Amme felt so exhausted, her head was light and her breath short. She looked up at Atem because she heard his voice. "Blackbird....." she said so he could hear. But it didn't make any sense. Tears flowed out of her eyes and she mummbled enough so he could hear, "I'm sorry......." She started to feel cold and numb.
[[I was wondering, as Seth calls out the Mystic elf, should an archer shoot him and he starts to slowly die? Then a preist should find them in a room and come up with the solution to seal them away until they have recovered? If we do this? Should Atem get wounded as well?]]
[[On a side note, this is a reminder to myself to remember 'blackbird' and the song for the future. Heh, I just had an idea ^___^]]

(that is actually a good idea and then chaos breaks out and they are sealed away till the future?)
Fay watched Seth then heard her brother. She winced as she tried to move to see what happened. She didn't like being left out. She soon gave up because of the pain.
Atem held her close worried. "Amme, please don't you did your best and that's what mattered. I wish you had not gotten hurt, Im the one who is sorry," he said as he held her close scared to loose her.

Seth couldn't waste anymore time. "I call upon the Mystic El......." Seth called out but stopped suddenly. There was a sudden pain in his chest- he didn't know what it was. He looked down to see an arrow threw his chest. Blood splattered out a bit, but not too much, Seth couldn't breath, it hurt to. The arrow had punctured his lung. He kneeled down and laid his head so that he could see Fay. "Fay...." he rasped as it was hard to catch breath to speak. "I'm sorry...... my love....... but.... I'll be..... leaving..... with ....you....." he tried to speak. He had failed her.
Amme felt very tired, her body was numb now so she couldn't feel anything anymore. Her eyes were dimmed and her skin was turning paler. She couldn't think of words to say, nor able to form them. All she kept saying was in a low voice, "I love you......" She let Atem hold her close.
The priest of the Millennium Items was running and trying to hide from the raids. He, as most priests, had a duty to protect the Pharaoh and royalty. He nor anybody else had seen the Pharaoh, so as well as hiding to stay safe- he was also looking for them.
[[I guess Atem should get wounded as well?]]

Fae felt tears come to her eyes. "Seth, we will be alright," she said softly as she felt the tears fall. she didnt know what to do now as she laid her hands on seth's head and ran her fingers through his hair.
Atem watched what happened and also felt his world was falling apart as he held Amme. As he tried to stop the blood he saw someone come to the door sword drawn. He grabed his own weapon. he had to protect his family he fought the person off but didn't come off without a wound. Atem ended up getting cut across his back. Atem staggered back to Amme and the others and kneeled down. He took Amme back in his arms then said "amme I love you too," then felt light headed as he laid down beside Amme.

The Priest came into the same chamber where all four of them were. He gasped, how could this have happened? "My Pharoah?! High Preist Seth?!" he said in fear as he saw those two first. He then saw Fay and Amme as well, he turned his head- feeling sick. Not even the women were spared. "I'm no healer," he said as he rolled up his sleeves, "but I know a way to save your souls." He went to Seth and Fay first since they seemed more wounded and near death. "This wasn't your times yet. The gods have told me. That's why I was made to be the Priest who knew the sacred arts of the Millennium items. They taught me this ritual in case of such a tragedy," he said.
"Can you just.....do it...." Seth said impatiantly and feeling more and more near his end. "Help her first....." he added with such rasp in his breath it was hard to make out.
"Oh yes! Of course!" the priest said as he hurried. He found Fay's Millennium item and placed it on her chest. He spoke the ritual quickly- so that her soul would be locked in the item. "Rest asure Princess, there will be a time where your soul will be awakened. A time when you are needed. And the gods will not forget your kind heart or this tragedy," he said. Her item glowed- absorbing her soul.
Seth let the tears roll down his eyes as he saw Fay no longer move or heard her breath. "I'll see you again, my love," he rasped.
Amme was frightened when Atem left her side. She didn't want to be alone. She felt a bit better when he came back to her side- laying beside her. Even though things were getting hazy and she couldn't see well- she somehow knew he was hurt. "Your..... hurt......." she said trying to heal him but was too weak. Her eyesight was blured and dark now. She was scared, she didn't want to die but felt herself slipping away. She mummbled nonsense again- slipping from conscous to unconscous. The last thing she said that was clearly said was, "Blackbird," again. She then came back to conscousness- unaware what just happened. She stayed in Atem's arms.
"Ok High Priest, it's your turn," he said as he started the same ritual for him.

Atem looked at Amme. "Stay with me just a little longer Amme," he said as he felt cold. he didn't know what he could do as he watched his sister turn limp and her soul sealed. A tear ran down his face.

"You'll rearise when the time is needed, High Priest Seth. You will be invisible for long, sealed for long. But once accepted you'll rearise," the priest said as he finished the ritual. Seth was sealed away in his rode. He laid Seth down on the ground. If this situation ever blew over- all of them would need a proper burial. He moved to the Pharoah and Amme. "My Pharoah, your wife to be is almost gone- I'll seal her before you. Just hang on," he said as he kneeled before Amme. "Healer, your kid heart was not unseen by the gods. You'll need to heal someone before coming back to this world. Ammeterasu- mother to all that is good," he said as he started to seal her. It wasn't his personal input the words he spoke to all of them were the words of the gods that used this priest as a vessle.
Amme's eyes were closed but she was breathing slightly. Her body was exhausted. She heard Atem, and dazed off as the Priest spoke. She was sealed in her orb.
"My Pharoah, are you ready?" he said as he moved from Amme to Atem.

Atem nodded as he tried to keep his breathing steady and calm. He didn't want to do to much before what the priest did. Atem waited and looked upon those he held close to his heart all laying dead now a smile went to his lips knowing that they were no longer in pain and eventually they would come back, they all would. Atem closed his eyes Amme the last he looked upon as he waited.

