"Mmm-hmm. And since we weren't able to locate any family members for us to call, and an emergency comes up, shall we just call your boyfriend? If that's so, we'll need his name, address, and phone number." The nurse said, scribbling down something on a clipboard. It was going along slowly, because the nurse would have to look up the words Kira said and try to pronounce the words correctly herself.

More than a month had passed since Bakura had allowed Ryou to go to the hospital. Since then, Bakura's actions had gone on in mystery. What he did to Ryou was unknown at the moment, and he made it a point to avoid others, not that he had been hanging around them before.
Khalid, however, had gone down to the hospital at first for a while, then his visits slowly thinned out until he just didn't drop in. His relationship with Ishizu progressed some, but it was still shaky because of his attitude and mood changes.
Atem and Yugi had made up, the boy's bruises fading, the past forgotten for them. They were talking of going back to Domino, and wanted to bring the others back with them. They were both uncomfortable in England, but would be uncomfortable still in Domino without the others. Besides, Atem wanted to try and keep an eye on the Millennium Items to make sure nothing really bad happened.

"Tsk tsk..." A cold, familiar voice came from the doorway, "You seem angry today, Kira. Is something the matter, or have you just got general attitude problems?" Bakura smirked slightly, his arms folded across his chest, as he regarded Kira coolly. Ryou wasn't with him, and Bakura was sure that the boy wouldn't be leaving the apartment any time soon.

A choking sound came from Bakura, who had been taken by absolute surprise by this. "You... what?" He asked, in a voice that had it's cold, mocking tones dropped for once. He sounded truly concerned, just for a moment. Then a growl came from him. "If this is some sort of trick, Kira..." He said threateningly, but somehow could tell that she wasn't lying. His mouth hung open, and he stared in awe in silence.

Kira had to see this for herself.Looking threw the nurces eyes she started laughing "Khalid dident inform you?" she had an evil smirk on her face "well then congrads your a daddy...well ..not for long.I'm getting rid of it once they let me on my f*cking feet without that walker or cane...actuly..that cane sounds good right now.." she held out her hand and the nurce handed hera metal cane.Sliping out of bed she walked over to him not even useing the cane "your supost to lean on it.." the nurce said.Kira complelty ignored the nurce and started beating bakura with the cane.

Bakura yelped in surprise and tried to jump away, but he was so stunned by the news that he just slammed straight into the wall next to him. He raised his arms to guard his head before he regained control of himself. "You are not going to get rid of it!" He snarled, surprising even himself. "For the gods' sakes... If you think that I'd... My only... You must take me for a fool!"

Bakura lunged for Kira and pinned her arms to her side to stop the beating. "I will personally see to it that you keep the child-- my heir-- to be brought to life, dammit!" He snarled, resisting the urge to shake her. He wasn't too sure about medical stuff, but he didn't really want to take any risks. He was going to make sure she had this child. He raised one hand and struck Kira's neck, so that she would be knocked out.
