Now that Amnity was gone, Mephlius wasn't afraid to sing.
"Well I stumbled and I am all drunk and full of smoke
my wife said I have had enough, thats it, I'm sick, get out!
so I stumbled down to Kellys pub across the edge of town
and I told the boys me story and we had another round!"

Amnity came into the room right when Mephlius began singing. She looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Oh my..." she said in fake surprise after he finished the sing.

Mephlius had been singing with his eyes closed. When he finished and opened his eyes, Amnity was right there. "Aah! When did you get here?"

Amnity shrugged, sitting down next to him. "...I live here obviously...And I was behind you the entire time though I suppose you didn't notice." she said half jokingly. "...So what are we doing now?..." she asked him, taking off her hat and set it on the table.

Amnity grimaced, grabbing a bottle of vodka out of the bag. "The vodka..." she popped the cork, "...Is mine." She chugged it down. That's right...Drown your misery... Shut up!!! This wasn't healthy...She new it....Another voice had come to her mind. It wasn't kind... Nor was it hers.

Jacob tossed away the bottle, and thought to himself. He was barely buzzed, but Meph had a point. "Well, no harm in stopping early." Jacob said, getting ready to sing.

Amnity pouted. "Aww...Alright..." she frowned, setting down the bottle. She looked at Mephlius...He was so kind...Handsome...Perfect... Amnity's breathe quickened, her heart was louder than Jacob's song, she grimaced. And absolutely so far away from my league... Amnity couldn't stand it any more. She stood up and looked at Mephlius. "...May I speak with you...In private?.."

Mephlius looked at her. "Why? Is something the matter?" Then he saw the box. "Think about that answer for a second..." He picked up the small box, and examined it.
