Go outside, in this neighborhood, after dark, to walk to the nearest place to get food, as a female, by herself?
Good way to get raped.

The thing that really sucks about my housing situation is I'm not able to leave the house at night, and not able to go very far by myself durring the day. My mom keeps putting off taking me to get my driver's permit. I was supposed to get it last year.
I'm kind of trapped here. And it's really bad when the smell of bug spray from the kitchen is so strong you can smell it from my room in the attic. I don't think anything in the kitchen is safe to eat or eat off of since she took care of it.
and most of the bugs still aren't dead -_-

Kimini As, I said, my house is a disgrace. I haven't even looked at it since a day or two after Housing came out. Isn't that pathetic? I put up wallpaper and carpet, then decided "eh, this is no fun" and sold them off instead. *lol* I seriously need to redec--- no, DECORATE. Is there a Gaia HomeSim somewhere? If not, there should be. *nodnod*
The baby is doing great. He's reaching out and grabbing things now, a little bit. He'll sometimes shove a chubby little finger under the gap between my keyboard and desk, and the other night he flipped my plate of fried rice right off the table, into my lap and onto the floor. He was very interested in that. He seemed a little surprised. I had friends that had been highly anticipating the release of homes and their enthusiasm kinda spilled over, that's why my house is all decorated. *giggles* Other wise I probably would have done about the same thing.
*laughs* that's so CUTE! Just wait until he starts pushing the buttons. My daughter will climb up in my lap and tell me "push bu'on" and proceed to "help" me type. One of my friends took the time to point out to me that messes are just "baby science" they're not trying to make messed and that's how they learn about the world around them. But sometimes as the parent it sure seems like messes. 4laugh Kimini My baby has teeth! cry gonk crying
The two bottom middle teeth are coming in. They're not fully in yet, but you can see them and feel them breaking the surface.
I'm not so sure I'm happy about this. He's only four months old!! *wail* *hands Kimi baby orajel, and teething rings* my daughter did pretty well during the day, but we used a fair amount of the night-time baby orajel. I don't remember exactly how old she was when she got her first teeth in, but I do remember how much fun it was nursing that first little while... The thing that my mom suggested was just to say "ouch" when I was bit... my daughter figured out that she was hurting Mommy and I dindn't have too many problems.Kimini *hugs all around* Thanks for the sympathy. Babies can get their first teeth anywhere from 3 to 8 months, give or take. He has been pretty cranky (for him) this week... I guess I've just been in denial. No major issues though, so hopefully teething won't be too nasty overall. *hugs*

Unknown Variable Edit: Middy: Let me show you via example: Father: "Get off that damn game on that computer." Me: "I'm making a spreadsheet for school. It's not a game; I have to do this." Father: "That's bullshit. You're playing a game." Me: *wtf? o_O* I can't move out yet. But I desperately need to. *hugs* I had a lot of issues with my dad growing up, but thankfully my mom and I got along well otherwise I might not be here today. sweatdrop
My dad knew, and still knows more about computers than anyone in the house, so our biggest problems with him and the computer were when we put things on the computer that HE didn't want there, or if, heaven forbid, we touched HIS computer. The newest one was always his.
One of the things that always got us kids upset was when he'd turn off the TV with 5 minutes of the show left.Taylor_Highwind Anyone curious at all as to why my dad's been nicknamed Snail Man when he's angry? 3nodding 3nodding Kimini And then some of us dress our children up in adorable costumes and take THEM trick-or-treating.
He does have teeth now, after all... *lol* That's my plan, take the little one trick-or-treating. I haven't decided if I'm going to take her out here or if I'm going out to my paren'ts to let my little brother "take her" trick-or-treating.
