A little hesitant, Haruko nodded. He was unsure if this was going to work. His attacks and defense seemed so clumsy next to Seiko's. Still, he was going to try his best. He focused on doling out his chakra in even doses among the water molecules. He pulled a good amount of water out to work with. Slowly, he crafted the likeness of a body. It wasn't completely perfect, but...it wasn't bad either. Not by a long shot.

"See, better than before."

Seiko forced a smile and walked over to the clone and stood next to it.

"Now, something new. Try and solidify the body so that when it punches me it can actually do damage."

He stood next to it expecting it to hit him

The fist hit Seiko and it was hard enough so that the fist wouldn't fall apart after impact. The body remained in tact and in good shape. He smiled and knew that he could do it.

"Good. Now that you've got that down, lets practice making the clone look like you or anyone. Lets just get henge down with the clone."

He smiled and hoped he could figure it out in one shot. It wasn't a difficult thing to do but we'd see his true genius at work

Haruko was pleased to see that his clone had hit the teacher. To be honest, he hadn't really expected it to work. That part of the training hadn't proved to be too difficult. Now, the finishing touches. The Henge part. Haruko had long since mastered the Henge no Jutsu. So he wasn't expecting to have any problems with it now. He gathered his chakra, focusing on an image of himself. With a bit of concentration, he cast the jutsu on the clone. He studied the finished product. It was good. Perhaps not as good as some could make it. But it was certainly no shabby job. He grinned in triumph at Seiko.

"Good, now, lets control his movements. Make it mimic me."

Seiko took many artistic poses. Some derived from martial arts and others that were just plain silly. He posed with the classic peace pose and some more serious like punching or kicking. He made sure to check every range of motion.

Haruko laughed aloud at the myriad of poses that Seiko showed him. He looked to his clone, and it looked back. He sighed at the indignity of making "himself" go through some of those motions...But it had to be done. He set about first with that peace move, but didn't get very far before he ran into trouble. The clone's coordination seemed to be off. Haruko was having trouble getting the right parts to move at the right time. He let out a frustrated groan. "Man! Who thought it would be this much work? It wasn't nearly this hard with just the Bunshin..." He shook his head. "No wonder they don't teach this one to the students. Learning to control a shadow was bad enough at the time..."

"Try again... i'm not going through the poses again, you know what to do, I'm only here to tell you what your doing wrong. You have to figure out how to do it right."

Seiko began to circle Haruko as he made the seals to form the technique and to get the movements perfect.

Haruko felt a hint of nerves as Seiko began circling him like a shark. Still, he dismissed it from his mind. No use getting distracted. He focused on the clone -- imagining everything as muscles, just like he would for his own body. That visual seemed to help because when he went through the motions this time, the clone moved perfectly. "Ha!" His grin was ferociously happy. "Got it that time!"

"Perfect... now we work on the hardest part... Because the water of the water clone is mixed in with your own chakra it will be very difficult to move the further apart it is alway from you. So in this next exercise we will work on your control to see how far your distance is with it... I want you to move it as far away as possible."

Seiko pointed in the direction of the way he wanted the clone to walk.

Haruko nodded, directing his clone to walk. He wasn't sure what the point of this exercise was. If he could make it do all of the intricate movements of earlier, then surely this would be no problem, right? Yet...the farther away it got, the weaker his control over it became. At around thirty feet or so -- maybe a little more -- its gait became stilted as he lost the finesse that he'd gained. Finally, it collapsed back into water as he lost all of the control over it. He took a deep breath, more worn out than he would have thought possible from such a simple exercise. "Was that good?" He had never seen anyone send a clone out to test distance. But he desperately hoped that he hadn't just embarrassed himself.

"That was better"

He smiled and nodded. He had almost down, and he was impressed on how far he could send his clone. Seiko formed the necessary hand seals and moved slowly so that Hakuro could watch as a water clone rose next to him.

"Next... lets see how it does it live combat."

Haruko grimaced. This was going to be hard. He obediently created another water clone, taking care in its construction. He had no doubt that Seiko was about to take his clone to its limits. Standing back a little ways, Haruko sent the clone in on the offensive. The clone charged, sending a swift roundkick at the other clone's neck.

The clone's kick was met with the same the same kind. And the water clone that Seiko had made slowly changed into Hakuro himself. Seiko knew exactly which one was his but he wondered if Hakuro could remember which one was his.

As the other clone shifted, Haruko cursed inwardly. The two clones looked enough alike that Haruko was having a bit of difficulty telling which one was his. If he confused the two and instructed his clone to jump left when he really should be jumping right...It wouldn't end very well. He stared -- almost frantically -- at the clones. But his sharp eyes picked up a couple details that Seiko had apparently missed. His wide, confident grin returned. "Ha! Nice try!" He had to admit though. It had been a clever move on his sensei's part.
