Lillian took a few waddled steps forward on Rayel's hands. She opened her mouth and her tongue shot out at the cricket.
Rayel laughed, grinning. "Lillian sure does love her crickets and bugs. Keeps my plants all clean as a whistle, not a bug in sight." He pet her back with a finger and finally sat, grinning. "Ah yes, Lillian's telling me to introduce myself. My name is Rayel, it's a pleasure."

Lacuna nodded, "Oh how rude of me, I'm sorry- My name is Lacuna", she said as a pink tint warmed her cheeks. Lacuna watched the frog as it ate before moving her eyes back to Rayel. "Rayel huh? That's a good name", she said rather matter-of-factly, "are you from the Underground?", she asked eager to learn more about the man.

Rayel reached into his pocket with a hand and pulled out a white handkerchief, placing it on the table and resting Lillian upon it. He smiled and picked up his coffee.
"Not originally, but I am quite happy to call it home." He grinned and took a sip of his coffee.
((I totally forgot to mention which lolita model he is. /facepalm
Let me find a linkie, I'll edit this or put it in the next one.))

((That's alright, the Lollis are a mess right now, but hopefully we'll all figure something out xD))
Lacuna nodded, "I suppose I could say the same really. It's been good to me since I've been here", she admitted. Lacuna finished her latte off and fiddled with the spine of her book. "How long have you been here?", she asked curiously.

"It's almost like...anything can happen. And anything does." He grinned and leaned over his cup, inhaling. "Besides...My last home didn't have this, to my knowledge."With a wink, he took another sip, sighing happily when he put the cup down.

Lacuna nodded, "Yeah, I used to have a friend who was from another realm, he didn't know what a pumpkin was", she said. Lacuna threw her empty cup away and purchased two muffins. Setting one of the muffins delicately infront of Rayel she smiled. "I hope you like lemon", she said pinching off a piece of her own and nibbling on it.

"Ah, lemons! They have such an interesting taste. Thank you!" Rayel grinned as he broke off a piece, chewing in it slowly. Lillian looked up at Rayel, and he shook his head. "No, Lillian, you didn't like lemon things the last time you tried them." Rayel shook his head, finishing off his coffee and taking another crumble of muffin.
"I swear, the phrase should be 'stubborn as a toad', nor a mule." Rayel said, with a grin and wink.

Lacuna giggled into her palm as she watched Rayel. "Do you always take her places with you?", she asked eating a piece of her own muffin. Lacuna put her book back in her bag and returned her focus to Rayel, she was enjoying herself. Lacuna felt pleased, it was nice to be back in the coffeeshop she used to frequent so often before.

"A true gentleman are we?", she asked Rayel. Lacuna chuckled some to herself before finishing off what she wanted of the muffin. "So what do you like to do for fun?", she asked the man curiously, she hoped she wasn't being too forward.

"I like to mix things. And raise plants. What's the word...Gardening! I spend quite a bit of my time mixing extracts together." Rayel laughed and took another crumble of muffin. "And reading! I've found I enjoy Alexandre Dumas especially. Reading...perhaps you could recommend something?" He winked.

Lacuna's cheeks tinted with a pink color. Grabbing her book, Lacuna held it close to her. Lacuna had some interesting hobbies and she didn't want to scare her new friend off. "Well.. This is, well- to be honest, it's a spell book", she said nervously. Lacuna looked down to the book and then back to Rayel, he seemed like a nice guy, maybe he wouldn't think she was weird. Lacuna slid the book ontop of the table and pushed it towards Rayel. "This book is about necromancy", she said.

Rayel's face lit up as he heard the word, and he picked up the book. "Necromancy! Such things were...frowned upon where I came from. So of course, I was always curious..." He looked up at Lacuna. "Mind if I take a peek inside?"

Lacuna chewed her bottom lip nervously before weary shaking her head. "I mean- I guess, it's not evil or anything.. It-It's well, I don't know.." Lacunas face turned a milky white color as she anxiously picked the polish from her nails. "It's not what you think really", she added watching the man before her.
