xd It's moments like this when I realize just how hard my Japanese sucks. *Resigns himself to having to buy some flash cards and re-learn a few hundred kanji.*

Ahahaha, new donation items.
Silver needs to get that shark plate thing on the chest. Then he can do his red ranger look, only with a funny looking chest piece armour thing like in those oldschool power rangers shows.

Yeah. I was disapointed when I was told it's all in japanese and that there haven't been translations made. I'm not really big on asian culture or anything, especially the hype of westerners trying to get into it, but I do appreciate some of the shows and styles. Though on that note the average anime pales in comparison to stuff like Marvel or DC, which would dominate the field if they widened their borders.
I guess I'm one of those 'I'll take my zweihander over your katana any day.' kind of people who prefer european thinking.

*shudders*
Torrents have given me bad experiences before. If I REALLY get desperate to watch it, I'll just deal with Youtube.

I have one of those weird shop comps that can withstand pretty much any pr0n you throw at it, much less any other virus, yet magically explodes the moment your friend logs onto elfwood. Made getting torrents for anime not too big of a deal really.
Damnit, I want Hellsing back. <3

[ KB ] Yeah. I was disapointed when I was told it's all in japanese and that there haven't been translations made. They're working on it... but taking their time. http://mirrormoon.org/[ KB ] Though on that note the average anime pales in comparison to stuff like Marvel or DC, which would dominate the field if they widened their borders. I never got into Marvel. Just didn't do it for me. Superheros? Bah, I don't like superheros. It's few and far between to find a comic about a normal person in extraordinary circumstances, or about an extraordinary person in normal circumstances. "Super men for super situations" gets boring. 's why I like anime. Sometimes they do have the whole "hey, super power people fighting", but a lot of time they have it being a normal person trying to cope around super people, or a super person with a bunch of normal people making things unnecessarily difficult. Though that's probably because Marvel doesn't do comedy. [ KB ] I guess I'm one of those 'I'll take my zweihander over your katana any day.' kind of people who prefer european thinking. @ Ryugi: I didn't use torrents for a long time. Then I had to get it to get something specific I wanted. I got used to it, now I use it all the time.

I just buy anime box sets for ten dollars or so at the asian video stores down in the chinese district of the city.
And sure Marvel does comedy. Deadpool for all.

Kraun down in the chinese district of the city. Insider trading. *Fistshake.* edit: I'd probably do that... except I pay for nothing. Ten bucks is too much when I could get it for free. pirate

Actually, my friend has a cousin that works for this import company. He can get a shitload of stuff for WHOLESALE price. Much cheaper. Heh, and one of my other friends has connections with someone with Bandai, so he gets stuff for cheap too.
I'm telling ya man, connections.

Troy, you've lost your rights to speak in this conversation.
The next thing you say had better be an answer to one of these questions:
1. Why would you ever want that? 2. Why would you ever admit to wanting that?

1. I didn't, my friend did...and unfortunately it was my turn to download an anime from our group of friends.
2. I wasn't admitting that I wanted it. I was just using it to show that we have downloaded so much anime, that we were running out of actually GOOD things to download.
By GOOD, I mean awesome animes that we actually know about.
Thankfully PPGZ is off our list now...and Im not the next person in the cycle.
Note: I also downloaded Dai Mahou Touge at the same time, which is funny so it compensates a little bit. Rule of thumb, animes with "Mahou" in them are generally funny.

We agreed not to.
Not because its not cool, but because it takes up to much time to download, and to much space to hold.

I accept this answer.
I also just got BAD END in F/SN by misreading one of the options it gave me. I ended up dismissing Saber and getting ambushed by Berserker in an alley. There was very little I could actually translate, but the parts I could boiled down to:
"oh s**t, it hurts like burning" [ cue several savage beatings ] (literally) "But I didn't die." [ cue another beating, then an evil little girl speech about violence ] (literally) "But death wouldn't come." BAD END.
I think I lolled. *reload*
