((Wait...how does Jad know what she's thinking? Did he just develop mind-reading abilities out of nowhere? xd Did Jad just become even more of a freaky-alien-thing than before? As if THAT'S possible...XD ))


Vexis was just trying to keep her 'cool' now, as if she ever had a 'cool' in the first place. Not only was she stuck here with a group of ships all owned by this Jad dude -which she loathed already-, but now the trigger of her paranoia -robots- was all around her. Why wasn't she living on a medieval planet like Eseptos? They wouldn't have all these freaking robots (Nor would they have Jad there, lucky people.)! " 'Dr. Len'? Is he the owner of that tall, red and gold robot? The one that can use Novias energy and duplicate itself...?" She asked, remembering how Rosa used that massive attack to destroy that mutant...and part of the planet. It all sent shivers down her spine, just the very concept of such a thing. So powerful, and so unpredictable.

Kira's spirit stopped in her tracks, she gracefully hovered over the ground, wings gently beating. She stared up at the sky, something was falling from space. It was an object....no, it was a bit too small and oddly shaped to really be anything she could think of. But then, something occurred to her, and she rushed back towards where she left her body last.


((I gtg for a bit, be back later guys. 3nodding ))

"No.. doctor len owns two schoolgirls and a little boy... as well as a psychopathic schizophrenic little transforming monster that should be smashed with a hammer." Jad replied, "I've got no idea what Novias energy is... is it anything like Celestial Energy?" cake had materialized into his hands, and it was almost gone. (Black forest cake... yum.)

(Jad assumes things... she's gazing at the Atlantis, and she doesn't want to be here... 2+2=fish.)

"Great, you're awake," Devvri said, gently letting Kira onto her own feet. They had stopped some distance from the village, but from the light show being displayed, the female knight was not confident of the outcome.

"We need to flee... but what is Rosa, exactly? And if your friend Maggie is in that village... it could explain the force trying to attack us so suddenly. And it's big. At first, neither Keth nor I could discern any rational reason for such a drastic charge. We can't hold the village, but it will not be easily taken, either...."

Devvri brooded over this development for a moment. And still awaiting an answer.

Marth looked from the window he had been leaning on, to Vexis. "I never got to thank you. So. Thank you."

Was all he said.

Devvri sighed. "We can, but we'd probably die. You, especially. They'd--wait."

The female knight seemed to ponder something, now. "You," she murmured, more to herself now, "you're human, you're an unknown. They would arrest you for traversing here. You'd be sent to the capital of the Empire, after about six months in a rotting prison. Whenever a shuttle has room, really. Then another four months aboard a ship you'll likely die on. They capture you, you're dead. A whole city of technology, willing to wipe this planet out."

It was almost inane, just because Devvri was talking fast and to herself.

"Keth knows what he's doing. But... Maggie... is Eseptian? That's strange. I don't know of any who left to become outsiders. That's certainly not her real name, certainly not...."

A more local explosion interrupted Devvri's thinking processes. "We're in danger," she said reflexively, attempting to guide Kira away. "It should be me in there, not Keth. He hasn't had a chance to practice his backhanded strokes... and we can hole up in the woods. Shelter from the mortars. Did you know, most of the human population here is well into the industrial era? But the natives are clearly medieval. And then, the mecca cities are post-modern, but dwindling in resources and population...."

This was a bit hazy. It seemed that there were voices further ahead, from the village. Chasing them down, it seemed.

Back in the village, a hooded Eseptian was carrying Maggie. He was surrounded by humans wielding energy weapons. Rifles, blades, shields. The ground was littered with human strewn with arrows, and Eseptian children wearing ghastly burns. Not dead, of course. But suffering intensely as the humans saw fit to allow them to die.

Tortuously.
