"Enough admiring, I suppose. Let's go in."
They entered the lab and were immediately greeted by two of Professor Sycamore's aides; one male and the other female.
"Do you have an appointment? Professor Sycamore is a busy man and will only be seeing people who make appointments." The woman said as they approached.
Maddy blinked, a little taken aback.
"Well, he just told me to show up tonight. He didn't give me an exact time."
"Oh!" The woman clapped her hands together. "This must be... what was it? Team Aqua? What a strange name. I'll go let the Professor know you're here." With that, the lady rushed upstairs.
The other aide turned to them. "He's currently with a... client. He shouldn't be long."
Maddy nodded to him.
"He can take his time. We don't mind waiting."
She walked over to the nearest wall and leaned against it, crossing her arms.
"Might as well get comfortable." She told her teammates.

Misery looks around the room while they wait.
"(Human technology is so strange...)" She holds her hands to her sides and rocks back and forth, bored.

If there is one thing Ace sees in a lab, it was definitely the air of 'boredom' in the place. Tapping her foot continuously, she might as well take a look of the room. Well... At the very least, it looked 'welcoming'. "The wait better be worth it," she muttered to herself.

"Client." Allen chuckled and took a seat on the couch, turning himself out of sight from everyone in the lobby.

After a few moments, the woman came down the stairs and gave them a smile.
"The Professor will see you now." She said, cheerfully.
Maddy returned her smile. "Awesome!"
She looked to her teammates.
"Upstairs we go."
They followed the lady upstairs, the other aide following close behind them. They stepped into Sycamore's office and the door was closed behind them.
Professor Sycamore stood before them, a bright smile on his face. He was quite a handsome man with medium-length black hair and gray eyes. He seemed to be fairly young for someone of his position.
To his left stood a man wearing a black suit trimmed with orange. His hair was orange, along with his beard, and his eyes were an icy blue.
Maddy took note that there was three men in orange suits standing off in the corner. They seemed to be with Sycamore's guest.
"Good evening, Team Aqua. I assume this beautiful lady with the eye patch is Maddy. There must be an impressive story behind that." His eyes flashed a little and he gestured towards his guest. "This is Lysandre. He owns Lysandre Labs, the company that created the Holo Caster."
Lysandre nodded. "I'm sure you've seen the Holo Caster during your short time here."
Maddy shook her head. "No, actually, I haven't. I would love to learn about it some time."
He smirked. "I'll have to tell you all about it sometime. But perhaps we can save that for another day." He turned
"Yes, another time. I've been told you're all here to learn about Mega Evolution, yes?"
Maddy nodded. "Yes, it's an interesting concept. It's something unheard of in other regions."

Misery follows behind Maddy, looking around the building as she does.
One of the grunts in the corner looks over at Team Aqua. He's dressed in an orange suit like the others, although his pants aren't tight. His hair is parted both ways and a large strand of hair sticks up. He's wearing bright orange triangle shades that almost cover a scar that runs from his right eye to top light corner of his mouth.
Misery gives the man a strange look before turning to Sycamore and Lysandre. "(What's a Holo-Caster? And can I Mega evolve?)"

Once he arrived before the gate like entrance of the professors pokemon lab, Dimitri's eyes widen at the sight of the professors pokemon lab, from his perspective the laboratory was much more extravagant when compared to the other laboratory's that he had seen in the past. While, Cranidos began to headbutt the gate in an anxious manner once he had arrived alongside his trainer. Shortly after, Dimitri followed Maddy towards the pokemon laboratory's building, walking past and glancing around at the scenery as slowly he followed her lead into the pokemon laboratory. Second's after his trainer began to walk off towards the laboratory, Cranidos started running after him until he eventually arrived inside of the laboratory alongside his trainer. "Another Client? I wonder who the client could be?" Dimitri thought to himself as his eyes filled with curiosity.
Once he had heard that the professor was ready, Dimitri immediately picked up his Cranidos and slowly began to follow Maddy, cautiously looking around as he followed her lead until he eventually arrived inside of the professors office. Once he noticed the three men in orange suits, Dimitri cautiously glanced at them as his eyes filled with suspicion.

Me: How does a company that deals with holographic displays have an interest in further Pokémon evolution? Love the suit by the way.

