Rather than try to open the door the normal way, Sanvi stepped back and kicked the door hard, knocking it off its hinges. "There you go," she said.

"Gem?" Sanvi asked then looked upwards. "Oh, that thing? Yeah, I'll try," she said. She leaped upwards and smashed the gem with her fist.

The gem slowly cracked and then shattered.
The door creaked open.
"There we go," Garin said, and pushed it open.

"Good job," Aquaria said to both of them. She and Sanvi peered around Garin's shoulders to look inside the room.

Garin walked inside the dark room.
There were many sleeves, all filled with books and files.

Sanvi walked to a shelf in the back of the room, looking not for Garin's past, but for information on lightsstones.

Garin skimmed the labels on the files. "What is my father's name...?" he murmured to himself.

Aquaria and Sanvi couldn't help him there. They looked for any books that were labeled "lightsstones" or "Garin Ossilin."

Garin pulled out some books and began to read through them. "I think I found something on lightsstones," he announced to them.

Sanvi was at his side in an instant, with Aquaria soon after. "What's it say?" Aquaria asked. She prayed that it wouldn't be too gory or violent and wouldn't upset him.
