Natsuki merely watched the stage with tredipation. Unlike her years upon the stage, she wansn't selling an image or a character, but herself. As more people swarmed toward the staging area, a growing sense of dread mounted within her. What if no one bid on her? That would be a nice kick to the ego. She tried maintaining her composure, but it was no secret she was rather... distracted.
It wasn't until We'rika, bless him, plunged a rose at her, that Natsuki was yanked free from her mindset. She smiled meekly, feeling a bit terrible for ignoring him, and rather surprised to hear him speaking so cleaning to her. "It's beautiful, We'rika," she said gently, taking the rose from him and sniffing it deeply. Giving him a more familiar, classic smile, and in turn complimented him, "You clean up nicely, yourself. We'rika. You look downright respectable and gentlemany."

Ravi decided he'd return to the merchandise booth later. With a nod and a grin still plastered to his face, he left Isi and Eiry to their customers and walked towards the other booths.
Alright, where to now...
As he turned away, he heard a booming announcement for a Mr. Julian Sweet. needed over at... the date auction booth? Uggh! He shuddered involuntarily, though in no way due to the name of the man being announced. Date? Auction?! Would people really pay money to point out to the world who they'd be spending intimate dinners and evenings with, just to earn the Lab a little cash? How much could human cattle earn, anyway? And who was this Mr. Sweet that he'd willingly offer himself up to play such a derogatory role?
Maybe the motive was guilt, as Ravi's was. It's not like he wanted to admit that he cooked with a pink apron, but here he was, apron in tow, waiting to be delivered to a garage sale-style booth. He shook his head. All this in the name of "science." I think Dr. Kyou is the first scientist to ever accumulate funds in such a ...colorful manner, he thought to himself.
Not eager to view the spectacle, Ravi turned away from the stage and decided to see what booth he'd bump into first. He found himself approaching a stall fragrant and brimming with flowers of all varieties. It was manned by a Raevan he had yet to meet (a beautiful Raevan, he corrected himself), a Raevan who was assisting two customers, currently. A young boy and girl - perhaps a couple, by the looks of it - and... hey, that was-
"Kim!" Ravi blurted, unable to stop himself. It had been a while since he'd last seen her. Frankly, it had been a while since he'd seen anything of the lab, included its interested persons, scientists, or Raevans.
He didn't realize until now just how much shorter than him she was. Of course, most people were.

The woman watched the cat-dragon as he sprawled out on her booth, making her laugh at just how cute he looked. Alex carefully placed the wet portion of the towel over her fingers, gently but swiftly cleaning the animal's fur before it could dry in the high sun. A few quick motions with the wet towel, followed by a more delicate touch with the dry towel, ensuring that he was clean and wouldn't fluff out that pretty fur of his.
All this motion on the booth had awoken the Gwee, and he was none too pleased to see his human bathing some other creature. The little dragonette uttered an indignant chirp, causing Alex to look over at him. "Good morning sleeping beauty," she smiled wryly at Lorenzo as she finished with the cat, giving the black critter a few good pets down the length of his body, careful not to pull his wings. This, of course, made the poor little dragon extremely jealous. The Gwee leapt from the booth onto Alex's shoulder, then off again towards the shade of the tree he had previously been sleeping under. There, he stared at the woman with his large red eyes.
"Zoe, be nice," the woman rolled her eyes, "I'll give you a treat later if you just mind yourself." Immediately passifying the Gwee with promises of sweets, she cocked her head to the side to get a better look at the cat. He was obviously intelligent, although how he became drenched in such condiments was beyond her; was her feral, or did he belong to someone? Alex pulled up the chair that went with her booth, lounging back in it to regard the feline with a curious gaze. "Now that you're looking quite stunning, what can I do for you?" While most people would have felt funny speaking to animals, the Italian was quite used to it; in fact, she had found that most creatures were more inclined to answer positively than humans.
Then again, perhaps she really was just that inept at interacting.

