I have less than six days to apply for the Jack Frost part... This thing actually has me really wanting to roleplay. And I found proof! His Art Walk thread showcases some of the early art he's done for the game. biggrin Yep, that's the artist! His actual name is Alex Ahad. I love his art style. It's so different from the usual fighting game art in the fact that its all hand drawn

A LOT, and I do mean a LOT of fighting game artwork is hand drawn. Then it's re-rendered into the game from the drawing.
That's how a good majority of sprite based 2D fighters were made in the beginning.
