By that time, Cass had stood, and was digging through drawers, looking for the weapon. Hearing someone's voice wrenched her out of her thoughts, and made her sit back down. "I just gave birth. Forgive me for being emotional." she called in response, glancing at the nightstand. Yes, that's where it was... But....

Lily did indeed come downstairs, but when she did, it was as a bunny, hopping carefully down the stairs. Seeing Arlen, she trilled softly and hopped over to him, sitting back on her haunches and pawing lightly at his pants.

Allen scowled and shook his head, "All the more reason you shouldn't be crying alone." He said, leaning against the door frame. He shrugged, "None of my business to pry, though. You have a good evening." He said before going on down the hall.

Arlen looked down at his pants and smiled at Lily. "Hello Love," he said, bending down to gently pick her up and then set her on the counter by the carrots. "Is this intentional or unintentional?" he asked her softly, wanting to know if he should be worried or not.

Yeah, wasn't it odd that she'd just birthed Liam, and not a word to her about it? Nah, too busy stirring up emotional catboys. Running a hand through her hair, Cass sat on the side of the bed, and glanced around. It was just... Tomo talked about how much he was trying to be loving, but where was the proof.. The actions? Words meant nothing.

Lily paused a moment, thinking, then gave a kind of rabbity shrug. She wasn't really too sure of which it was herself... she'd been dreaming again, and in this one she'd been her bunny self. On waking up, that was the form she'd been in. Trilling at him quietly in a show of appreciation, she started in on the carrots, ears twitching happily.

Arlen smiled again. "They're for you," he said, referring to the carrots and gently stroking her fur.

Lily only nodded, giving him a 'duh' sort of look - she'd known that... that was why she'd started to eat them already. Finishing two of them, she decided she was done for the moment, and began to concentrate on the petting, arching slightly into his hand, a blissful look in her green eyes.

Arlen chuckled and continued to stroke her as he ate his cereal. Finally he pushed the bowl aside and whispered "Suil chait." Transforming into a cat, Arlen soon joined Lily on the bartop.

Lily instantly started to trill again, rubbing her head against his side. Then, hopping close, she started to groom him playfully, the sound never stopping as she did.

Arlen purred at the contact and gently began to groom Lily in return.

Lily shivered at that, continuing her attentions for some time after that. Finally though, she pulled away gently, hopping first to one of the stools, and then to the floor. Nose twitching, she smelled the air, then began to hop around rather aimlessly, not yet ready to become human again.

Baizou continued to stare at the ceiling before sighing and sitting up. The storm seemed to have gone to a low roar and it was time for him to make things up. He walked to Cass' door and knocked gently, "Cass-san? I... Have to make an apology... I have done something very stupid and I think it has ruined everything." He murmured, shuffling his foot. "I do not dislike you... In fact I think you are perfect for Tomo and he is perfect for you. I ask... Actually, I beg you to reconsider your thoughts... Even if it is just..." He shrugged, "I do not know." He crying was making him cry. "And I care about you as a friend to Ellie."

Arlen watched Lily depart and then followed suit. Being unaccustomed to his kitty form, he stumbled slightly on the stool, but was able to catch himself easily enough.

Lily looked up at him questioningly, laughter clear in her expression. Still, she continued to investigate, though... she rather wished there was a lap around here somewhere to curl up on.