"My Pharoah, the gods would never let such a tragedy go unseen. You may not know it now, but you are destined to save the world in the future. Not only that, but to wake up you'll have to meet your opposite and you both must find balance. Don't ever forget your name- it is Pharoah Ate....." the priest said but was disrupted during his ritual. An enemy had struck him on the back of his head. The enemy thought that was enough to kill him and ran off. The priest fell to the side unconscous. No, he wasn't dead- just knocked out. Though he was interupted, Atem's soul was sealed. Hopefull nothing went wrong.
Outside, Blue eyes was destroying the enemy. Little did everyone know that these where the men that kidnapped Faylia before. Blue eyes spared none of these evil men. When the mass of them were gone, the guards searched all through out the Palace of any other of these sinners. The Palace was cleared but they had found all four of them dead. The Pharoah, the Princess, the High Priest, and the Healer. The priest of the items finally came to when the guards shook him.
"Ah, wha?" he said, "Ow, my head...." He was asked what happened and he explained. They were all sealed and safe right now.
They would need to find replacement bodies for them. Little did they know, they would not be able to because of the attack to follow after- Bakura's attack. The era of Egypt ended and history played out as we know it.
Our story now starts in the present day- Domino, Japan.
[[should we do profiles for our hikaris or just start? doesn't bother me either way]]
[[ps: the interuption during the priests' sealing of Atem is why he lost his memory. Had to figure out why. So I did that]]

(she has not made it to the turtle game shop lol)Onyx was walking down the street her plane had landed early. She had a single travel bag since she had maybe three sets of cloths and her two uniforms. She had stayed there but borrowed clothes from her friend. She didn't want to buy much because her money was limited. She smiled now seeing as it was a good thing. She pushed ber brown hair out of her face. Her eyes were kind as she made her way towards the game shop. Her grandfather would freak out about how she made it here. It had taken a few buses and then this walk. She didn't mind it though it allowed her to see a lot of Japan.
She arrived and stood outside the shop not sure how to enter. She was nervous She had just about entered high school at the Academy but now she was going to go to a new school with her brother who she had yet to meet. She had lived the summer with a friend who helped her get ready to come to Japan. She took a deep breath and entered the shop.

Akiko went through her last box. She and her family had been unpacking since moving to their new house. "Ah, last one," she said with a smile. She finally got her room the way she wanted it. The last thing she pulled out was a small ceramic spinx. She put it on her shelf filled with other ceramic pieces- mainly in the themes of egypt, greek, native america, japanese, and foxes. She put her hands on her hips and smiled, "Perfect!" She then plopped on her bed and looked up at the ceiling. She was so nervous moving here. Afterall, it was across an ocean to where she previously lived. Akiko used to live in the US, but her family moved here for three reasons. One, her father had a better job oppritunity here (promotion); two, Akiko wanted to become a nurse and the best school for nursing was actually in Domino; and three, her mother was Japanese and missed her home country. It seemed perfect to move here. But even so, Akiko missed her old friends. She turned on her side and looked at the photo of all of them that was in a frame on her desk. She sighed a bit. Akiko was such a nervous girl that the thought of having to make new friends left her in a slight panic. Even though she was very outgoing with people she knew, she was shy at first. She sighed one more time as she grabbed a hold of a stuffed animal fox who she named 'kitsu' and held it close to her.
Seto Kaiba was doing what he always did everyday- worked at his own corporation. Yes, Seto Kaiba was perhaps the most successful teenager in Japan- perhaps the worls. His business, Kaiba Corp, was in the top ten most successful businesses. And what did his business do? Focus on games. Usually resorting to virtual reality and holograms. He also based a lot of games of off the game Duel Monsters. Anyway, Kaiba was at his desk at his home office. He was awfully tired though- he pulled anouther all nighter and still hasn't stopped. He felt like he couldn't- how could he trust those idiots he called 'workers' with his life work? He scratched his head and looked at his empty cup of coffee. That's what he needed, another coffee. He buzzed for his secretary and demanded another coffee from her ASAP.

Onyx entered to find the shop pretty much empty. "Hello anyone here?" she called as she stood in the middle of the shop. She looked around wondering if yugi would recognize her it has been quite a few years since she had seen anyone but those at the school.
When onyx called out Yugi got up from the table to see who had entered the shop. The puzzle hung from his neck as he walked out to see Onyx. "Miss what can i do for you?" he asked as he felt like he knew this new costumer.
"Is solomon Moto here today?" she asked as she put her left hand in her pocket which held an old picture well worn by the years and many looks at it. She didn't know if she should just drop the bomb on Yugi or not.

The secretary finally brought him some coffee. He glared at her, a bit ticked off it wasn't brought to him sooner. "Finally," he said aloud while she was still there. After she left, he growled and said to himself, "Why can't I ever find somebody that is dependable? Is that so hard to ask?" He chugged his coffee down- trying to snap out of his state of sleepiness. He couldn't go to sleep now, he was so close to finishing his work. And he wasn't going to let some idiot do his unfinished work and mess it up. He sighed as he continued.
Akiko remained laying there. She was only brought back to reality when there was a knock on her door. "Akiko?" a voice came from outside her door. It was her mother. She opened the door and continued speaking, "Akiko, your not just going to lie around here all day are you?"
"Ma, I don't have anything to do," she said as she sat up and kicked her legs around since they dangled from the floor. "Although I could just always play a video game- I've been meaning to finish that new Zelda game."
"Too bad, I'M beating that game today. After all, I bought it," her mother said as she crossed her arms. Yes, Akiko's mother played video games- and was the person souly responsible for getting Akiko herself into games. "Go out and take a look around town. You might find something interesting."
[[later, I'll also play Joey]]