Although she would hate to admit this, that professor is probably too "handsome" for his own good. She made a subtle cough before listening to the more important words. Ace put off a mask of indifference although her narrowed eyes were pique with curiosity towards the professor. "Mega Evolution? What is the difference between that and regular evolution?"

Allen watched as Lysandre turned. He couldn't stop watching the guy, "Uh huh..." He spoke like he was being spoken too.

Lysandre gave a smirk as he received a compliment on his suit from one of the Team Aqua members.
Sycamore gave the Gardevoir a smile. "We're not completely sure of what Pokemon can mega evolve just yet. Which is why we're seeking people to help with the research."
He nodded to both of his aides. "But before we continue, a test is in order."
The female aide took a whistle from her pocket and blew it. A few more assistants entered the room.
Maddy watched them closely as they entered the room. "A test?" She turned back to Sycamore.
"Nothing too difficult. We need to ensure you're all talented trainers, otherwise there will be no point in continuing this." He said with a smile. "
A smirk stretched across Maddy's face. "I'm sure we can handle anything you throw at us."
"Perfect. Each of you must battle one of my aides. Win, and our conversation can continue."
[Everyone fight one aide each. All of the aides use the three Kalos starter Pokemon. However, the Pokemon may be 1st- or 2nd-stage depending on how strong your team is. Obviously, if you use a team of evolved Pokemon, you will face a team of evolved Pokemon. Reserve your battle posts, please. smile ]

The aide looks confused as Misery prepares for a battle. "(I'm uhh... Standing in for my trainer.)" She shrugs. The aide hesitantly agrees and tosses a Pokeball. A Delphox appears.
She tosses out a Pokeball, sending out Brick.
The Tyranitar glares at the Delphox, ready for battle.
"[Brick, Stone Edge!]" She shouts in Pokemon.
"Delphox, Grass Knot!" The aide orders.
The Delphox makes a gnarled vine emerge from it's sleeve and it trips brick. He comes down, under his own weight. He takes a large amount of damage. He manages to get back on his feet. He then makes sharp stones appear under the Delphox, which then shoot up from under it. It takes a critical hit and faints.
The aid recalls Delphox and sends out Chesnaught.
Misery recalls the weakened Brick and sends out Volcarona.
"Chasnaught, rollout!" The aide shouts
"(Pyrax, Hurricane!)"
The shiny Volcarona makes up a powerful wind and blasts the Chespin, dealing a huge amount of damage and KOing it.
The aide sighs and looks at Misery. How could a Pokemon be so good at battling?
She recalls Chesnaught and sends out Geninja.
Misery recalls Volcarona and steps onto the field.
"(I'll battle next.)" She says to the aide, who agrees.
"Greninja, Night Slash!"
Misery is stuck by Greninja, taking decent damage. She shrugs it off and charges up an attack before launching a Moon Blast. The shining beam of light blasts the Greninja, who becomes quickly weakened but stays up.
"Shadow Sneak!"
The Greninja runs into her, bringing her down to little health. She blasts him with another Moon Blast and KO's it.

Maddy was approached by one of the aides. They sent out a Fennekin. Maddy smirked and plucked Tyrunt's Pokeball off her belt.
Fennekin attacked first with a Psychic attack. The attack did a decent amount of damage, but it was nothing Tyrunt couldn't handle.
"Earthquake!"
Tyrunt slammed the ground, causing a terrible earthquake. It hit Fennekin hard. The little fox retaliated with Power-Up Punch. Tyrunt growled a little as the attack hit him. Fennekin's Attack stat increased.
"Crunch!"
Thanks to Tyrunt's Strong Jaw ability, the blow was a powerful one and finished off their first foe.
Next up was a Froakie. The Pokemon summoned a wave of water to wash over Tyrunt, finishing him off. Cursing under her breath, she recalled Tyrunt and sent out her Skiddo, Muffin.
"Razor Leaf!"
Skiddo rushed into battle and summoned a flurry of sharp leaves to buffet their frog opponent. The attack was a critical hit and one-shot the Froakie. The last opponent was a Chespin. Maddy quickly recalled Muffin for her Houndour.
"Fire Fang!"
Flames leapt from Houndour's maw as it sunk it's fangs into Chespin. Chespin retaliated with Brick Break. The attack hit Houndour hard, dealing a lot of damage.
"Flamethrower!"
The little dog let loose a stream of fire, finishing off their last opponent. She recalled her companion and waited for her friends to finish up their battles.
