"Just keep quiet. She's not real thick, but she won't be able to tell unlike Filch who always has that stupid cat." Lily whispered it just before McGonagall walked in.
"Hello." She nodded at the elves. "I'm just looking for students since they love to come here after hours." She then spotted Lily's yogurt. "Whose is that?"

Chelsie watched McGonnagall's feet appear from the one-inch gap between the table cloth and the floor. *I hope the house-elves don't give us away! But we didnt tell them our names, or what house we're in....but still...there's always the possiblity....Just please don't give us away!!!!* She thought cautiously, just feet from McGonnagall.

Lucy realized that she was still out of the cubbard. She had thankfully fallen when McGonnagal had come in and was low on the floor.
Oh!!!I hope she doesn't come over here!!! Thank the Lord for my clumsiness!!

Jade side-stepped McGonnagall underneath her cloak. She let out a sigh of relief.*Opps*
"Who's there?" she said reaching her hands out for something invisible... Jade. After avoiding her for so long Jade sat in one of the chairs and waited...

"How many of the students are here?" McGonagall asked the house elves sternly.
"Four ma-am." One of the elves sqeaked it fearfully.
Lily was sitting under the table cursing herself for not taking care of her yogurt. Suddenly she sneezed.

Lucy didn't want them to get in trouble, and Lucy could think fast. She stood up and caught McGonnagal's attention.
"Excuse me proffeser,but I am the here. I was actually looking for you, and I decided to check in here. Like you said, People like to come here after hours, and I am clumsy and I fell. I was looking for you because I heard from the Slytherin's that Snape is going to get us in trouble tonight."Lucy racked her brain for more quick lies."They were actually talking amongst themselves,but I was there, and I overheard a little. They said that they were going to lie to some Ravenclaws and make them go out after hours and I wanted you to know."
"Lucy, I know you didn't sneeze from where I heard it!" McGonnagal exclaimed.
"That is Lily. I asked her to come with me. There is also Jade and Chelsie. They were the ones that got lied to by the Slytherins. They came after us thinking we were in danger. It was all a misunderstanding." Lucy crossed her fingers behind her back.
"60 points from Slytherin." Lucy waited for her to say something about them.

Lily pulled out from under the table. "Hello professor." She breathed deeply.
"Miss Wixom, I've told you many times you're not allowed out after hours." McGonagall shook her head. "As a seventh year you should know better. 20 points from ravenclaw for you and Lucy. I'm sorry Lucy, but you shouldn't have looked after hours. You both have detention as well. Jade, Chelsie, you can come out."

Chelsie crawled out from under the table, breathing a sigh of relief. "Hi Professor." She said gloomily. This was Chelsie's first time being caught breaking rules. She had broke another once before and had come very close to being caught, but hadn't. "Please, Professor, I just came along. It's like Lucy said. We were trying to find you, honestly." She said, hoping that Lucy's idea would save them all. *Great....Thanks, house-elf.* She thought.

"I know you're probabally sick of catching me professor." Lily smiled and walked toward the door.
"Miss Wixom, it's been a long day, and catching you for the millionth time was the cherry on top of it."

"Do we still have detention? And if we do, Jade shouldn't. She was just going to bed. I am sorry I tried to find you at night, but proffeser, do you want to give the Slytherin's the satisfaction?" Lucy heald her breath. She had missed half that conversation in shock. That idea came fast. The fastest thinking she had ever done. Would the idea save their butts?

"IF Miss Slavings was going to bed, why was she still in the kitchen?" McGonagall sighed. "Oh never mind, none of you have detention if you can get out of here in 30 seconds."
"Thank you professer." Lily scampered out the door and tripped over her robe as she fled bringing her crashing to the marble floor. She then pulled her self to her knees and crawled out of the kitchens. "'I'm gone."
