Tilly was happily dancing when Ger squished her. Looking up at him she tapped her paw it time to the slow music, making a 'yuck' face and stuck her tongue out. Then she picked it up, tapping to the speed in her mind, smiling and wagging her tail. "Ger!"
Halcyon wagged her tail slowly. "Okay. We can dance." She went to the floor's edge and looked back at Naito, waiting.
Following Raisa to the floor, not realizing she had lead him to the center, Ivan couldn't get the smile off his maw. Standing in front of her, he said quietly, and a little selfconciously, "I'm afraid I don't really know how to dance. You'll have to show me."
Getting a wriggly feeling inside when Blair agreed with new friends over toys, Garaden sighed happily. "They do seem to have good ideas." He agreed. Feeling her look around he reopened his eyes and looked too. Spotting Ivan near the center of the room with Raisa, Garaden's jaw dropped. "I don't believe it." He whispered in suprise.

Ammy looked at Atreyu and smiled. She barked saying that Rudolf and Garaden are getting close to Endless and Blair. She also said that Raisa and Ivan finally got together to dance. She mention that a pup had gotten in and was hanging out with Roland and Gerwulf.
Rudolf smiled at Endless glad she had dodged his paw. "Yes well working out." He said with a small laugh, "Do not you like Christmas music?" He enjoyed being near Endless and was getting used to dancing.
Gerwulf looked at Tilly and gave her a stern look. "You need to calm down a bit." He said letting go of her, "I don't mind if you dance but you need to pay attention to your surroundings and you need to calm down." He looked over at Roland but he wasn't there. Roland had slipped out of the room going to do who knows what.

Naito smiled a bit and followed her to the dance floor. "To tell you the truth...I've never danced before."

"I don't know how to dance either so we're just going to have to improvise."
Raisa looked to Garaden and then to Rudolf, noticing what they were doing. She listened to the music and then nodded.
"Alright, you just shuffle your paws back and forth and sway with the beat of the music." Raisa took a step towards him and began to shuffle on her paws to the music. "See, like this... it's pretty simple." She flashed him a quick smile and then went back to concentrating on her paws and looking at his paws to see if he could do it.
Atreyu nodded, looking over to Garaden and then at Rudolf. He then noticed Ivan and Raisa and laughed.
"I see he got over his fear of girls really quickly." Atreyu looked at Ammy and then smirked. "This is really nice watching everyone... we're like one strange family."
"No, I really enjoy Christmas music.." She winced when she heard Kai hit a particularly sour note in his singing. "Minus Kai singing. It's really peaceful and reminds me of such a great holiday... it's just that Christmas always seems like such a happy and family sort holiday where you're with a whole bunch of people. I don't remember my first Christmas much but I was certainly alone." She looked to Rudolf and tilted her head. "Do you like Christmas music?"
Blair looked to Ivan and Raisa and she laughed.
"What is it? Do you know that male with Raisa?" Blair asked, enjoying watching Raisa attempt to dance.

Ammy nodded. It is nice to sit back and watch everyone else. She looked at Atreyu strangely before barking about what he first said, Ivan was scared of girls? She shook her head thinking that was silly of a guy to think that.
Rudolf winced as well when Kai hit a sour note. "Blame you not for disliking singing Kai." He said, "I like music Christmas." He looked at Endless and tilted his head. "Christmas supposed be with family and happy." He said seriously, "Why you alone Christmas first? I remember not first Christmas but believe I not alone."

"Well, he was never afraid of girls...maybe I should rephrase that." Atreyu looked at Ammy and tilted his head. "I just always had a feeling that he was a little shy around girls... it's nice to see that he wasn't and that he's happy. He's like my little brother and it kind of makes me proud." He laughed and shook his head.
Endless laughed and ignored Kai who continued to sing.
"I was alone my first Christmas because my old owner had gone on a trip and left me behind to guard our home." Endless explained. "I guess it was nice in the end because it snowed on Christmas Eve and I got to play in the snow." She shook her head and sighed. "Well, if you don't remember your first Christmas...you should make new memories with this Christmas."

Tilly copied Ger's stern look, then reached up and licked his nose. She turned to paw at Roland but he had disappeared. She spun in a circle looking for him. She stopped when she was facing Ger again and tilted her head at him sadly. "Rolan'?"
Laughing softly, Halcyon nodded. "This will be a first for me too. We can learn it together."
Ivan nervously licked his nose and took a step closer to Raisa. Watching her closely, and nearly falling over at her smile, he tried to match her shuffle. "Like this?" He looked around at the other dancers too, spotting Garaden staring with his mouth open. Remembering that this would be the first time the kid had seen him do anything with a female, Ivan flashed him a half smile and a 'what-can-I-say' shrug. He refocused on his dancing partner. 'When should I tell her? How?' He wondered to himself.
Garaden caught Ivan's look/gesture and laughed out loud. "If Raisa is the female with wings then yes. He's my guardian." He said to Blair. "Up to now I thought he was just a stay-single kind of guy. Atreyu told me he was shy around girls, but now I don't think he was actually shy around them. I think he was just shy around Raisa. I bet he likes her, a lot." He looked at Blair and his smile changed, softened. "And I also think I know how he feels, liking a pretty girl." He said gently.

