Ohhhh no, when bartending such a run-down place like Hog's Head, you can BET I'd take any chance I got to hear a customer's story. 8O

...Woah... what if the customer has a reaaaally lame story, though? ...Like...what if someone comes in and wants to tell you about how they've collected stamps all their life, but all their valuable stamps got wiped out in the tragic stamp fire of '04, and now they're thinking about switching to collecting bottlecaps, cause they're made out of metal and they'd be a lot harder to burn, but then they just don't know if they can summon the strength to start a new collection because they're so depressed about the loss of their dear stamp collection that they're sure that starting a new collection would only end in the same sort of tragic heart break, holy crap this is the longest sentence in the world, maybe I should put a period or something in here and start a new sentence, that would be a good idea, but I don't seem to be doing it, OH MY CRAPZ0RZ THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I CONSUME CAFFEINE AFTER MIDNIGHT I NEED TO STOP TYPING HOLYCRAPHOLYCRAPHOLYCRAP!!!! @.@...... x_x

*shoots snape with a tranquilizer gun* There, there, professor... but to answer your question, yes, even the most mundane of stories customers might bring with them would keep me at least a little more awake while keeping up this place. =.=z

Man, the way you describe that person's reluctance to start a new collection is like .. EXACTLY like my reluctance to draw nowadays. I still gotta get in teh habit of just biting my tongue, putting the pencil to the paper and draw without worrying about how imperfect the end results might be. @_@;

I know what you mean. I still haven't been able to draw anything for...well...it's probably been around a year or more since I've finished a picture. I start drawing something, and I get 1/3-1/2 way through it and thing "you know...this sucks" and just kind-of abandon it...it's a downer. >_O;

I finally finished reading all the HP books last night!

My first reaction: (spoiler in white text)GAAAAAHHHHHHH I CAN'T BELIEVE SNAPE KILLED DUMBLEDORE A;ODAJF;DAJ!!(spoiler end!) It makes me so anxious for the next book cuz I JUST DON'T WANNA BELIEVE IT and I'm holding onto the tiniest thread of hope that Snape's not REALLY ...well, the way he appears, but that it really really reeeeeeally looks that way. confused Um... yeah. 8P

*sets out festive candies all over the bar* cool

Well... this is a bit grotty, but it'll do...

Please may I have a gillywater with the olive and pretty umbrella on that little stick?

Oh, and a shot of old odgens fire whiskey for later?
