((Here's my Xander. Starting off in my own way-- my other character to be brought in, surprisingly, later.))
Xander awoke with a start in his bed, his face full of sweat beads, sheets drenched from the persperation that covered his body. He huffed, recalling the dream he had just finished having. It was the last battle in Sunnydale all over again. All it had been was a nightmare, only this time, he could see Anya's death happening in front of him, even though he wasn't the one present at the time of it. Andrew had. Sitting up and tossing off the covers, Xander wiped his face and found his towel sitting on the dresser, almost alone, save for the few items he tossed on there moments ago. Only he didn't want his watch right now. Time was his enemy, strange enough for him. Wrapping it around his waist, he found a bathroom to shower in, enjoying the cool water hitting his body. It was as if he had been washing away all his depression, one of his biggest fears- to have already happened- from that day. Unfortunate for him, it hadn't worked. Not like he was gonna ask Will for a spell to make it go away. He knew to forget, it made things a hundred times worse. Besides, he didn't want to forget about his best friends. Turning the shower off, he dried off and tossed on a clean pair of clothes. A black button up tee, with his plain old blue jean pants. The eye patch, to have covered his one eye. Such discomfort the sweat caused around it. Luckily no one saw him take it off and clean around it. Taking in a deep breath, Xander tried some positive thoughts for the day. He couldn't put up with seeing the others. Especially a few of the girls. Heading downstairs, he only prepared himself for the hours ahead of him.

Willow flicked her fingers, thereby allowing the man to move freely. "Sorry, but.... well, that's just how it is." She was still a bit peeved at Amy interrupting her peaceful day.

Buffy shrugged her shoulders, turned around and headed to the kitchen. Someone was coming down the stairs, making little noise, and Buffy hoped they were hungry, cuz she was about to begin lunch. However, upon walking into the kitchen, she realized someone was beating her to the punch. Phoenix was marinating a mountain of steaks.
"Well, I'll make a can of soup or something," Buffy said, to no one in particular.

When Atticus was free, he sheathed his sword, throwing a glare at the demon and the...witch. But he didn't say anything else to them as he made for the front door.
"Hey...no hard feelings, okay Big Man?" Lorne said cheerfully, trying to lighten up the mood. But the only response was silence. He listened as the front door opened and closed, signaling the man leaving the mansion.
He looked at Buffy. "I can smell a demon hater without him even having to sing. What was his problem?!" Before the question was answered though, Lorne turned to Willow.
"Willy-POO!" he shouted as he opened his arms and embraced her tightly. "I miss your clever spells to return Angel's soul and freeze men in their tracks!!"

Xander found his way to the kitchen, recognising his own friend's footsteps. He slid his hand against the border of the wall, passing through and leaning on the counter. "Can of soup? Come on, is that the breakfast of champions?" He smiled that teasing way, tapping his fingers on the counter. Even if Buffy knew he was still drowning himself in that day, trying to let himself go of it, he knew Buffy wasn't going to press on it. "What's going on around here? I wake up and there's a whole lot of scuffling..."((sidebar from an unnamed moderator - please keep the siggy's out of the rp, for they take up too much space and make it hard to read. and the speech should be a colored font, but everything else black. thank you for your posts, by the way, which are a better quality than some.))

When Atticus got outside the gates around the mansion, he looked around, wondering which way would be the quickest to get home. Either way, he was walking.
He took a long sigh as he headed back to town, being sure to keep an eye out for an unusual activity. Though it was daylight, certain demons could still attack you, and Atticus didn't like the fact that he was vulnerable with this wound. Though it was healing abnormally fast-like all of his wounds did-it was still slightly painful and could be a tiny Achilles Heel if the moment came.

"Xand". Buffy exclaimed, grinning. "It's french onion.. you know you want some... and I can heat a mean can of soup. Want?" She came and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. He still looked tired, despite sleeping.. or resting.. for the last 3 days. She hadn't seen him, but this house was so big.. Buffy zoned out, recalling the time a few months ago when Giles and Dawn had kept missing each other for 2 weeks. Funny, she thought, and giggled aloud. Catching the look from Phoenix, she half-smiled, and set about the simple task of can-opening.

