Valandil517 A quick question, I have ordered a Baneblade and an Apocolypse rulebook, but how many side sponsons of weapons can a Baneblade have? I have seen them with 2 bolters on each side along with a lascannon, but can they have more? Please forgive me if this question is against the forums rules, but I am just curious. Thanks The Baneblade can have up to two sponsons per side. Same goes for the Hellhammer. All you need for that is another Baneblade kit.

Forge World will next year release three upgrade kits for the plastic Baneblade: - Shadowsword (Titan killer) - Stormsword (Siege tank) - Stormblade (Plasma tank)
Previews can be found in the Imperial Armour Apocalypse book.
New Imperial Guard stuff: - Three super-heavy tanks ready for Apocalypse use (see above list). Each tank comes with the "Command Tank" upgrade. The Shadowsword comes with BS4, the Stormsword is a cheap Hellhammer and the Stormblade has the same type of plasma blastgun as a titan.
- Manticore missile tank and Manticore missile platform, can be upgraded to take AA missiles for no extra cost.
- Gorgon, a big slow super-heavy APC that can carry fifty men inside its hull. Is amphibious and very resistant to head on damage.
- Macharius (twin-linked battle cannon), Macharius Vanquisher (twin-linked Vanquisher cannon) and Macharius Vulcan (Vulcan mega bolter). Slated as second generation super-heavies. Come with two structure points.
- Malcador (battle cannon), Malcador Annihilator (twin-linked lascannons) and Malcador Defender (Heavy bolters all-round and demolisher cannon), a slow WWI styled tank that can have autocannon and lascannon sponsons.
Armoured Fist squadron: 2+ Salamander Scouts OR 2+ AF squads
Armoured Fist recon company: Squadrons and one command vehicle (Salamander Command, Chimera or Leman Russ Exterminator)

Exactly, a lot of these formations are highly unfeasible for a single person. The only way I see some of these formations going to field is by borrowing or pooling specialist vehicles together with a friend or someone else who has them.

All he needs to do now is stop shaving for a week and get a vodka breath to look like a filthy polish immigrant crying And he's got enough toys for now, even more and mommy is going to take away his allowance so he can't get any new stuff.

I suggest that you go with your own organization and build from the ground up so that you aren't locked into anything that you don't want. While I admit that the Steel Legion models are kick-a**, same as Death Korps, my overriding suggestion is to leave it open ended so that you can switch around doctrines and weapons layouts as needed.

My main army uses the Cadian doctrines to a good effect and all options, save for Grenadiers, are used.
If looking for adventurous army lists, go for the Imperial Guard armies created by FW, such as the Krieg siege regiment and the Elysian D-99 drop troops. These are NOTHING like the normal codex armies.
