[Through the darkness, I heard a sweet voice call out to me, among the many others. I stirred when a face nuzzled my pelt. A warm scent washed over me, sweeping away all the pain and exhaustion. I slowly opened my eyes, feeling faint, and saw the face of my mother. The face I had been longing for for moons...]
"H-hey mohmma," I said hoarsely, managing a weak grin, "fanshy meetin' you here."
[I licked my mother's ear, and glanced around at the other cats, especially those struggling to carry me. I smelled dried blood and pain, eminating from the medicine cat's den.]
"Ish someone hurt?" I asked a bit worriedly.

He noticed Envykit, she was getting worst, he heard Cinderwing's comment on her ribs.] This will be no good for Nightclan... Shadow thought ruefully. [He padded up to Envykit and looked at her. She was broken alright. He padded away and decided to go to the returned Purepaw. She then glanced at Vanillapaw, her tail lashing with anger.] "Don't worry Vanillapaw, she will get better. Plus talk about harsh.." Sunpelt growled, sitting beside her brother. [She kept a close eye on Lightsound.]
[Moonpelt glanced at his sister, giving her a bored look.] "Well obviously she's mad, your not a medicine cat and it's stressful trying to heal cats in a small den like that. But yes that was true, it was a bit too rash.." he stated, then looked up at Vanillapaw with a grin. "It's okay, Hauntedheart is a smart medicine cat, she'll fix her up quickly." Moonpelt comforted.
[Sunpelt looked at her brother quickly, her ears pricked up and her eyes wide with shock.] "But didn't you hear her tone?! Moonpelt she almost bi-"
[Moonpelt shot her sister a glare, his pupils sharp.] "Didn't you hear a word I said? When are you going to get mature?" Moonpelt said in a bit of a tiring tone. [He then looked up at Vanillapaw with a smile.] "Vanillapaw, you seemed stressed from Envykit's conditions, if you want you can come on a walk with me." Moonpelt requested. [He then looked down at his sister with a grin.] "What about you?" he asked.
[Sunpelt gave her brother a glare as he spoke.] "I'm not immature!" she snapped. [She then started to ease down, her ears flat against her head, twitching with anger.] "I'm not going, I have to look after Lightsound." she mumbled, not looking her brother in the eye.

[He murmered faintly, shifting his gaze to the limp bundle of gray tabby fur just out of his sight. Was that a cracking sound he heard? He couldn't be too sure, since his senses were still slightly fuzzy.
At that moment, an angry voice above him reached his ears - Watercloud! He listened to his least favourite tom's words in silence, hating how his words hit the nail on the head - but he was unwilling to admit that he was right. He whirled around and tried to snap his jaws at Watercloud's paws, only receiving a splitting headache from his fractured skull as a result.]
"I don't need...your wise words...half-clan...fleabag!"
[He tried to hiss in fury, but ended up being barely audible. At that moment, the delicious scent of woodmouse wafted into his nose and he lay back down, glad to have something into his stomach at last.]
"Thanks...what's all the...noise in the...camp about?"

He laughed and ran to the nursery. He looked in at Ducky and Marcy "PUREPAW'S BACK!!!!" He laughed again and ran to stand outside the medeine cat's den. He lowered his voice greatly, in case any of the cat's heads hurt. [Cinderwing sighed, taking a bite out of his toad. He savored the exploding flavors for a little longer before replying.] "Purepaw is back," He meowed bluntly, no excitement noticeable in his voice. He wasn't too extatic about the whole thing. After all, she couldn't have been lost for three moons!

[My luminous yellow eyes narrowed slightly, remembering how the Clan, and I, had mourned her death along with Shatteredfang and Leopardstorm's death. I contained a growl in his chest, before replying.] "That's what I would like to know. My tail lashed slightly as I took another bite from my toad. I finished it, and eyed the other mouse. I smiled somewhat, looking over to Hauntedheart. "I brought this for you," I half-whispered, standing up to nose the prey over to her. "You could have it now, or when you're not as busy," I meowed, not looking at the she-cat. I felt something burn in my belly. Something that willed me not to look at her. Was I.....nervous?
