't want to give up anything she's gathered.

Cuddling his daughter, Kero hugs her, trying to explain to her how Big Mama waxes and wanes, sometimes paying attention, sometimes not.

"Well..." says Kero with a twist of a smile. "That is what happens when you are an avatar to a goddess who is connected to the light of the moon. Anymore questions?"
"Wuffs a avataw?" she asks with a puzzled frown.

Smiling, Kero gathers his daughter into his tentacles, gently tickling her with them before setting her back in his arms.
"Well, if you weren't connected, you wouldn't have been able to help Nimbus, you know. You did a wonderful thing there, Luna. A most wonderful thing."

Luna closes her eyes and snuggles close in his arms, nudging his hand with her head, trying to get him to scratch her horn buds which itch something terrible. "Daddy, is Nimbu gonna be awight? Big Mama stiwl a bit mad ats me for dat."

Smiling, Kero scratches her itching buds, patting her head and rubbing her noggin.
"Nimbus will be fine, my night dark little flyer. You did a wonderful thing for me and for him that day. And for Mommy as well, too. Big Mama was right to be mad...you did something very very dangerous, but she won't take Nimbu away from us."

She closes her eyes with a contented sigh and begins to nod off until Daddy mentions she needs to go to school.
"Skool... wuff's dat?" she demands to know.
"School is a place where you learn things, like how to read and stuff like that." says Kero with a knowing smile.
Now that has Luna's full attention. "I go skool now." she demands, jumping down to the floor and taking a waiting stance.
