"Kaori, I don't have any fighting skills that would be useful here. It's been three years since I've practiced fencing, and I haven't even brought a rapier. How good are you in a fight?" Bert says to Kaori, he was never the bravest person around but he did not want any of his friends to get hurt. "I can navigate these twists and turns in Arisa's mind but I don't like the idea of leaving you here."

"Kaori, follow me we will split up and search together the faster we get this over with the less we have to worry about Dart going berserk. Anyway whatever you can use to prevent yourself from getting lost use it. "Bert grabs Kaori's hand and rushes towards the fork. He lets go and points to the right and says "You go to the right, I'll take the right."

"Apparently those kids have left me with the dragon." Dart said with a grin on his face while the dragon came rushing towards him, this time he was to distracted to dodge, so he extended two blades from his wrist and used the back edge on the dragons neck to try to move himself away and possibly stun the dragon.

"Whew, that was close. If the dragon continues to gain speed, then if the pendant is broken, the dragon will surely kill me. I hope." Dart said watching the dragons swift movements.

"I wonder what this dragon wants from me, I can guess it intends to kill me, too bad I don't intend to kill him unless given the true reasons to his attacks...I realy got to stop talking to myself." Dart said as a serious grin came across his face((hello oxymoron moment)).

"Hey angel, any chance you'd talk to me, you look like someone that could talk. And you are as beautiful as Arisa...WOAH! Dart said as the dragon swooped into his kidney and riped it out, also eating some of Dart's scales.

"Good thing I only need one of those, and I still have the other, but you ate some of my scales dragon. Are you gonna catch on fire now?" Dart said holding his side shoving a blade from his rib cage out to cover the wound and prevent massive blood loss. Surely enough a few seconds after the dragon ate the scales, it started to burn, but not at a constant rate, only when it attacked Dart.

"Apparently your gonna keep ignoring. That just gives me more reason to believe you are racist and don't talk to demons." Dart said with a smile and then turned to the dragon which was coming at him way to fast. Dart's greatest weakness is his sence of humor. He's to easily distracted with his jokes that he can never seem to pay attension. Dart's life flashed before his eyes. Then he had felt a tickle in his nose and he sneezed right as the dragon's beak hit his rib cage.

Dart was laughing, then he held onto his chest thinking that if he weren't so stupid and easily distracted by his jokes he wouldn't have been wounded so many times. I was then he remembered that Bert had sent his thought waves to his head. And Dart was wondering if Bert could hear his thought's if he meant them to be heard. He decided to test this theory of his. Then maybe he could contact Kaori and we could talk to eachother with his head as common ground. Dart's shoulder wound healed up.

Bert, can you hear me. If so please respond. I think that you, me, and Kaori can keep in contact if we use your head as common ground and you allow us to use your head. I have nearly been killed by the dragon. Luckly I sneezed, why didn't you worn me my comedy could cause my downfall. My shoulder has finaly healed from the wound the dragon had caused, this dragon is starting to get much faster, and much stronger. The angel is probaly thinking that I'm evil and isn't talking to me. She just hates me, because I have Dark red scales...racist. Now that I got that out of my system I forgot to tell you that I think the dragon's fire got extinguished, it didn't flame up when it hit me; How are you holding up?

I'm surprised that it worked, but anyway what are you doing, my a** hurts.

I can't help, because the dragon will chase me, putting you in harms way. I may not be able to beat this dragon, In which case, You, Kaori, and Arisa get to chose who runs my bar. Here it comes again!

Dart shot out four spikes from his chest at the dragon, these spikes were marinated in Dart's blood so they have a stunning effect to them. The dragon lightly turns to the side of Dart which he had eaten his kidney and ate the sword stopping Dart from dieing, then Dart quickly made a sword come out in it place. Dart patted the dragons head and promised to be back and made the same promise to the angle.

I knocked out the dragon. I can come now, although don't be surprised if you see me mortaly wounded, and missing a kidney. The dragon is a fairly worthy advisery, maybe if it were human-like it could be my rival, it reminds me of my brother in a way. Any way I'll be there as soon as I can, I'm keen in on your energy signature; what should I name the dragon?

Great, the witch tries to touch Bert with a shocking grasp (yes I went into DnD) Bert easily dodged because of his telepathy. His mental line wnet dead for a bit as he focused on the witch. He predicted an opening in her guard and made a left hook which caught her right in the gut.
The withch then backhanded him with a gush of wind sending him flying again. I don't know how much longer I can hold her off but she seems somewhat... familiar. I think it's the witch who originally cursed me but what is she... Bert's transmission as it were was cut short as the witch had cast a bright, blinking light which put him into another seizure.