We`rika preened at her comment, smiling devilishly. "I know righ'? Is my angle ta ge' th'ladies tonigh'..." They could learn the next morning how... gentlemanly he really was. Drawing closer to his favorite girl, the shaman watched the stage with mild interest as they announced Julian Sweet. What a weird name. Though he really couldn't talk. "Who is he?" We`rika asked as he leaned over to Natsuki. He assumed he was one of the lab community, but since he rarely got out to chat with people there were still quite a few strange faces yet to be known. "Hey! YOU! Come heeere! Buy a pretty flower!" Sevilin waved his arms in the air, golden bracelets tinkling melodiously with the movement. As the man drew closer, the watery Frei gawked obviously. "Whoa! Yer tall!" Never one for social etiquette, the Raevan floated over to Ravi and patted him on the head, giggling gently.

Shuura was debating whether or not she wanted to use her real name when an idea struck her. "My name is Lemon,", she replied, a saccharine smile adorning her face. "I really shouldn't leave the booth since I could be called up to the stage at anytime, but do feel free to go off and look around. If you don't find me later, I work at the Cafe Jubilee in Gambino. Pleased to meet you, sir." He was definitely a bit too young for her to be calling him "sir", but, she'd likely not see him again if he wasn't interested and he'd likely earn her a good bit of profit if he was. So, she dropped him small curtsy and handed him one of the Cafe Jubilee business cards. "Have fun," she called after him obligatorily.
Vyn considered the name, rosy head tilted slightly to the side as she tried it out. "Sev...lin." she repeated, having a bit of difficulty with the second syllable.
A slight frown marred the Frei's delicate features when We`rika rushed by and grabbed some of the roses. Vyn wanted to tell them it was no use to take the dying flowers. Why did people want them? She did not understand. They would soon wilt.
A delicate sigh escaped through the Rose Raevan's lips as she floated quietly behind the booth as Sevilin helped some other walkers. She wanted to do something about these flowers, but they were already sitting in pools of water, so she couldn't give them more. And the water didn't seem to be helping, either. She carefully picked out a thin stalk covered with tiny star-shaped buds from a bucket to her right--a sprig of baby's breath--and lifted it up to examine it. Full rosy lips tightened into a thin line as the Shadow Frei shook her head softly. No good. These would not do. And all of them felt unnatural. They were cut off from the earth. She paused.
Maybe if she put them back into the earth, they would stop dying? With this thought, the gentle Frei floated out of the booth for a few moments, then drifted closer to the ground near a red-headed walker who Sevilin was now greeting. There. There was a patch of ground next to the walker-person's shoes seemed like a good place. Bending over, Vyn vainly tried to stuff the stalk back into the ground.

Aphismet smiled at the boy, lifting an eyebrow. He'd accepted the sandwiches well enough, but Tyson was definately acting strangely. It probably had to do with the park thing. "So, tell me, now that we're alone... Why don't you want to go to park anymore? You don't like the summer?" Aph looked as open and understanding as he could, scritching at Munchies' belly absently as she rolled around in Tyson's lap, enjoying the attention and letting out a cute string of sing-song chirps.
Rivener blinked at how bold that woman was being. He'd almost barked at her that he'd do whatever he damn well pleases at HIS booth, and she could just go to hell, when the fingers brushing on his hand distracted him.
Turning his ruby eyes to Bard, Riv wondered what, exactly, the purple-haired man was thinking. He smiled slowly, a honey-mellow expression, and leaned in close to whisper in the other's ear, making sure to breathe softly on his skin as he spoke.
"You're cute, Bard, but you're not my type," he finished teasingly, retreating back to the inside of the booth, leaving the cloth in Bard's hand. "I wouldn't say no to your help, though."
A shiver suddenly ran down his spine as he saw HIM. Lazarus. He even greeted him ever so casually! Trying to keep his cool, Riv turned and, with only a minimal blush, grinned brightly. "Hey Laz," he replied to the other's greeting, turning back to his booth and his work immediately after, so that he didn't have to fight the urge to touch him anymore. He knew Laz wouldn't like that.
"So, are you getting another drink or what?" he asked the purple-haired man, smiling at him sensually. Whatever smex vibes he couldn't direct to Lazarus directly, this lucky Bard would get instead. Rivener practically exuded sensuality at the moment.

