I had already started down the stiars in a pair of jeans, sock, and a baggy black sweater when there was a knock on the door. mom started down the hall and I called to her, "I got it!" running the rest of the way, strands of hair comeing out and shapping my face, I pull the door open and my mouth drops, Boltrix standing before me.
"Hey, I.. I'm really sorry about your parents..." I stood there like a dork for nearly twenty seconds, then like a brick to the head, "Oh! would you like to come in? My mom made waffles if your interested?" I said with a deepening blush.

Boltrix didn't know what to say, after all he was pretty hungry and he hadn't eaten for quite a while. So he nodded and smiled, something that was a real treat, considering that he almost never smiled, and then walked in. He just stood around, never being in her house and wondering if he really was welcome or not.

"Mom! we have company for breakfest!!"
"Oh good, I can't remember the last time someone other than Aaron came over!"
A blush lit up my cheeks imediately and I didn't dare look at Boltrix, "Well... I hope your hungry, she probably made enough to feed the whole army.. hehe..."
I gave off a weak smile, "Here, let me take your jacket, and You can sit anywere you want, and... and... I made orange juice??? it's not that hard to make, do you want some? or coffee? or milk?? you can have... anything you want??? Me casa su casa?? I think thats how you say it..."
I babbled on trying to keep my mind on something solid.

Boltrix blushed himself, wondering why she was so attentive to his needs. It wasn't like the way he was treated when he was at the mansion, where people catered to his whim. Instead, he was being offered hospitality, and it was very strange, but he tried to handle it as normally as possible.
"It's okay, anything is fine! I've never tried authentic home cooking, and I look forward to it!" He then reassured her with a grin, and wondered to himself why he was being so cheery, was it her that was bringing this out in him?

I smiled lightly,
Holly crap... he's useing facial muscles to smile... YEE!!
I stood still, savoring the moment, just looking into his beautiful golden eyes, "right... this ... way..." I said, biting my lip and leading him into the kitchen, mom looked up.
"Hi! welcome to my home, You can call me Sarah. How are you Hon?" My mom said, grabbing him into a hug.

Boltrix was caught off guard, and was surprised when Sarah hugged him. He replied "I'm... just fine. Thank you for allowing me to partake in your meal."
When the hug was over, he sat down, but waited for permission to begin eating, as he still didn't know how the eating over at someone else's place thing worked,

"So.. We have three different types of syrup, mapple, strawberry, and blueberry. Pick your flavor, drown your waffle and dig in! you can eat as much as you want, theres no limit when it comes to food in this house! What would you like to drink?" I asked, placeing the syrup infront of him.

Thinking over about the choices, he considered maple and attempted to pour it over his waffles, but his strength got the better of him and poured a little too much of it. Trying to focus on anything else but the possibility of a mess, Boltrix decided upon what drink he was going to have. "Um, milk would be allright, if it's no trouble?"

When Katana got to class the teacher told her to go to the nurse's office and the nurse called her parents. Her mom picked her up and started yelling at her for going to school like that. When they got home Katana took her books upstairs to her room and was told to clean them and then finish her work from school and work from home.

"Milk, no problem!" I said with a smile. "Mom?"
"uh... I have coffee, thank you, though." I nodded and walked to the refridgerator, pulling open the door and taking out the gallon of milk and poured two glasses, one for Boltrix and one for me. walking back to the table, I handed him his glass and sat down, bringing one knee up to my chest and wrapping my arm around it. I poured strawberry syrup on my waffles and grabbed a fork, smiling, I cut off a peice and put it bellow the table for my dog, Sneakers. My mom saw this and glared at me, "Jennie, Your going to make that dog fat if you keep feeding it table food!"
"MOM!!" I groaned at her use of my child hood nick-name, "He won't get fat, I take him out for jogs almost every morning!"

AkaMaaku "Yuki relax. I have a better idea. Instead of hurting yourself more I'll deal with your parents and their dogs. Trust me I'm good with any animal I come across with. Besides they won't be able to track us here." Pointing out his window, "See out there is a sewage facility. It gets really rank around this area at this time and would stop them from following us." Giving her a relaxing smile, "That's why I could live here cheap plus all my neighbors are cops and their families. I'm not lying they stay here because its so cheap. I'll be asking one for help later to see what we can do to protect you from your psycho parents. I'm going to protect you from them you have my word." She felt like she needed to sit up and hug him until she was to tired to breathe, but she didn't she knew it would hurt. "Mark..." she wasn't sure she should ask, but she did anyway. "Can I live with you for a while?" she was to scared to be alone now.

She tried to smile but the lash on her face made her stop a crooked one. "Mark... you know I love you, right?" she was trying not to sound corny and hoped he wouldn't point out how it sounded.

When Katana finished she went downstairs because she could smell the food from downstairs. She walked into the kitchen and her mom said,"Katana, you're not getting any food" She then walked upstairs sad and she didn't have anything todo so she opened her window, walked to the edge of the roof and jumped off, her ankle wasn't broken but it was badly injured. She walked to her backyard and walked to the cellar,she took the key that was hidden in the garden,opened the cellar and locked both doors. She had everything she needed to last her for a while but she had to keep quiet.After a while she got hungry, so she opened the cabinet and reached for a plate but the shelf broke. All the glass plates fell and made a loud sound. Katana climbed out of the window before her mom came downstairs and wandered around for a while,but her ankle and her feet started to bleed.

Deciding that action spoke better than words he cupped her face with his hand and gave a long winded kiss. After the kiss he placed his forehead on hers and looked into her eyes, "I know and now you know my answer as well."