"Yes, you're doing really good Ivan. I don't know what you were so afraid about earlier." Satisfied she taught him the steps to the dance, she fluttered her wings and turned in a small circle to the beat of the music. She began to giggle and did one more circle before facing Ivan again. "Isn't this fun?" She asked, picking up the shuffle paw dance.
"Yeah, that's Raisa." Blair said, nodding her head. She watched him and she let out an 'awww'. "I think you're right. I think he seems really nervous with her." She continued to watch them and her ears twitched at his comment. She instantly flushed and laid her ears against her head, instantly shy. "You do?" Was all she could think of to say to him but she returned his soft smile.

Naito smiled lightly. "Thanks...same for me. Now how do we start off?" He tried moving his feet around although it was sloppy.

Ivan smiled weakly, still feeling goofy being on the dance floor. "It-" He started to say it wasn't the dancing that had made him run off earlier, but how could he tell her that he had been afraid to show her he cared about her. He was a knight for crying out loud. Suddenly Raisa spun around, throwing him off. Pausing, he just watched her flutter and giggle. "Fun." He said with a wistful smile.
Garaden cringed when Blair layed her ears flat and asked if he did, thinking she didn't like what he'd said. But she smiled back, and he wagged his tail. "Yes, I do." He said. "It's a very new feeling for me, but I like how it feels. I'm sure it's the same thing."
Looking at Naito's dance, then looking at the others on the floor, Halcyon tried to meet them in the middle. It was different than what the others were doing, but it was fun. She giggled quietly and smiled at Naito, wagging her tail to show how she felt.

Folding her wings against her back again, Raisa continued to sway in front of Ivan. This was turning out to be a pretty nice night after all... her very first party and everything was going so well! She even got the chance to finally dance with Ivan.
"This party is really fun. I'm glad you guys thought it up." Raisa said, nodding her head.
"Jingle bell, Jingle bell, Jingle Roooock!" Kai howled, moving his paws to the tempo of the music. He ignored the fact that Atreyu had looked away from Ammy for a brief moment and was looking at him as if he had lost his mind.
Blair wagged her tail as well and she pawed at the ground.
"I guess these season is for new feelings too.." Blair said softly. She pawed at him lightly. "I know for sure that I've never felt my heart beat so quickly before...that's very new to me..." She looked to him, she looked up at him; not shy anymore.

Naito laughed a bit. "You're actually doing really good for a beginner." He then looked at the others. "If I didn't say so. It looks like a lot are in lover's paradise."

Garaden nodded when she added feelings to the list of new Christmas things. When she clarified how she knew about new feelings, it was his turn to be shy spoken. "Really?" He asked, curling his tail a little tighter around hers.
"I'm glad we did too." He smiled and closed his eyes, remembering that he had actually been the one to mention it to Atreyu. Thanking profusely whatever it was that made him suggest it, he began swaying slowly to the 'music' playing in his mind.
Smiling thanks, Halcyon also looked at the crowd. Naito was right, most were snuggled close swaying in time. Ivan and Raisa seemed to be the only difference, dancing in front of each other, but she suspected it wouldn't be long until they were snuggled too. She looked back at Naito and tilted her head. "Does it make you nervous?" She liked dancing with him, but if he felt only couples were dancing and they were out of place, she would stop.

Ammy nodded finally understanding what Atreyu was talking about. She barked saying that she had the feeling that he was shy. She looked at Kai when he started to sing Jingle Bell Rock. He was a horrible singer but it was hilarious to watch.
Ger laughed at Tilly stern look. He nuzzled her and shook his head. "Looks like he left. He probably had something else to do." He said.
"Ah see I." Rudolf said taking a breath to help his nerves, "I make memories new Christmas with friends new. Perhaps too you?" He continued dancing but slowed down a bit so he could look in Endless' eyes.

Raisa's thoughts had drifted away from their dancing and she turned to look at everyone else in the room. They were all content off in their own worlds and she looked to Kai who was still singing but it didn't seem like she could hear him. She turned back to Ivan and noticed his eyes were closed. Her tail swayed slightly and she instantly picked up his slower tempo and began to sway with him, still continuing to do her paw shuffle. She closed her eyes as well, letting herself savor this moment.
Atreyu continued to stare at Kai like he was crazy and shook her head.
"I worry about him at times.." He chuckled to himself and continued to watch everyone else.
"Of course Rudolf." Endless said with a nod, meeting Rudolf's gaze and staring at him intently. "It's always nice to be with new friends on Christmas."
"Yes and...I really like how it feels." Blair said before laying her head once more against him, happy and content for the moment. With their tails locked, she was at peace and her heart was still beating fast and she enjoyed the feeling of it.
