Kaede was listening to Alyxis and Pyne, though loosely, and actually agreed with Alyxis that there was more than likely no ferry. Though she didn't admit it. She looked over at Tiberius and noticed the change in his mood. She decided to change the subject. "Well alright, you don't have to tell me...Bur hey, tell me seething else about yourself? There must be more to you than having to change homes every once in a while." She put her hands behind her back and smiled at him, hoping to cheer him up a bit.

Tiberius looked relieved at the subject change. He smiled back and replied. "Well, I'm an archaeologist, a paleontologist, a crypto zoologist, and I dabble in mythology." He smiles at Kaede.

Alyxis walked close enough to him, for her hip to bounce against his, "We'll just have to keep walking together out of the forest. Of course we might need the witless wonder to let the wolf back in control so he can lead us..."
Devin groaned again, walking little better than a three week old puppy.

Alyxis crossed her arms, "Well? Are you going to let him be in charge again?"
Devin huffed, closed his eyes and when he opened them they were the the gold of a wolf's. The wolf trotted ahead of them, and eventually looked back over his shoulder to make sure they were following.

Kaege giggles and smiles, "Interesting! So you study old things? Anything Kitsune related?" Kaede, upon hearing that he studied stories wondered if perhaps there was something he could tell her.

Alyxis eventually wrapped her fingers around Pyne's, "What's wrong,?" her voice was barely loud enough for him to hear, "Your coiled tighter than most springs."
Ahead Devin was keeping a steady trot, that ate up ground, repeatedly checking behind him for the group.
