QuiXilver The Forgotten2005 its a dictatorship! what do you think the world wars tried to stop??? Gumballs???? iraq might have been a dictatorship but why do WE have to fight in there as well? first, the government allows a buttload of people to die during the september 11 attack just so we can get the public riled up and ready to go to war. then when we were looking for supposedly ossama bin laden (who i think is working with the CIA still), all of a sudden we get these bogus reports linking saddam and iraq with the taliban, even though UN representatives have been through there and have proven many a-times that the reports that there are WMD's are false. STILL bush decided to go in and attack, at first claiming to be looking for WMD's, then we're trying to "liberate" the people of iraq. of course when we get there, these same iraqis we were trying to liberate welcome us with bullets and carbombs. and understandably so, how would you feel if foreigners try to come in and take over your country? cuba has a dictatorship as well, but we don't mess with their affairs (we tried, we all know how THAT turned out). how much money have we invested on this war? 9 billion? how many troops have we lost? hundreds of thousands? and what do we have to show for it? the iraqi economy is shot, their government is in disarray and the people are suffering the most. how has our visit there made things better for people? i don't understand why the american goverment feels the need to police everyone while neglecting our own issues at home. where was the government when hurricane katrina hit? we pour in resources to the warfund and our schools suffer, ranking us lower on education than we should be. not only that but our image to the rest of the world is justifiably screwed up because of our self-righteous attitude. ever since that whole "manifest destiny" bullshit we've been trying to take over the world. rolleyes Manifest destiny is done it was us reaching from ocean to ocean ((which was around in 1812 ok?)) there for that destiny we completed and we have been welcome alot by by the towns people it is there military that is the problems

IT'S ONE FRIGGIN SENTENCE!! sure, you don't use proper grammar when you type jokes, but damn, proper grammar is not something you turn on and off and only do when grades are on the line. i know i don't capitalize letters when i'm supposed to but at least my posts makes sense to everyone else. holy mackarel it's like arguing with a little boy. how old are you, kid? 8? 9? now i'm going to have to sit here and decipher what the hell you were trying to say.... ok, if you are right with the whole, taking our murderers thing and making them fight for the french army, that's fine by me. i'm sure that the discipline in a military system will help reform them more than sitting around, lifting weights and doing nothing in our prison system. if they want to turn these folks into citizens after x amount of time (which is the same thing we do when we let them out), then good for them. it's nice that they're willing to give these people a second chance, honestly speaking i'm not sure i would. if they go to france, that's their problem now. in terms of battles they've lost, can you really attribute lack of military power to cowardice? seriously, calling someone a coward is ******** up because you're questioning their character, just because they don't necessarily believe in the same beliefs you do or that their military power is subpar. maybe, the government tallied up the pros and cons of a given war, realized that, "hey, this has very little to do with us and more to do with the USA's greed" and decided it wasn't worth risking their country men and resources. damn, i actually wouldn't mind having a goverment like that. if you think it's cowardice to think things through, if you think it's cowardice to not send your countrymen to their deaths for some meaningless battle, then call me a coward too.
