Isiah groped for memory, visibly struggling. "When.. I burst through the door, he was choking you by your tags. So I beat him senseless with a chair. That's what I saw." He wasn't sure why.. well.. it would be a problem, but.. Why it would be say, more of a problem than ..
He was confused, now..

"Oh. Okay..." He didn't seem too interested.
Tsurai was still groping for that important thing. There had to be something. Maybe it wasn't important at all. Maybe Tsurai was just royalizing it. He was making mountains out of molehills. He should should just try and get some sleep...

He sighed, continuing with his boring task, yanking his shirt off to get what he could of his back and chest, hissing quietly with pain from burnt skin. "I hope this s**t works.." He was beginning to feel a little itchy but he ignored it. That's how sunburns felt after they started to heal, so you would scratch the dead skin off.

It was really quiet. And Tsurai was so sore, his mind kept saying to sleep, regardless of how many times he'd blacked out earlier that day.
It was the middle of night when Tsurai woke up. And it was from a nightmare of a reality. The kid had remembered that important thing. In his sleep. Tsurai was panting because of it. And he had more pain. It just took him a moment to realize through Isiah's loud snoring what it was.
It wasn't actually pain, so much as a really nauseous kind of numb sore. And it was between his legs. That didn't bother Tsurai as much as his hand being right there. The best he knew, Tsurai didn't move in his sleep. He was positive he didn't snore, but he had never woken up with his hand.. Not where he left it.
Tsurai, shaking, got up, and what seemed like a drunken state, as his balance was off and he was crashing into things, collapsed outside the "house" and started puking up the soup and his insides from earlier. It wasn't pretty, but atleast Tsurai had managed to get out of the building before he had done it. Now his... Yelching would be at least a little muffled from Isiah.
The weird thing was that... Tsurai, although horrified by the prospect of actually enjoying the one thing he remembered, could really only think about Isiah dropping his face back in his own puke.
Probably an old brain-reflex from being abused, but, Tsurai still didn't want Isiah to wake up from this, regardless of how loud, unsettling, and trivial it was.

Isiah was roused from sleep by Tsurai's stumbling off of the cot, shaking his the sleep from his head. He heard Tsurai's yelch through a sleepy haze, before coming to realize what it was. He rose from his place, opening the door, straining his eyes in the dark. The smell told it all. "Tsurai? You okay?"

Tsurai coughed. He felt like his brains were bleeding through his mouth.
"No. Leave me alone," he hoarsed, looking for something the cover up his rather large pile of yellow and red mush with.
He couldn't find anything, and gagged one more time before forcing himself to swallow it. He didn't want Isiah to see him like this.
Coughing again, he leaned his back on the outside of the wall and took deep breaths, small coughs coming from him every now and then.

Isiah rubbed his eyes blearily, still adjusting to the darkness. "What happened? That soup not sit with you okay?" He headed over to where Tsurai had been and kicked dirt onto the offending odor. It would do better than nothing.

"No." He had to shut himself off, now. He starting breathing through his nose loudly.
Tsurai was not used to puking out his guts. But with Isiah... And travelling... It seemed to be getting a common occurance.
Tsurai was trying to tell himself to suck it up. So he enjoyed what happened. Big whoop. He shouldn't care, because it wasn't ever going to happen again. Right?
Trying to think about it that way just made him even more sick, but instead of puking the nothing he had left, he hacked up some stomach acid and spat it on the ground. That didn't taste.. Or feel... Too great.

Isiah sighed, wandering back into the house, grabbing Tsurai their canteen. He offered it to him. "Rinse your mouth out. Sparingly, please." He folded his arms over his chest. He was going to wait until Tsurai offered an acceptable explanation for his upchuck. Isiah hadn't felt sick so he didn't know why Tsurai would.

"No.. Keep it.. I'll live..." he mustered.
Tsurai let everything go. One deep breath in, and when you exhale, you're one with everything.
His a** may hurt from sitting on it, but he was too weak to do anything about it. And frankly, didn't really care.
"Isiah... I gotta know something. And I know this situation looks... Really bad. But if you say yes... It's not gonna get worse. So if the answer's yes. Just.. Go ahead and say yes. Really. But I just gotta know."
He took a deep breath and swallowed, forcing himself to slowly let it out, even though he was beginning to shake. Tsurai always shook, so that didn't really bother him.
"Just. Don't lie. Please." He was pleading. "Do you... Have a crush... On me..?"
Tsurai braced himself for an answer, and tried to will himself to think of things that wouldn't make him throw up. Because he was pretty sure the next thing that would come out of his mouth would be an actual organ.

Isiah gave him a strange look but it was lost in the dark. He laughed, shoulders rising and falling with a deep breath.
"You've got some ego, kid." He shoved his hands into his pockets. "Some mighty ego."

He let go of the breath he was holding. "Oh, thank god..." he rushed to himself.
Tsurai covered his eyes.
"Cyrus said that, too." After a pause, he gave a small cough. "But I wasn't puking at that, if it's what you're worried about. I'm... Trying really hard... To be that tree... Isiah." That sounded weird, but Tsurai tried not to think too much on it. His head hurt, anyway.
"But I don't think it's gonna work out."

"Once an oak they say." He paused. "Well, they don't. But that's the thing about being an oak- change is hard." He gave a weak smile. "The effort does count for something, Tsurai. It may not be much but it does count."

"Ugh. I hope it counts for a new stomach..." He groaned.
Tsurai started to get up, but realized his muscles were like taffy.
"I think... I'm gonna sit out here for a while."

Isiah walked over and lifted him onto his feet by the armpits before slinging Tsurai's good arm over his shoulders- they were still sticky from the salve he applied- carrying him into the shack as such before setting him back onto the cot, gingerly. "Try to get some sleep, okay?"