Andrew, donned in hsi newly purchased duds, pushed down the stairs into the hallway, then across to the kitchen. The first thing he saw soem girl making steaks. "I'm hungry," he whined to no one in particular. All he had had all day was an orange. He knew he should of gotten that subway in the mall, but he had already felt bad about taking all of Dawn's money. He grabbed a box of cereals and poured it into the bowl, planning to eat it dry. The second thing he saw was Xander. He stood there for a second, unsure as to what to do. He hadn't really seen Xander, since... that day. It had been a flurry of events with the Watchers, the Council, and Giles. He put his bowl down and put a crispin his mouth, before finally mumbling, "Hi, Xander... Long time." He didn't really know how to act. Xander had always been the only person he identified with in the house, but now... he didn't know.

Xander couldn't help the slight cute humor of Buffy's, as he had always enjoyed seeing her in that bit of a chipper mood. Especially over soup. And since she wasn't the only Slayer, she could enjoy life some more. "Eh, why not? I'm not picky. I'm pretty sure my stomach will swallow me whole if I don't eat soon enough." He waved his index finger in the air. "I used to wonder if that could happen." A faded grin, Xander looked to Phoenix, just to be nosey, then Buffy again. "So, what's brought your mood up?" It was now the care you could hear in his voice, the serious part of him. Then, his head turned as he heard Andrew's voice, that complaint of being hungry. He hadn't expected a greeting from him, but odd enough, it made him happy. Andrew was also in his dream. Fighting beside the one woman he loved- and lost. It brought at least a little bit of a higher mood. "Hey," he greeted back, a short smile. To him, it didn't seem like a long time. But why say that to him? "Why don't you join us for some soup? Apparently, Buffy's mastering the kitchen again. Scared? Very." He figured he might as well put in some humor, as he normally had. To break the awkward silence.

Buffy didn't really like Xander's comment about being eaten by his stomach. She hadn't noticed it, since they were a part of each other's lives on a daily basis...but he was thin. Thin like, high school thin. Which considering the body he had gotten while working in the construction business, was very depressing, she thought, as she subtly added croutons to the soup in order to thicken it up. She pulled out 2 more cans, adding them to the mix, the went to the fridge, smiling at Phoenix, who was on her way out of the kitchen. Getting the mozzarella, she listened as Andrew greeted Xander, and vice versa, taking pretend offense to the comment Xander made. "Hey... I can bake, at least. You know those presliced things? The cookies? Easy as that ." she said, snapping her fingers, and thus dropping the mozzarrella into the pot. Damn, she thought. Paying more attention to the food, she finally got it all together, and presented the boys with large bowls of soup, sprinkled on top with the mozz. "Eat up."

Xander crossed his arms over his chest as Buffy prepared the food. "Eh, you know I was just foolin' with ya." Running one hand back through his dampened hair, he could honestly admit, he was starving, and couldn't wait to eat. "Buffy. Gonna make a future child of her's proud someday." When Buffy wasn't looking, Xander dipped his finger in the soup to sample it. It was so delicious, his mouth was watering. The food finally set out, Xander made with the polite and carefully took in some of the hot soup. "Wow. Putting a bang into yet another thing." He smiled.

Dawn had been in her room trying on the many bits of clothing that she had bought earlier. Dressed in a killer pair of black leather boots and new black pair of jeans, topped off with a black tank she looked at herself in the mirror "thats a whole lot of black" she giggled and headed downstairs to the kitchen where she had apparently just missed some action. "Um" she said before deciding to sit down. "I am sick of not eating anything good, Buffy can you or someone drive me to the shops? I am going to do some grocery shopping" she sighed, Whenever she had a summer job or got any birthday money she put it in the bank for emergencies or a rainy day. This was what she classed as a rainy day. She wrote down a shopping list that included all the yummy essentials as well as the fruit, meat and vegies and was ready to go. "Shall we?" she asked "ugh fine I will call a cab" she said as no one was paying any attention to her. The cab took her to the local shops and she spent an hour or so picking up what was on her list. After spending another half an hour waiting for another cab to take her home she was well and truly sick of it. Finally she was home and unpacked the shopping. "Guys I have food" she called out to no one in particular.

CONNOR WALKED INTO THE KITCHEN, HAVING SPENT THE DAY IN THE ATTICS ENGROSSED IN OLD WATCHER'S JOURNALS. REALLY COOL STUFF IN THERE, HE REALIZED. AND SOME SICK STUFF, ABOUT HIS FATHER, THAT HE COULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT. "HEY DAWN, NEED HELP PUTTING THIS STUFF AWAY?" HE ASKED, LOOKING AT THE BAGS OF GROCERIES.