Ravi blanched a tad when the unknown, bluish Raevan called him out. He felt the urge to say, "Who, me?" but the answer would have been too obvious even for his lack of social skills. No one else around here was as tall as he was, anyway.
He blushed when the Raevan patted his head. What could he say? The gesture was unbearably cute, and a mere poke could send the prudish man into a state of burning ears easily, if well-placed. "What's your name?" he asked. Ravi was unwilling to take his eyes from the Raevan just to pick out a flower.
So enraptured was he by the Raevan before him that he failed to notice the other Raevan below him, bending down at his feet with some flowers in tow. That was until, of course, he felt a strange, soft spattering on the tops of his shoes. Looking down, he saw a severed body - no wait, oh God, it was another Raevan - digging up the dirt at his feet. The Raevan was female, and though she was hunched over, Ravi could distinguish the elegance that seemed present in all Raevans, regardless of soul, or fel essence, or whatever it was that composed them. "Wh-what are you doing?" he asked, trying to be civil. Frankly, he was more surprised than anything. Embarrassing as it was, Raevans could still surprise him. He was chilled now instead of flushing; he'd thought he'd seen a ghost.

Josh bid the other two girls ado and made his way over to the newcomer with the curious tentacles emerged from her back. The boy smiled casually at Alice and waved a hand flippantly in the air, “You heard correctly. It’s nice to meet you Alice.” His eyes brightened at the show of her fangs. Josh idly played with his bracelet as he carefully formed each word in his head before mouthing it out silkily into a conversation, “You definitely don’t seem human. Would it be rude of me to ask exactly what race you are?” His browns eye glinted upwards examining her face as she answered. He even didn't mind trudging along with her to the date booth. In fact, the announcement had intrigued him thoroughly.

To the average person it had looked like Niksia was sitting on the grass sunning herself, pale skinned face tilted toward the sky, but she'd actually fallen asleep sitting up. Her ability to sleep without shifting her pose was astonishing, but she'd likely pay for it later. Amber colored eyes blinking, she stared up at the sun and realized that she'd napped without intending to.
It was too nice, too happy, too friendly. She felt like she was slacking off as she raised herself up and dusted her trousers off. The heat had made her relaxed, her pose a little different now that she had time to shift away from her normal mindset. People made her nervous, crowds were teeth gritting but it was easy to put your mind away and drift along. If only that Raevan at the stall knew...
The announcement for the Date Auction jarred her, what crazy person felt the need to deafen a whole crowd like that? Well, it was better than going to the food and drink stall again, she wasn't ready to play with Rivener again just yet.
Apparently quite a few people had the same idea, a gathering around the auction stall was there and looking at the first offering already. Lick your lips folks, it'll complete the image. The orange haired man stood, looking well equipped to handle the yet to bay crowd. Shame his clothes looked a little rumbled, but was that really shocking in the heat?
Niksia looked up like all the rest, though the balloon bobbing from her shoulder ruined the image a little.

Sevilin giggled at Vyn's pronunciation. "Thats' fine! My guardian can't pronounce my name correctly either, but it sounds cuter when you say it..."
"My name's Sevilin... What's your name, tall-man?" The blue Frei didn't give Ravi any extra personal space as he floated almost face to face with him. Though his fascination with the stranger ended when he noticed Vyn too doing a strange thing. "Err... Vyn--" It was only one flower, but still he was supposed to be selling them.

There were plenty of people crowded around the refreshment booth, but Gage's dedication to his cause had him pushing through the cluster in order to gain access to the two Raevans manning the station. Fortuitously, the amount of people attempting to purchase desserts and drink thinned out as an obnoxiously loud voice announced Julian was the first date to be formally auctioned. Of all the things Gage did not understand, the ability to purchase another person and not even be allowed to keep them was near the top of the list. The first item was how exactly he was supposed to speak with Vyn and ask her to return to Shuura's side when she was bound to take no notice of him in the first place.
In such a situation, even an introverted individual such as the radioactive Frei was in dire need of assistance.
"Lazsus, River, how do I talk to girls?" Gage asked loudly as he slammed his hands palms down on the booth's countertop. While he had not exactly meant to slur the other Raevans' names, or interrupt the humanoids they were speaking to, sometimes sacrifices were necessary in the war to obliterate timid behavior. "Shuu-ra wants me to talk to Vyn and I do not know what to say! And I can not remember the drink she wanted!"

