Arlen shook his head. "I don't think it'll help right now," he said quietly. If I could eat then I could just go into the kitchen and make myself something, but no I have no reason to go anywhere.

"A little bit afraid.. and.. feeling bad that i've lost my family and it's my own fault" she said to him soflty. She then guided his hands down to her scars. TOmo had al bu tgotten ride of them. jsut the faintest traces remained.. an no magic

Ritsuko sat up from her thinking, "Arlen, have you tried eating anything? You may not feel like it, but your body may not reject it."

Lily shrugged, then stood. "Okay then." she murmured. "You know...he's trying. It'd be nice if you did too." Then the teen walked to the kitchen, stiff legged. While she'd always choose Arlen over Vincent, she didn't really want to, and it troubled her that the two couldn't get along.
Vincent blinked, shock evident on his features. "Uka...sweet...what?" He felt the areas a moment longer, then put his hands back on her sweet. "What happened, and what do you mean, lost your family?"

"I haven't tried lately, but yesterday I could only manage to get down half a glass of water," Arlen said wearily, and then watched Lily walk off with a pained expression.

Ukaia gave him a tenative smile
"Onii san.. I don't belong to him.. or.. or anyone anymore" she said sowllowing a bit a little more frightened
"I'm promiced to you.. and.. he was onii san.. and i had little brother. but it wasonly.. though being owned.. " she said uncertinally to him.
"I asked to be free.. so.. it gives that up.. right?

"Sweet." Vincent began, lightly pulling her down into his lap. "While I am beyond delighted that you decided you want to be free, it doesn't mean you give up your family. Tomo cares about you deeply, you two might as well be blood kin, from what I've seen. As for Jake...he seems to like you too." Then he stopped again, cupping her cheek in one hand, smiling at her warmly. "I don't want you to lose your family sweet, especially not because of me." he told her gently.

((sorry for wandering off....had a team meeting, then my personal homework tutor/nazi was helping me))
Kaen padded down the stairs in her fox form, but her fur was more silver than pure white this time. She walked over the bar and jumped up on a stool to reach her peaches, succeeding in knocking down four of them. She chased them around, trying to round them up, before settling herself carefully on the floor, the peaches trapped between her paws.

Tomo stood up and walked back into the main area, leaning in the doorway as he watched Ukaia. He wanted to comfort her, but he wanted Vincent to more. He shook his head and smiled walking back to the bar.

ARlen looked down at the fox batting peaches around. "Kaen, is that you?" he asked recalling the earlier conversation.

"I.. i don't?" she asked him tenatively. She had thought she had to give up one for the other.. And she'd been wiling to.But she looked hopefull that she didn't have to give up what she considered family

Kaen looked up, half a peach stuck on her fang. she sent openly, since she didn't know Arlen well enough to only send to him.
she said, holding the half peach with her paws as she unstuck her fang from the pit. She stretched her jaws, working out the pain.
((her fox form definitely beats the normal female monthlies))

"Of course not." Vincent told her tenderly, still smiling. "We all love you, if only in different ways. It would be wrong if you had to exchange one to get the other. You get to keep all of us."
Lily, an apple in one hand and a thermos of cocoa in the other, came out of the kitchen. She smiled at Kaen and Tomo, then flashed a quick look to Arlen before heading toward the door. "I'm taking a run." she called quietly, slipping on her shoes. Then she was gone, outside and jogging.
