Doesn't the tail blade count as a mundane weapon anyway? It's just a bladed glove for the end of his tail. Hell, he could tie a dagger to his tail to generate the same effect.

I feel like Omi versus Deitric IC played out a lot like a League of Legends game that time. Someone casts ignite on their opponent when they have low health, it's so cl-
[CLEANSE]
Then the guy who cast Ignite rage-quits. I HATE FIGHTS LIKE THAT.

Again, it's the intimidation factor. A specifically designed and tailored weapon has more of a chance of winning a battle than a impromptu weapon, even if they're both more-or-less the same.

Sey Oh man. Power naps need to give more power. Sleeping more than you should per day makes you groggy. I thought all white mages knew this.

Ah, but aren't impromptu weapons more likely to win a fight because the enemy's less likely to expect its dangerous qualities?

People pay more attention to the great Master Sword than the shield that's bashing their face in. I want people to see the tail blade, dread it, and be unprepared for the countless other things I've up my sleeves.

So, do you want to get that sword back now or should I go play some vidya games?

No see, I get the intimidation factor no sweat, but if they know something's dangerous, they prepare for it, try to counter it, and do their best to get it out of the situation. Where as an improvised or odd weapon that doesn't seem so dangerous, they may not try as hard with, which usually leads to better results.
Sure, it'll only lead to better results the one time until they go "holy s**t that hurt," but if you're doing it right, that's all you need to lay the asswhooping.

It's actually just really sour for a tournament host to take a character's weapon and not give it back, unless its for a round where something like "no weapons" is a modifier.
I think if you're gonna pull a d**k move like that, the least you can do is let the competitor augment their equipment layout with a couple of mundane choices. It's not like Roen is going to pull out a +5 vorpal tail blade.

Cause people don't take it seriously.

I would go "WATCH OUT, HE'S A LIAR-" but Vintrict made good by giving me a sprite position on the character select, so I'll let it slide.
..for now.

I would have appreciated it if you did it after the first round; but I'll make due. I haven't cut someone with a sword since I fought Tenkai in the preliminaries of Heaven Or Hell, and that was almost two years ago.

I haven't cut someone with a sword since I fought Tenkai in the preliminaries of Heaven Or Hell, and that was almost two years ago. When Roen returns to his hotel room, he'll find his sword sitting there safely on his bed. Cause I don't want you having to go through a fight without a prized weapon. Plus, our plot is lenient. She just wants Roen to stop acting like he's human.
