I get the feeling 4Kids dropped UM because of the reception it got in Japan. They angered a lot of people with the censoring of the kanji on Meat's forehead.

I'm a dummy and I have to ask.. what's the kanji on his forehead supposed to mean?
note: and you can make the kanji here on the internet---> |:< look real hard and tilt your head to the right and it'll be a facial expression you commonly find on Meat XD!!

It's the katakana for 'Niku', which is the same symbol on Kin and Mantaro's head.. XD Except their's is kanji.