"Nice to meet you too, Josh," she said politely, a force of habit from before her eternal form was awakened. Making her way towards the date booth, she slowed her strides so as to not make the shorter boy's pace quicken unnecessarily. Alice smirked down at the boy, tilting her head so that she could see him easier. "Figured that one out all on your own?" she asked teasingly, but snickered good-naturedly regardless. "And no, it wouldn't I suppose." She tapped her chin, trying to think of a way to explain it as they approached the stage. "I am...hard to explain in words. My physical form is mostly ungulate, cervidae I think," she said, gesturing to her horns, and then too her hooves. "And uhm. ...Kraken." A tentacle waved at Josh in a rather friendly manner, and she bopped it before it had a chance to poke at him. "They rather have a life of their own, sorry," she muttered, glaring at them.

Heading towards the ice cream booth Namini nearly fainted as she witnessed a woman basically falling atop of a Raevan. A camera had been hanging from her neck wildly and Namini believed for a moment that it would somehow fall and shatter the camera lenses. Wanting to rush over and assist in some way or another, or better yet, prevent an unwanted event, she caught herself seeing as how the Raevan was already handling the situation with ease. She felt a small blush creep onto her features as her eyes lingered on the Raevan's face. He was what she considered..beautiful? no..untouchable. With golden skin and hair that blended silver and ruby strands, she felt a wave of nervousness fill her as she watched him enter the ice cream booth as the attendant.
Just..calm down! Smile and just..calm down! Gosh! You're always so easily frightened.." she told herself, pouting a bit. Tightening her grip on her parasole, Namini was about to walk up to the food booth when a lime green Raevan floated forwards and struck the countertop. She took a step back as she noted his interesting markings, mechanical wings, and..brilliant unicorn horn. Leaning forwards a bit, she felt awkward trying to eavesdrop without being noticed. That's when she overheard an odd question which made her blush out of uncertainty,
"..how do I talk to girls?"

Junsu laughed at the watery creatures sudden reaction, and pulled out a $5 dollar bill, leaving it on the counter. Like Jae Eun, he decided to let him keep the change.
Both, however, snapped when a voice calling "Kim" was heard, not surprisingly, both of their family names were 'Kim'. But Jae was the one to jump in recognition. "Ravi!!! she piped, waving excitedly.
As Sevilin rushed past, Junsu lunged and pulled her back in time to avoid a collision, wrapping her in his arms protectively. Luckily, he hadn't grabbed the Iris from its current location, so the flower he had just payed for was...relatively safe...
Jae Eun giggled watching Sevilin flutter with curiosity, while Junsu was distracted by the black and red Frei floating towards the ground. "Um. Jae. What the hell is going on??"
Still being clutched by Jun, Jae finally took in the entire scene in front of her. "Um...Sevilin is excited, the pretty black raevan is trying to plant that flower back in the ground...and Ravi is.....well, he looks like he just saw a ghost of something."

Josh came back to a normal stride along side Alice. Her abnormal height did put a bit of a damper on following her, but Josh enjoyed the fact that the quick pace was giving him a work out. Josh pulled out a teasing tone of his own, “Why yes, I did! Do I get a reward of some sort now?” He gave a slight chuckle and continued on with the discussion enthusiastically. Josh stopped before the rather large stage set up in a grassy clearing. It was adorned with the usual gaudy streamers and confetti littered about. “So you are a mix of two creatures then? How amazing!” The boy was almost about to reach out and touch the tickled pink tentacle offered to him until it was bobbed uselessly away. Josh gave out a disgruntled sigh. Alice may have had to keep an eye more on the straying hands of Josh than of her tentacles.
