Morrigan nodded, curling into the curves of Po-ar's arms and torso, tired and no longer cold---although her skin said a different story, still icy to the touch.
If one thing had remained from her faery and elven heritage, she attuned herself to temperatures quite quickly, even if it was more to her disadvantage at the moment.
"I wish it would grow faster," she sighed, "I want my other half back."
Moodiness was closing in on the woman again, much to her chagrin(as well as soon-to-be-everyone-else's); without her spiritual half, she was losing control over her more basic instincts.
Even in communication, the woman was starting to grow more and more quiet, save for expression of her anger, jealousy, sadness, lust, or distrust. The toll it was taking was considerable, and it wasn't hard to tell.
Ironically, the barriers she usually kept up were crumbling down, however, and in a sense this aided those wishing to know her better.
Example, Po-ar.
Her eyes grew distant as she thought over the situation, her fears and worries and sorrow all blended thoroughly together within them. Before, she would have feigned interest in the little details around her, eyes like the streams frozen over in winter; not a word could be wrenched from her then, save her heavy criticisms or feigned interest.
Like other women, Morrigan had her own share of weakness, hide it as she might.
"I think Konton will prepare for this somehow," she murmured quietly, "The same way they've been discovering everything else. I don't understand it, but not a thing we try has worked...! Well....some have almost worked.... We're on the defensive anymore, though, and that isn't right. We should be the ones attacking and overcoming them."
In truth, she needed a druid to be around. It was hard to train anyone of sufficient strength by herself, and in addition, being the only leader left had serious pitfalls.
What would happen if she died, and couldn't be brought back again?
Why couldn't she bring the others back the way she was?
Would there ever be a limit? Would she ever actually die, and if so, before or after her beloved, be it Po-ar or someone else?
The last question had been answered by Ea----but would he be the only man she'd have? Po-ar seemed to suggest otherwise, but would he fall to the same fate?
So many questions, and she hadn't a clue where to begin for answers.

Vincent on the otherhand grinned. About to raid the kitchen?
One already was.
Flirting shamelessly with every cute maid that passed him, Vincent was able to obtain quite a feast for himself, as well as......numbers....of sorts, he didn't exactly understand the concept but he grinned and winked anyhow. "Po-ar has nice taste in maids..." he murmured in between hunks of some sort of fowl-flesh, "Very, very nice tastes, I must add."
He smirked, eyes prowling the room.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm-mmm-mmm. A feast for the eyes AND stomach was the best feast, at least according to him.
Morrigan would've killed him.

Morrigan thought over this for a while, nodding her head slowly. "I agree. Our troubles started well before Kiraef, if I'm correct...." she sighed. "We still haven't found out what happened to Maeve's soul either. She's not in the Otherworlds, or any of the islands for the dead, but she's missing all the same. Something isn't right about any of this," she frowned, eyes clouding with worry, "Something isn't right about this at all."

Vincent was the one that raised his eyebrow. "Is that so? Are you saying there are women hotter than that here?" he asked, smirking and one eyebrow raised, intrigued. "Because I hate to say it but I'm not sure, these ones are pretty easy on the eyes...."

Vincent raised an eyebrow. "Who's this Aled fellow again?"

Morrigan frowned, nodding slowly. "That's the only explanation. Part of me being in Konton, I should honestly be focusing on finding out whether or not I can pick up on his thoughts and information.... I think I'm going to meditate for a while, but if I do I'd like to be on Earth. That's the only way we'd find out anything." she sighed.

Vincent frowned. "We don't take too kindly to anyone who winds up traitor or murderer, either," he sympathized, "I won't ask you what he did beyond what you're willing to tell me. I can tell even his memory irks you..."

Morrigan nodded a bit. "That's true, but it's only a matter of time before Konton thinks to look here."

Morrigan nodded slowly. "Though, he may resort to that even yet. I wouldn't put it past him." she sighed. "How exactly would he get to the Earth realm from the Fae realm anyhow?"

Vincent blinked in disbelief. "Damn. Morrigan certainly introduces me to interesting people I have to admit. I'm terribly sorry to hear that." he shook his head. "But look, these maids are younger, right? So, that means that Aled didn't hire them, right? Which means, Po-ar has FANTASTIC taste in women." he grinned.
Omph. Vincent was on the prowl.

"I'd have to be near you," Morrigan nodded slowly, "You'd have to whisk me out of there. I'm not sure there's any other way," she added, "I'm perfectly willing. There's very little else I can do, and I hate feeling useless."

Vincent grinned. "They have mothers, eh??? I thought them angels..." he teased, the grin growing into a pleased smirk. "But honestly, what do you expect? Babes everywhere. Po-ar has it made."

"Oh not at all," Vincent replied with a smile, "I'm simply saying he has fantastic taste in women. Mor's a prime example! I won't mind being a brother in law if I can visit often," he joked with a chuckle.

Morrigan smiled. "I simply dug it up," she yawned, "you were the one who kept it warm."
