"No... you're a better person than me." Lily whispered, then bit her lower lip. "I would have left her to die on top of that mountain, or killed her myself. I've already given her a second chance... a third is beyond me. I think that makes you a bit better."

"Should be." Lily murmured softly, giving him a bit of a hug before relaxing against him, shifting to be in his lap. "Love you Arlen." she added, then drifted off to sleep, smiling softly.

Tomo walked downstairs with a long stretch, hearing small cracks in his back. Liam was fed and washed and the baby catboy was napping peacefully. He prepared the morning's coffee and tea for the staff and patrons and he got to work cleaning the countertops. Today felt like it would be a productive day.

Cass came downstairs, eyes puffy as though she had not slept the entire night. She hadn't, thanks to some god forsaken storm... But, it gave her plenty of thinking time. She quietly walked across the bar, and with a timid voice, she called. "Tomo?" for his attention. She wrung her hands, and bit her lip, feeling very guilty for some of the things she said, and otherwise.

Tomo perked his ears, mid-way to fixing his tea. "Good morning, Cass." He greeted, setting his mug down. "Is there anything I can get you? Or did you just wanna talk?" He asked, mixing the sugar in.

Cass looked up at his green eyes, with a weak smile. "N-no.." she started, but, bit her lip. "Well, maybe. Definitely yes on the talk, though." Cass's voice was still timid, and small, more like Rhi's during a thunderstorm. Cass scuttled around the bar, feet shuffling, and clung to Tomo, burying her nose into his shirt, and hands gripping the cloth of it. "I didn't meant to be such a pain... I'm such a pain sometimes..and I know it too! I really do love you, my emerald eyed catboy." Muffled the voice into his shirt, as her fists dared not let go.

Tomo gasped and looked down at her. A hug was the last thing he expected. "It's not like I made it easy for you." He said, putting his arms around her and rubbing her back gently, "Ellie's right... I'm such an a** sometimes." He admitted, ears dropping. "Cass... I was thinking... Of maybe going away for a few days to talk to Ritsuko-san... Not right away! But, sometime. Once I get Liam settled." He rested his chin on her shoulder, "I need to do some soul searching. I never used to raise my voice or lose my temper like I did."
