Devils don't really go around destroying the world. Devils typically enjoy souls, and souls need to be extracted or caught on a more manageable level. Destroying a whole city ( let alone a world ) is like ripping open a big bag of seed in the middle of a field. The crows are going to flock down and take a sizable portion of your winnings.

That's why destruction is left to demons, and manipulation to devils. There's no way that an infernal is going to work for the god of the dead, because, that means giving souls and power to someone other than themselves. In the Abyss ( or Hell ) everything is ruled by devils or demons, so they constantly backstab one another and play political games. The only thing they unite against is Heaven ( or Celestia, or ******** ) and then only when it best suits them, or however best suits them.

If Roen really wanted to unlock his inner devil, he wouldn't go chill with the greek god of death, he'd go to hell and forge an empire. Then, thousands of years later, he'd have amassed enough power to try and take out the big wig and then hold control for an indefinite amount of time.

That's why you can't play a higher-tier devil in the material world. All the devils and demons of consequence are in their fortresses in hell, trying to suppress coups. If they left for the mortal realm for even a day their entire life would go to ruin because everyone would work to unseat them.

But I digress.

There's so little use in destroying the world, or wiping out a race. It is far more of a wondrous thing to see humanity wholly embracing their natures and accepting change. Then, and only then-

But yeah, not all animu does demons/devils bad. The God Hand are some of my favorite horrors of all time, for they are perfectly inhuman and terrifying.

Anyways... other things to do than discuss the politics of other people's characters.

I'll find someone to bring him back then. If he swears loyalty to Roen, he can stay alive. If not, I'm calling the maid again for a second helping.

Roen doesn't even understand his nature of a devil. I could easily just tell him that being devil means wearing a tutu and he'll probably believe me due to how out-of-tune he is with his heritage.
